Would be nice to have some features like whatsapp has https://www.whatsapp.com/

Having something like this and being able to be used with contacts am sure could start a massive trend on an IM service that you can send receive picture messages send voice message clips and text though using WiFi or Internet on phone. And only storing data within a persons phone so that you do not require much of a data centre to control stuff maybe have cloud features too. Cant wait for this to come out as I will be using it on my z1c and chatting to people to start using the services on it.

I appreciate that the team behind SendChat is trying to bring bitcoin to the masses by integrating it with an app that 50 million people already use.

That will make it easy to adopt for people who are on Telegram and who know about/use bitcoin.

I think, though, that there is not compelling reason here for someone who hasn't used bitcoin to adopt SendChat.

SendChat needs functionality compelling enough for non-bitcoin, non-Telegram users to adopt it.

In the messenger space Venmo is very popular in the USA with the under-30 crowd because of it's social newsfeed features.

Venmo has already proven that the model works. They also are NOT available outside the USA.  This is a golden opportunity for someone.

SendChat should consider adding Venmo-like bill-splitting and newsfeed functionality.  People who adopt it for these reasons will have to use bitcoin as a result, thus truly bringing bitcoin to the masses.

Very interesting... I have forwarded this to Ricardo as well. Are you connected to Venmo? Please PM. thank you!

Excellent presentation on London. While Alejandro spread the word of SendChat to the Bitcoin Community, we are actively developing the SendChat Features. A demo video is on the way to show some potential features to include in the app (hint: send gifts through SendChat Store, play games with your friends and more)

Very curious about the demo video. Good to see your promotions everywhere on expo's.  Smiley

Hey all,

If the crowdfund is not a success we will look for other avenues of funding. What we meant to say is that we won't quit if the funding is not met.

Thanks

Dosen't look like they're getting anywhere near 350BTC. If the project still goes on when the money is refunded, why was the money needed in the first place...?

The project will continue despite reaching 350 or not, all funds will return to their owner as stated in terms and condition

So they can do the project without any ico, but they won't accept the ico outcome unless everyone's shares are diluted by 350 btc? I'm confused. Developer, if the ico doesn't reach 350 btc what will the distribution method go to?

Just so I'm clear here - if the ico falls even 1 btc short of 350 btc it will be cancelled. Currently there is less than 18 btc collected with 11 days left.

Supposedly the "big" investors are waiting for the last minute so they can score a lot for a little.

We'll see.
