As pooya has said, addresses never expire and so the coins are at the address in question. If you can't find the coins in your wallet, then make sure the address is correct, make sure you have opened the correct wallet, and make sure your wallet is properly syncing with the blockchain and showing you the most up to date information.

Hello. Inadvertently sent a second transfer to a disposable wallet (expired) electrum. The second transfer was not credited, although the confirmations have already passed. Please tell me how can I recover and receive money from the second transfer? Where can I find the Used addresses?
Electrum wallets or the addresses it gives you are NEVER expiring. If you have correctly copied the address the wallet gave you and received a payment then it is already in your wallet. You can go to your History tab and see it.
What "expires" is a payment request that makes no difference in you receiving the payment or the address that remains a part of your wallet.

as i considered nobody going to return money back. All the people i ve managed to connect were supports or owners of TG channels from variouscountries, they advised me to open my own group in my country as i already donated a good sum and receive donations like they do... unfortunately the mechanism working as like people just get profit in its own pocket, i don't believe anything is hitting Assange
That is unfortunate that you have been unsuccessful in getting your funds returned... from a genuine mistake.

It also seems a bit sketchy that you can just setup a wikileaks group and start asking for donations... I'd be very very hesistant to donate anything, knowing that this is how the whole thing seems to be setup! Shocked Undecided

No answer on all available contacts online
It has only been 3 or 4 days... so don't give up all hope. Give it a week or 2 and see if you get any response.

If you still get nothing after a few weeks, then it looks like you've learned a very unfortunate, very expensive lesson about bitcoin Undecided

These links aren't working
It's for their online webchat, which is currently unavailable anyway however. It does say you can contact them by leaving them a note in the "further information" field of their submissions system, which is available here: http://rpzgejae7cxxst5vysqsijblti4duzn3kjsmn43ddi2l3jblhk4a44id.onion/wlupload.en.html (again, you will need to download and run Tor browser to access this site, available here: https://www.torproject.org/download/)

You can try contacting them Pidgin as outlined here: https://wikileaks.org/wiki/WikiLeaks:Chat
There are also a number of email addresses available here: https://wikileaks.org/wiki/WikiLeaks:Contact

You can also try messaging them on Twitter or Facebook.

vv181 posted a few email addresses that you can use to contact Wikileaks. Try with that.
They used to have a webchat over clearnet, but apparently that's no longer the case. However, there is still a way to send them a message over TOR at wlupld3ptjvsgwqw.onion.

Make sure that you read this if you decide to contact them via TOR > https://wikileaks.org/talk/.

Goof luck!

Yep, it's verified. So just send them this:

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hi, I donated to Wikileaks today 2021-11-15 from the address 1KcmJjKKSyUQZqrMfKwSnRtSiGsHsz52Vo the equivalent of 5000 USD and I meant to send only 50 USD. See transaction ID a04709737b03c42169549ca5a5df8fa0840982782165663887fa691b0b697d8c. I would ask you kindly to return the difference caused by my mistake, if possible, to my bitcoin address 1KcmJjKKSyUQZqrMfKwSnRtSiGsHsz52Vo.

I have to post a signature to verify it?

Yes. The signature should go where now we have
The signature is generated by your wallet when you do "sign message" (and depends on the wallet used).

As an example you can look here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.58393309

Signing address:
1KcmJjKKSyUQZqrMfKwSnRtSiGsHsz52Vo

is this wallet refers to WL?

thanks.

It should be the wallet address you have sent the donation from.

Was https://mempool.space/tx/a04709737b03c42169549ca5a5df8fa0840982782165663887fa691b0b697d8c indeed you transaction? Is 1KcmJjKKSyUQZqrMfKwSnRtSiGsHsz52Vo your address? Then this is what you should use.

You should sign a message with that wallet because it's the only proper way to know that it was indeed you the one who has sent that donation.
Without this bit it can be anybody asking them to return donations, just for the fun of it. So this approach (with signing the message) should give your request much more credibility, because it's only you who can do that.

I suggest something like:

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

(Only) your wallet should be able to sign the message using address 1KcmJjKKSyUQZqrMfKwSnRtSiGsHsz52Vo.
You may post it here first so we can verify it.

The problem is to find this person, all contacts i ve tried to reach by phone a switched off, it is more likely they will not answer me on twitter too.
if you haven't contacted them via email, try to send it. There is no appropriate email address for your issue but you can try to send it to [email protected], as a start.

Make sure you add the signed message on the mail and state your issue clearly. I don't know how long they will respond to your inquires, but if after some days they haven't responded yet. Try to send the email to another address([email protected]).

2. The recipient notices the receipt of the money, is an honest person and transfers it back to the sender. Which is rather unlikely in the case of a donation address...
Yeah, that's not going to work in this case. Wikileaks expects donations, so anything you send their way, be it $50 or $5000, is an amount they would think you wanted to donate. The only correct way to approach this situation is to get in touch with someone from the movement, explain what happened, sign a message like other users suggested to prove you were the one who made the transaction, and ask to speak with someone who accepts and handles donations. Once the connection has been established, ask if they can refund you the difference and hopefully they will. It might take a while, but I am sure they aren't going to take any money that was wrongly sent to them and requested to be returned with proof of ownership.

At least the chance is there.
You must exhaust all possible means of contact.
If you can reach someone in charge of the finances through any of their channels and tell them about it, I can't imagine that Wikileaks will refuse to give the money back, if you can prove that it comes from you...

I wish you every success and would be pleased if you report how it turned out.
