Never happened to me because I always double check the adress I am sending my bitcoins or any other crypto. But I had an issue that was kind like that. I was sending 0,8 BTC to an adress from the xapo exchange and I took a quick look at the adress and everything was fine for me. But what occured was that I missed a single character and I just saw it when the page was loading to send the btc. I got really scared but fortunately the exchange detected that this adress was wrong and I came back to the withdraw page. So now every single transaction I do I take a look at each character.

How can you make such a mistake i mean it's really rare if someone unintentionally sends money to someone by mistake. Luckily I'm not dumb to do such things even if it does happen with you or anyone you know it's better if you forget the money because once it's sent nothing can be done about it

Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. If you send money mistakenly to someone or to the wrong address, there is nothing that can be done to revert the transaction.

It's kinda hard due to the nature of blockchain addresses. You don't introduze each character one by one but rather copy it entirly so one wouldn't expect to commit this miskate.

I'm afraid to say that if you sent it to the wrong address then that's it gone. It's not like you can just message the address and ask for it back. Important to make sure the address is right.

Never have I experience this unfortunate event and I wish I won't in the future. Since I don't have much in my wallet right now, I always make sure I got the right recipient address. I always ask for the person to send me the addy so I'll just copy and paste it directly. And then make at least 2x checking if I got the right one. It's hard if we sent it to other addy especially if we have no idea who owns that and we can't cancel the transaction. Once you hit the button there's no way of retrieving it and the only thing you can do is mentally kick yourself and cry.

Hasn't happened but, I would like to warn everyone about a virus that changes the bitcoin addresses - just before you hit send.

It tracks the mouse movement and when its near the Send button, it changes the bitcoin address to the hacker's address. So, everyone please be careful and install latest anti-virus and anti-malware softwares onnly.

yeah if you transfer you will know the process and how to use. So it best transaction but you care full to transfer. If transfer bitcoin you will received the cash confirm after you will reseal the bitcoin. you will transfer you leaner the process it help to transaction. Well, in general, this is your inattention. Of course, you can ask the person to whom the money was sent to return your money. But I doubt that he will return, because all people love free money.

Never. But I can see how it can happen. Maybe you were going to send a few coins to a friend, but forgot that you already had crtl+c or copied another address from a previous transaction, you hit paste on your wallet and then send, but forgot to double check because it wasn't a large sum. It can happen if you're not careful enough. With time you get used to always check every address you send coins to.

I never experience that too, and I never ever wish that thing will gonna happen to me.
I just had encountered wrong people where I just sent money, like it was turned to scam, just find out later I was scammed, that was a big laugh from and big lesson to mh life.
Anyway, in connection, I never had that mistakes before, and if you had, sad to say that you cannot get that anymore no matter how you trace those code, you will find it so hard to do so.

Never happened to me.  It would be impossible to send bitcoin to someone by mistake.  I copy the bitcoin address and then paste it.  That action will be hard to have a mistake.  So if you said you do it wrong, maybe it is the other way around.  Your friend sent you an address that is not belongs to him

i never experience like that because i read properly everytime i make a transaction like twice or more then if the transaction is my first like in other site i make only a little bitcoin like 0.0005 to try their site if its legit or good enough to handle my money if you want to retrieve your bitcoin in others you need the transaction record or the information of the person that you send your bitcoin

Extremely hard to due to to how specific and unique addresses are, it would be easier to accidentally use a previously sent address as a withdrawal address.

I haven't and wish i wouldn't, if you had accidental sent your btc into wrong address its either someone has your btc or your btc is lost no no one, anyway that would be a mess
