Just exactly is the database hidden in computer? Most wallets is in roaming data. Orbitcoin is not.
My client says cannot download block index. Says to check debug log. Cannot access it, as I do not
know where to look. Computer froze up, had to shut down to reboot. Now cannot open up Orbitcoin
GUI client. Keep getting error loading block index-check debug.log Unfortunately, I cannot find it, to check.
I have the windows 1.5.0.0 *** Installation Instructions for Orbitcoin v1.5.0.0 (Windows) ***

If this is the first time you install Orbitcoin on your computer, all you
need to do is to extract the distribution into a directory of your choice and
run orbitcoin-qt.exe which is the official Qt GUI client.

The Qt GUI client may accept various command line parameters at run time.
It is convenient to store them in a configuration file, data\orbitcoin.conf
It doesn't exist by default and the Qt GUI client may work without it, though
if you want to enable extended functionality, you need to create it and put
some settings in. Please refer to the forums for additional information.

When the block chain download is complete, you can receive and send coins on
the Orbitcoin network.


Since v1.4.0.0, Orbitcoin employs a non-standard location of directory with
block chain and peer data bases, your wallet and configuration file. Previous
clients have stored all this data in an "Orbitcoin" subdirectory located in a
hidden system path:

(Windows 2000, XP, 2003) C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\
(Windows Vista, 7,     C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\

It was supposed to provide some protection against accidental wallet deletion by
an inexperienced user as many people didn't know where to find it. On the other
hand, it appeared to be a security breach as many wallet stealing trojans and
remote access scripts knew where to look for user data. It was advised to enable
wallet encryption usually, though there was also an option to move the whole
subdirectory elsewhere and report the full path to the client or daemon using
-datadir run time parameter which was rather inconvenient.

The client will not open up, so I have no clue where to go from here. I tried looking for
the data, block index and the like, hidden somewhere? Some help would be appreciated!

For me is ORB is a long-term investment as does Warren Buffet. The power consumption for staking is very low!
If the BTC completes the world around, then that's for a lot of money in the Crypto Market, which the ORB must inevitably gotten something!
