I'm sure this project won't go anywhere, the dev is not very experienced and doesn't have enough resources to make something out of it.
We'll see if this project is successful or not, but I would definitely not let it depend on a dev's experience solely, nor on his putative resources.

Quote
Funds should be stored in multi sig with known companies or else devs will leave the project with the money, mark my words.
Have you seen any information about how the crowdfunding is organised? Well I haven't, so I'll wait patiently to see how that is done.
Quote
Be careful where you put your money in, dev only shows a twitter with a picture, no video interviews, no news outlets mentioning this, no meetings, no partnerships, this is a must for someone with big promises.
SendChat is as fresh as can be. The main site wasn't even functional a couple of days ago. So I don't expect a lot of promotion going on at this stage.

Anyway thanks for your concern about my money, but I do appreciate to spend it the way I want and make my own opinion on whether a project is worth investing in.

Back in the days this approach might have worked where lot of noobs where here, but people have woke up. btw i sold all my block it was a shitty project.

I've been on twitter for a long while talking about bitcoin and crypto for more than a year now. I've been to many BTC conferences, meetups, etc. etc. But enough about me...

As for the crowdsale, nothing has been mentioned about that as of yet... so how can you say cast doubt upon it? As for every investor who is interested, rest assured the details will be coming out soon. We stand for transparency, (as you can already see we've shared our linkedins and personal twitters) the crowdsale will be totally transparent. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the comment

Just saw the whitepaper and wtf was that, it's like a copy and past from some article, could be applicable to every messenger. There is no sharing much at all about how its coded, its issuance model, or anything about the structure of this tradeable token. If you claim going mainstream at least you have to have a decent whitepaper and should be active in the public space which i don't see happening, too many cons for me sorry to say, it's good for a school project though.
If you're not interested in SendChat, then hit the road and go on playing with your BLOCK bag. Have fun over at their forum, but don't bother us with your opinion, pretending to be a whistle blower.

It's okay, it was a good question because other investors need to know that:

A third and thorough whitepaper highlighting everything about SendChat the product will be coming out in a couple of days.

Great to hear!

In the announcement post as you can check, it says that we have a third whitepaper coming out.

This third whitepaper will touch upon all you have said and more. Basically, it will be the product whitepaper, a backgrounder whitepaper as it's commonly called.

The two whitepapers we have out now, are what are usually called problem/solution whitepapers. A problem/solution whitepaper is to:

introduce an improved solution to a common business or technical challenge.

I just think, that this idea would work better with other IM apps.
Snapchat had introduced SnapCash, and just like that having this integrated into them would be cool.
I don't see my friends using SendChat soon, as they are already using the other ones.

That's a great point we touch upon on our recent blog post: http://sendchat.org/the-advantage-of-building-sendchat-on-telegram/

To give you a quick overview, SendChat is built upon the open source and powerful messaging app Telegram. We feel this is an advantage for SendChat and it’s users.

SendChat users will be able to message users who are using Telegram or third party messaging apps built on Telegram.

Please read through the blog post for more information.
