Never happened to my life, All i knew when sending money via wallet online, Im just making the habit to double check the account, If you can check trice or more than that then its better. Make sure to always careful in processing transaction esp, in cryptocurrency because there is no insurance to recover your  money after all your hard efforts.

If you send it by mistake or willingly you cant do any thing except for the fact you just message him in the case if you know him/her and request for re sending of bitcoins then its depend on the that person May be he/she can send or may not be.

Have you ever send money to someone by mistake ? ever happened with you ?

Like i am going to send some money to my friend via blockch but mistakenly i send to someone ( a person you don't know )

Nope, I always double or even triple check the address before I send my bitcoins into someone wallet. Always check two-three times when you want to do things about money, it is money man, so be careful about it. Thank god I never had experience about it.

Copy and paste the address of the recipient will eliminate the possibility of sending bitcoin to a wrong person I always check the btc address and ensured that  I am sending it to the right person, this is a very important precaution before sending bitcoin because btc transaction is irreversible.

It can be a very unfortunate to realized that we made an honest mistake in sending cryptocurrency  to someone we don't know because for sure the chance for it to be returned is nil. This is the reason we have to be extremely careful on the details we are using and never ever assume that things are okay just by one glance. As for me, so that I would not be crying a river later, I make sure to triple check the details before I finally click the word SEND.

We have to remember that we are on our own here as it would also be difficult for the wallet service provider to be getting into the problem. We must get into the habit of triple checking everything and sending funds should not be done in haste...without you knowing about it you just created a big waste which you will surely regret.

Anyway, just learned the big lesson here and you are on your way to never committing the same mistake next time.

I haven't done it before. I always check and double before sending since i know its never refund to us.
So better you reconfirm to check the wallet address 2 or 3 time before sending.

I'm fortunate that It didn't happen to me up to now. Sorry to hear that. But I think there is no way to recover it. Im not sure, correct me if Im wrong.
I read somewhere that there are malware virus now that changed the copied address. We must be more cautious in copy-pasting our wallet addresses.
This post will help others that we must be aware that this scenario actually happen.

Never happened with me because I double check the addresses and the amount every time I send money to anyone. You should be patient and attentive when it comes to the matter of money.

This will be very rare to happen but if that occurs to you there really isn't anything you can do because the transactions are ireversible. As sad and very disappointing as it is the only measure we can do to avoid this is always double check the address that you are sending to.

i was able to experience this kind of situation but not Mistakenly,

Few days ago I was trying to join a signature campaign. then i have to put the given information to apply,

when i copy my bitcoin address to the reply Post, something was wrong the wallet that has been copied was another address,

so I think that if it valid, then I try to send a little amount of btc which is .000001 but it was not send to my original address,
so i post a new topic regarding of my problem, and somebody replies that my pc is affected by a virus called COPY-PASTE virus.

this is A real Problem so You better Check Your PC too. and then most often check the wallet address you are copying when Transacting.

I hope This Help Who Think that someone send money by mistake.

This is a unique thing to happen because you just make a lettra that the procesors will not receive it and say that it is Invalid addres. Depending on the other addres you used and you mistakenly write it to your recipient. But you can get it back if you know what you've sent. But if you do not know what you have sent you pray that it will be returned to you

I think it's impossible if it happens in the bitcoin world, chances are people have a wallet address that resembles 0% because each of the account addresses generated by the machine will not produce the same character.

There was a recent report that there was a speeding scam wherein in copying the address via wallet, the address is bring changed.
So I have never experienced something like these and hope that I don't now or the near future.
Advice is check your address everytime you are going to transfer.

There was also an issue before, i don't know if it was still up untio now, but actually before there was also some kind of hack or what do they call it, that you copy your address and once you paste it, another address will come out, even though you keep on repeating it same address still appears after you pasted it. That was also one of the reasons why some people tell they have been scammed, hacked, phished, or they have send it mistakenly.

This is one of the disadvantages BTC has over fiat, becaus eonce the money is sent by mistake to someone, you can't retrieve it, and you can only pray that the other guy who received it, is human enough to send you back the BTC.  And if you are sending big quantities, you have always to double check to which address you are sending, so you don't send it to anyone by mistake.
I had a case when I sent it by mistake bitcoins. It was the Manager of one of the companies signature which I wore. I returned the coins but can be caught and dishonest people. The amount was very high for me and for the Manager. Maybe it will be a niche that will take in the future, banks. The safe transactions and the possibility of backsliding.

Hasn't happened but, I would like to warn everyone about a virus that changes the bitcoin addresses - just before you hit send.

It tracks the mouse movement and when its near the Send button, it changes the bitcoin address to the hacker's address. So, everyone please be careful and install latest anti-virus and anti-malware softwares onnly.

As for that issue I can recommend what my brother in law told me about. one tip is to use the Ctrl + f to paste the address after filling up the the receivers address for just to check if it's the same as the original source. But be always sure to read it very carefully because some virus will always paste the new address in every blank form. And by using this method I have never mistakenly send btc anyone.

No, and hopefully it won't happen. I don't trust myself that much, however.
