Your 2100$ is possible to recover as we know that TRC-20 is the network of Tron. So the company can recover it if they want, And it will depend on the company to get the money refund. Another thing is you have strong proof you can provide trx link for the company. If they used exchange address there is no difficulties here because USDT(TRC-20) and TRON address are same.

i accidently sent 2100$ usdt to the trx address of some company and they are saying that they will look if its possible to recover i meed expert opinion that is it possible or i just lost my money
you can see the transaction ID on the Tron blockchain, and send it to the company,
they should already know if you have sent proof of the transaction, it's really difficult if it's been sent wrong,
many cases where the money is lost, and a few cases where the money can be returned, it all depends the company,
hopefully the company will return your money

I really feel bad for you. At this moment it really sucks to be in that kind of situation. Despite them saying they'd look into it, you might as well just consider you $2100 to be gone since some support really don't do much for these type of errors that are from the user's end. The best thing you can do is learn from this experience and be careful next time and try to get some updates about your issue from time to time. I really hope you get back your money because that isn't a small amount.

TRC20 toknes do go to TRX address and they are sent to the address the company is holding. 2100 is a large amount and the company should workout and give back your coins specially when the TRX address is specifically dedicated to you. Most of the exchange do have same address for TRX and TRC20 tokens so I guess it's something that doesn't support TRC20 tokens. I hope they give it a time and settle it. Always check your address twice before sending to not have such troubles.

So you have sent $2100 in USDT on the Tron blockchain to some company by mistake and you want them back? Let me make it very clear no one can reverse a crypto transaction and if anyone messages you claiming they can do it, they are scammers.

What you can do to get back the coins? Try and contact the company you mentioned and they should be the only entity who can help you out with the refund. If they are a big company they should have no problem returning funds sent to them by mistake but if don't want to refund, you can do nothing but create a thread in the reputation section against the company with all possible details to create more pressure maybe. You can create a thread in scam accusation as well but I don't think it should be classified as scam.

So you are suggesting him to file a case for it. For 2100$ it will cost more than it. I think he should wait because that company says that they will look at it. That means they have the private key of that wallets and they can recover that funds. It will be better to wait and give them some time.
The company said he need to meet an expert (e.g. lawyer, legal advisor etc) of course it's need a lot money to get help from them. It's different scenario as you said to wait, if the company able to recover it personally without an expert, why they need to tell him to meet the expert first?

Even the company has the private key, that doesn't mean they able to recover the coins. Take an example of Coinbase, centralized exchanges always have the customer private key. But when there's some people has a same case of send coin to wrong address, they said they can't recover it. If you don't believe me you can search it yourself in this forum.

it's retrievable only if the company intended to after all the privkey is on the company's. even if the company have any excuses i refuse to believe that they don't store the privkey because that's gonna be such an amateurish move so a big chance you could get your USDT again after all it's trc20.
however such company usually resolves problem very slowly so you need to always follow up your problem regularly.

The company is surely able to refund you, as long as you send USDT TRON on the same network I believe your money can still be recovered, you should always pay attention and double check before sending any coin to the address because these errors are very common and sometimes it is difficult to get the money back.
Most platforms put warnings before sending to the need to verify the address well, and some platforms provide a smart tool to ensure that the address belongs to the same network.

TRC20 is an asset on tron network and when you are sending this asset to the tron address and you will never lose your money. Your money stuck on the company's wallet. The result must be if you can get your money again. The company can recover your money and it's still there. You can even check the company 's address if you can still see your asset on that wallet.
Try to tell the company to check it again as soon as possible.

Let's just say that the company where you sent these coins by accident said or confirmed that the coin can be seen on their system and they promised you that they will return it to you then that's it no problem for you and you just have to give your address and have them send the amount to your wallet. In case you will wait a bit of a longer time then that is what you have to do as long as you have communication with them. Best of luck mate.

You said that in your title if you have sent TRC20 to the trx address and that can be recovered anytime as long as you are holding the private key. That company can recover your money and sent it back again to your wallet dude. It's clearly that if you are not losing your money dude. You must push em to give back your money even if it's your fault.

If the company supports that system, it will certainly supply it. However, when it comes to malicious intent, the other party often asks for such a transaction fee to send it, and offers options such as we can cover your loss in return. I had the same problem by sending ankr to the erc20 network by mistake over the bsc network. Under normal circumstances, every erc20 wallet automatically supports bsc network but. They ended up refusing me, saying that the other party demanded 0.10 bnb transaction fee. It is necessary to be careful while performing the operations. Hope you can get your money back.

Well, it depends on the company or project involved here. There are a lot of dishonest ones out there, but take it easy and follow them closely

Or is it that you're able to recover it already?

That's a mistake I've also made for as little as $100, and I seem to take it as a lesson for myself. In my opinion in your case it will depend on the exchange you are using, the problem can be solved or not, wish you will be able to get the money.

This is a costly mistake and getting back the funds will depend on many factors. First, if the platform or company supports the USDT TRC-20, then they might be able to send it back to the address it came from but if they don't support USDT TRC-20, it might be difficult for them to do so, also if they will it might cost you a fee, for their stress.
Nevertheless, if it is most exchanges or some platforms, they can be able to send it back, and also they might charge you a fee.
Your best bet is informing them and asking for updates, if they really want to, they will do so and if they don't want to, there is nothing you can do as they can claim ignorance of the transaction or find an excuse to cover it up, so just be calm and diligent when interacting with them.

It is posisble to recover nut technically if you send it by error then it depends on them if they want to return the money. If you unterchanged the words for the address then likely it is pushed on the network. Also probably what they meant on will try if can recover is either they are not sure how to return it to you since its complicated or they dont trust that you send the money and just needed some proof that its you who send it.

I think it depends whether the company supports usdt trc or not? because there are some companies that only support tron but not trc usdt. if the company supports both you don't have to worry

I wonder which company he mistakenly send the trx. Though the company will look into the other way to resolve that, he must update it from time to time so they can send it back or maybe the company will let the user to import it and will just guide him on how to settle this.

You don't have control over it, I myself had the same problem months ago, it was just a small amount, just $100, and the same thing was said to me, they are going to look at it.

Unfortunately, the next day, they made a U-turn, they can't recover it anymore and as much as I try to explain that it is recoverable on their end, they didn't do anything. So I would advise you, worst comes to worst, to consider it as lost money already. Sorry to burst the bubble for you.

Usually the addresses of trx and usdt trc 20 will be the same if you deposit on the exchange you want to use, because they are actually still on the same trc 20 network. and of course there should be no problem returning what is yours, but what company are you referring to? ?
