Prices will return to the 3000 level that people will start buying, which means seeing the next growth this year. Although many experts believe that by 2020 the cost of bitcoin will not be less than $ 45,000. Why do people say that if the etf is accepted then the bitcoin price will increase? I do not think the ETF will be SEC confirmed that they are simply playing at a bitcoin cost and they finally expect to pay back the cost so we do not need to think about the ETF endorsement. Actually I do not know what will happen if the ETF does not approve, the bitcoin price will fall or worse, but I hope and have a little positive that the ETF will be approved, the price of the bitcoin pump again and reached Be better off now.

Bitcoin seems to be rallying this month due to the high hopes associated with the SEC possibly agreeing with the pending ETFs.

I think I should be quite positive about VanEck-SolidX this time.

Do we send postcards to the SEC this month? Will it make any difference?

Everyone iin the cryptocurrency will be looking forward to this date. We all pray for it to be successful. We surely all know that anything positive for bitcoin is a plus for cryptocurrency. Let's hope the ETF is approved this time.

I don't think it will make any difference! Rather I think the result will be the same. SEC will reject ETF bitcoin application, as they did every time! I have no hope for this SEC announcement. This is not helpful except disaster! I think we should avoid SEC things.

I don't think ETF will get approved by SEC they were just playing with the bitcoin prices and in the end they will look to dump the prices again so we don't have to care but about ETF's approval this can help us to stay away from their trap.
I believe that btc will get approved by SEC ,especially now big financial institutions are doing everything humanly possible to get btc etf approved.
They may delay it but cannot deny it for a longer time.
At a point ,they won't have any genuine reason to give the world for not approving btc etf.

I heard that the ETF announcement would be postponed again until February but I didn't know it was true or not because there was a lot of news about it. I hope the news of Bitcoin ETF will help prices rise and if approved it will help the price return to $10,000

The whole ETF situation is just trying to mess with holders in order to sell off easily while they get in to acquire more assets. They claim to want to public participation in deciding whether ETF should be accepted or not and so far over 1400 comments is in support of it (https://www.coindesk.com/sec-seeks-more-input-as-it-weighs-vaneck-solidx-bitcoin-etf/), yet the final decision is still with them to make. It's high time we got our minds off the event of SEC and ETF for now.

Right now SEC announced that the ETF decision will be extended further by 60 days. And they are seeking opinions and comments on few questions on approval from the public. And they will review their decision by considering public comments and will announce the approval or denial in December.

I really hope they will grant it but honestly, I can't see that happening until we get some regulations first. However, this a good step forward to it.

I think that they won't approve it. I'm almost certain that they will keep buying time and postpone the ruling.
They still have time and they will want to extend the verification period to make the potential bear market last longer. If there's a lobby group influencing the sec, they also want to buy more cheap coins before ETF gets approved.

I'm not sure if they'll approve on September 30, but in the long term there're chances it'll be approved. As we'll know three out of five on the board of sec are pro bitcoins enthusiasts, they'll make sure to find a way to approve them. In the last hearings they said they were not filed properly, also there is a sudden wave of interest and optimism that it'll be approved, let's hope for the best.

I don't figure ETF will get endorsed by SEC they were simply playing with the bitcoin costs and at last they will hope to dump the costs again so we don't need to think yet about ETF's endorsement this can assist us with staying far from their trap.

I don't know, I think it's hopeless. They haven't taken etf before, so why should they change their mind now?
I agree. Why would they suddenly change their minds. In fact, time will show because it's hard to say anything.

I think it's a good time to buy Bitcoin right now due to the upcoming SEC ruling on 30th of September. In case it gets accepted it's gonna fly!

CoinCodex recently featured Bitcoin as #1 coin to watch this week due to the upcoming SEC ruling:

And as @pooya87, have said, price manipulation has took another turn. We all know that weak hands has left already specially newbie traders.

i'm not so sure about that. back in 2014 and 2015, the price slowly bled until weak hands capitulated in a high volume selloff at the bottom. this time around, we never saw a high volume capitulation (yet).

i think the weak hands are still with us. we'll see how it all plays out. Cheesy

We might see another postponement though. So it this happens expects the price to go deep again. Better prepare and make the necessary adjustments, so you won't get disappointed if SEC delays or reject another Bitcoin ETF proposal.

plan on it. the SEC spelled everything out---nothing is getting approved until the underlying market changes.

The SEC is not really considering any new applications, because they already came up with a good excuse to deny all applications. They do not want anyone to manipulate the Bitcoin price and this is what they are using as an excuse to deny all applications. So, until VanEck-SolidX or anyone else figure out how to prevent or to stop price manipulation, we will see the same excuse being used.

The only method to do this is to only use US exchanges to determine the price of the ETFs and no global exchanges.  Undecided

+1 to you.

Needed all your views on this and I feel that this is way it is gonna be.

Perhaps this will affect the cost of bitcoin a little, but I do not think it's worth waiting for a sharp increase in value. Although many experts argue that by 2020 the cost of bitcoin will not be less than $ 45,000
