I hold for long-term buddy. All of my investments are made on January this year and I'm planning to hold for atleast a year.
now the bitcoin price is a declining value, for me it is very easy to get a good profit in the long run that you want to get big profits as well as the short term you get in the way you can invest in trading in altcoin, as we are very easy in term short.
I agree with your opinion; bitcoin is only suitable for short-term investment. If you want to invest long term, then we can invest long-term in some potential coin such as ETH, ADA or OMG.
Holding the altcoin will bring a lot of profit in the future as the value of the coin increases,you can even buy more if the value in the market goes down cos definitely it will still go up and you will have your pocket smiling to the profit
If you got the money,just buy the dip for now,but it depends on what coin we're talking about,just cutloss if you hold some shitcoin that has no worth.If you got some big coin,buy the dip if you got money and wait for the bull to come,that's the only strategy when the market down.
A lot of coins now are at their support levels. Of course, bottoms are always relative. If there is nothing wrong with fundamentals I'd hold.
Hold your coins because the market is correcting it's self and will rise before they end of the year,altcoin are find and getting it's value and will surely rise .ALTCoins are finding their value in market terms.

If the coin you hold is a good coin and you think the coin will recover and increase, I suggest buying it more because at that time you can buy cheaply and wait until the price increases. Everything depends on the need for money. Of course the Hold will bring you more income, but for a long time. If there is a need for money for the moment, then of course the sale.

I prefer to hold my altcoin and wait for the increase of the price rather than selling it at a dip.

I prefer to hold my altcoin because I know now that altcoin price is in decline hence I prefer to hold altcoin and if I choose to sell altcoin I will get lost then I prefer to keep my altcoin until the price stabilized

This is the best time to buy some altcoins at dip. Such bear periods aren't meant for selling but for accumulating more. Right now, altcoins which I am targeting are EDR, REM, IOST, POT. personally, I think, I always prefer to hold my altcoin and if my coin price goes down and that situation I buy more coins for my average initial investment. if the price of the coins has gone up high again, the part I will sell and half of them I hold them.
thank you for sharing your story. it is same with me like XRB (raiblock) I used to have 2000 XRB price 1000-2000 satoshi and that time I also really need capital for trading other coins. and I sell at 2000 satoshi price because I see the development of XRB when it's normal .in a few months it remains that way and but it's been wanted year-end mid november the coin goes up to 70% and the end of the year 170% goes up my wah i'm so crazy i can get more profit if i keep hold. but if it's destiny to do again? I think it's not my livelihood. but I can learn that there is better to hold if the price of the coin is still cheap and the community is still active and growing ascertained next time will surely repeat the old story like XRB so I am true HOLD. if haga is suitable for sale yes I sell it i want to share my experience also with all of you
If you are need of money and you've got no alternative for funding, you could look into your portfolio and sell what csn provide you with your need but remenber you could regret selling in the future! It is better to repare for your needs before they come so that you don't sell important asset that could make you wealthy in the future!
