Hi, I love BitcoinTalk for one good reason it bring lots of view and opinion about the crypto world.  Because of it I can relay on great content to learn and decide with the help of a growing community on which or not to go in.

I feel like I missed the train working hard for years and not seeing this crypto revolution happening, the worse in this is that my work involve cryptographie and encryption...
now that I take a break I realize the potential of decentralize asset ! Let's hope the masses get it as well and the it boost the adaptation rate.

Your words really inspire in mind. We do not want to gather knowledge forum. we enter the forum only to earn money. Everyone wants to earn some money from bounty. But nobody wants to acquire knowledge.
The crypto world's curiosity is almost a year but I have not really achieved anything. I will study the topics you present here. It would be better if I could gain some knowledge from the path you showed. Your small brother has unlimited greetings because of which you have come here.

Appreciate all these kind words. This forum really helped me / still helping a lot improving my personal skills and knowledge. If someone has this mind set that they will only earn money from the forum by spamming all over then s/he is wrong. Those days are gone. Now you need to focus on quality over quantity and thanks for merit system for that.

Thanks for recommendation. Google Translate aren't perfect, but it works better than I expected, translation are really understandable.

This page seems pretty complete and detailed: http://www.pitt.edu/~poole/PGP.htm
There are also great videos that you can see to understand the basics. Eg: How To Use PGP/GPG Encryption - In 2 minutes - PGP /GPG Tutorial for Beginners
Wow, great stuff, thanks for sharing it! Will spend time to study these resources.

Now I still would like to learn about PGP keys and how to sign it, but I don't know good tutorials about it in English.

Good one mate. While the first one is very details documentation and the 2nd one is well explained. It (the 2nd one) clears the idea.

This thread, called"Terminology" is also important:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/terminology-126798
When I was newbie, I saw so many unknown and change terms and this thread helped to understand what some terms means.
Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney)
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-and-me-hal-finney-155054

I am loving this Terminology topic. Looks like this will be another great resource for me. By the way, I have added both on the "Member's Recommendation" post. Very useful resources. Thank you.

Slava Ukraini!
Thanks for making this thread. You're right, Bitcointalk isn't all about the money, it's a great tool for self development.
Actually, I joined Bitcointalk just to find new Bitcoin faucets on Micro earnings board and promote my website. But later I realized I started to read helpful threads and educate myself. I will post links to few most important topics.
Tutorial how to sign a message was really useful for me. It helped to recover my bitcointalk account.

I think this thread is also meaningful. It's important to know story of Hal Finney.

A video can obviously teach you more than a forum post Smiley
Yes it does however I hope you understand that my goal is to highlight the assets that we have in BitcoinTalk forum and encourage the new members to spend their time in here to learn things which are available here.

Honestly speaking we are living in a world where information is everywhere and most importantly it's FREE (?) for those who know where to find them. Google, YouTube have everything in their database, BIG business, marketing, followers, subscribers, adsense, pay per click, youTube view, money everything - make your wild guess what I am talking about. I am not ignoring the fact that there are good people around there.

If you know what you are looking for then you can find it easily using a search engine. But before knowing (that you are looking for), you need clue. In my personal experience this forum gave me the clues which I have stated on my original post.

He has, but he doesn't use it. His profile shows that he hasn't been active since 12 August 2017.

Seems like you have done an extensive search to find his profile. Well-done mate, but unfortunately the profile IS dead LOL

Thanks for the information mate however I would like to keep everything that is happening in bitcoinTalk. I do not want to end up promoting someone else's channel however it's an awesome channel by the way.

Another resource for the beginners among us...

The best YouTube channel on Bitcoin >>> Ben Perrin's BTC Sessions

The BTC Sessions cover instructional topics, opinion discussions on different products, and interviews with key people from the crypto industry. I've been watching this guy's videos for years, Ben never disappoints!

My journey on Bitcointalk

To: Newbies & feeling Newbies,

You might have read many positive feedbacks about how smooth other members started here, but mine is different, it is hard to start as a newbie; people will reject you and say something bad to you even if you know you’re not that person or that member. I joined many services to help me boost my idea about quality post and their thoughts about me, but I got rejected and even worst called me “a merit whore”. It affects me a lot because I know I am not that person, so, I just improved myself to show them I am different. The mindset of “some” high ranks is that newbies are here to rank up and join campaign(s) or bounties, which greatly distress those who are really into bitcoin & crypto. I cannot blame them why they judge newbies like that, they don’t know who we really are in-person, and what our motivations in joining bitcointalk are, shitposters are to blame.  I respect their opinions; it made me more motivated to do my research, learn more about cryptocurrency, and improved your English (at least people can understand you).

I am saying these negative things because in reality, you get rejected or you rejected someone, and not all in your life is full of positive feedbacks. It is up to you on how you would convert your negative feedbacks to motivations. Always remember in life, that 10% is what happened to us, and 90% is how we react to it (Dennis P. Kimbro). There is no easy way or a continuous positive path; you just need to earn it.

Negative feedbacks carried me to who I am today in bitcointalk, so don’t be discourage, be positive, and continue to grow, to show your glow in this community. I thank those people who rejected me and those people who do not like me as well, because they help me in a different way to become a better bitcointalk member. Sometimes those people who are a bit of a cunt, mostly help people, so don’t judge them- learn from them.

To help our community, kindly do your research before starting a new topic.

Forum is a place to relax and earn more knowledge after a busy day at work or business. Enjoy.

Regards,

theyoungmillionaire

Be Positive

I really admire you brother, I feel you. I also received negative feedbacks from other users here. I like your mindset. And that's what makes you who you are now. No wonder why you have many merits than your activity, because you proved them wrong. If there is one thing that I learned from you that is,

"Use negativities as a source of motivation"

Really nice, you brought some nice remembers to me!!
I also would recommend all the posts Satoshi has made: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/satoshi-3

Very informative and useful, for it gives a lead of how difficult was to set-up the Blockchain Whitepaper and the creation of this forum since the very beginning. A nice read for those interested in the past and in understanding from where we all come.  Tongue

Thanks for your experience. My country hasn't developed much about Bitcoin so I don't have much knowledge about that. I really want to learn more from other members. It teaches me a lot.
