There are certainly worse investments to throw all your wealth into, as for me, I'm down with ORB!

Thanks Jed78 always nice to see you supporting Orbitcoin sir.

Only problem with your theory is the last few thousand of your 100,000 investors are going to have to be willing to pay $500 per coin, they will need to invest significantly more than $10. So what's in it for them, ten years from now why are people going to be willing to invest so much money into Orb so that the early investors can cash out and retire?

If orb is nothing but a way for early adopters to get rich it will fail. You should look into ways to promote it's utility rather than just a speculative asset otherwise it's going to be hard to get those late adopters to pay up big for orbs

As I've said this isn't the only form of ORB promotion please give it a google search,
in this thread I only deal with the aspect of saving for your retirement with Orbitcoin, its here for them keywords.

The people investing in 9 years time will get around 0.025 ORB for $10, so yes they'll probably want to invest more at this point, maybe in instalments like normal retirement funds, but in todays market $10 is all that's needed.

At the time of investing they must wait 10 years not one, so those people will be looking to gain ORB 250,000 users before retiring.

Its also worth noting once your retired, it doesn't mean you'll have to cash it all out in to Fiat, its already possible for you to pay your home bills with Orbitcoin via https://Cointopay.com

Its hard to say where the price will be once we gain 250,000 Orbitcoin supporters in 20 years, that depends how much help each person wishes to give Orbitcoin in their spare time, also how much they invest in the system  Grin

At a guess Id say it will be $3000 per 1∅ in 20 years, I'm taking fiat inflation and Orbitcoin deflation in to account with this estimate,

Its said Bitcoin only has 500,000 users, so its all debatable with what the price will be, the one thing we know is    (it will be much higher than today)

(edit) as you as a big question,

Also in 9 to 10 years Orbitcoin will have many more direct merchants, services, information sites, liquidity options, supporters/savers, and maybe even space programs,

and If all that was to fail, we're linked in with the future of bitcoin as a backup, Orbitcoin can't reach 0 satoshi due to the rare supply.

Hi, ORBlord

I will give this a shot. I thought about buying in at least 6 months ago. looking back at the chart I should have!
It would be real nice if there was a bootstrap file of blockchain. Otherwise it will take a few days to download
the blockchain from scratch. 42 coins is very limited, but has kept moving down in value. Well, if it does drop
down in value, I could become a whale? I bought 79 so far, I'll keep watching and see if I can buy more on the
down low. I guess, I will have to wait for the wallet to sync. Guessing it will be a few days.

Peace, Dennis

We have a recent copy of the blockchain you could use to make syncing faster sir,
you can find it under wallet downloads in these threads

what you propose could potentially work, however, you are relying on this one thread-driven by only one individual- to motivate masses of people into the delusion of riches that tend to fuel price pumps.. but that doesnt mean the value increases, because outside your bunch of groupies no one would be buying ORD's or w.e

you need to get a giant watch on a string, oh and a turban.. im sure it'd suit the retirement home as well

I'm not replying on this one thread I have other threads as well such as
https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/40417-self-employed-open-source-retirement-fund-retire-in-only-10-years/

These threads don't give massive Orbitcoin information other threads and sites do,

I set these up for people looking to save for retirement only, and I hope to help many people achieve their dreams..
threads like this will be the historical record of that.

Great! At this rate you will be a millionaire in 10 years, indeed. But then why we need to buy in? BTW what you going to tell us when ORB goes back to 3k-5k sats, where it spent the most of the last two years?

Id tell you at that price I could buy the entire supply my self and take us to $50 per ORB LOL,
2.1 million isn't that hard for a medium size whale to buy up the supply, though as I state in the start post Id rather us reach 100,000 people, than just few big investors that's why its a 10 year plan.

Its true two months ago 100 ORB = $1 but its been increasing constantly, it touched bottom an we'd be lucky to see them prices again.

My plan is clearly laid out at the start of the thread  Grin

is $500 per coin possible once we reach 100,000 users? that I'm willing to debate.

I would say what price it is now, but you guys that didn't invest yet might start crying lmao

Okay okay I'll tell you  Roll Eyes
Price was $13.54 per 272 Orbitcoin in my last post,
now its $14.37
http://coinmill.com/ORB_USD.html#ORB=272
That's up nearly 50% profit already from the point when I posted the thread!
