Okay so the mobo is the part which is faulty.
Yeah if those slots are not working shown on the bios then you will be having issues with the rig no matter what power supply you are considering on using.

the issue consfued me , when i run my machine all slots is green mean is work
but never detecting the slot ( A05 + A06 + B08 + B11 + B12 + C17 + C18 )
i tried to install GPU to A05 this slot not work
mining mode enabled
above 4g enabled
tried to disable audio not work
Fast boot disabled
least bios version
Gen 1 and gen 2 and gen 3 and auto nothing work

i give up
this reddit post
https://www.reddit.com/r/gpumining/comments/i0h7qn/tried_all_slots_with_single_gpu_and_least_driver/

Again Asus want ship the mobo to US i will pay shipping cost + repair cost 35$ and + need to pay to ship new mobo or repaired to my home

buy new cheaper that above service

i think server PSU will help to use more or i stay with this mobo max gpu  12 GPU now using 8
and start over with server psu and setup

Sending back to asus? The motherboard or a graphics card? I cant understand most of what is being said sorry.
B250 does have 3 power supplies so just adding a cheap 550watter would do. They cost less than $58usd now. Just save all the hassle with possibly damaging your entire rig with these sever psus just like someone who was powering their vii 6 card with about a month ago on youtube. Bricked all but 2 of them.
But I see you were looking for help on reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/gpumining/comments/i5oekw/server_power_supply_80_platium_1200w_with_atx

slots ( A05 + A06 + B08 + B11 + B12 + C17 + C18 ) not work

A i can use 5 gpu only because 2 dead

B i can use only 3 GPU because 3 dead

C i can use 4 GPU 2 dead

Lmao this post you link is me commanderA1

Because mobo i will move to server psu

gpu mining mines alt coins and needs to be in altcoin mining.

You need to be sure you do not over clock the gpus.

If they all pull 130 watts you would be at 910 plus gpu and cpu and ram and fans say 90 total 1000.

I do not like rose will as I find they do burn out when pushed.

If you do 1000 watts that psu will fail in under a year.

I have mined with a lot of rose wills and 70% or less. is best for them.
so you want to pull about 840-900 watts with it not 1000.

i just checked the pinout and it does 12 pin pcie jacks.  they are more subject to over heating.

I would run six cards not seven.

It is single rail which is easier to mine with.
Why not put the 7th card directly on the motherboard into the open pciex16 slot?
Wouldn't this free up some of the wattage being drawn from an additional riser cable?
I hear dthey can reach upto 50-60 watts. But at this wattage running 24/7 on this small cable, those sata connections are turning from yellow to black and giving off a strange odor at this point.

I create this post to ask Y 6 pin to dual 6+2 cable 18 AWG x1 to power riser
x1 to GPU i feel not best way

and personally i have bad mobo still contacting Asus first they reply me to ship the item to them mean i pay $
and next repair cost 35$ they said

and Asus not ship to out of US that mean i need to use carrier shop and ship etc,,,, will pay too
So $+35+$ = unkown price for sure is over 150$ now the shipping cost increase to 90% cos Covid-19
buy new motherbaord CHEAPER
read why

A have x7 slot but i have A05 + A06 is never work and not detecting GPU whatever AMD or nvidia single GPU test
so A i can use 5 GPU only

the B x3 not work B08 + B11 + b12
i can use 3 GPU

C 2 not work C17 + C18

what did ?

Corsair PsU plugged to A AUX will power everything in mobo and can use A and B total x8 GPU

The C AUX i have plugged Rosewill PSU now running x4 GPU x3 570 x1 1060

A using x1 5700 x3 580 ( have free slot on A can use x5 gpu and 580 on the way coming soon )

when plug A AUX its cover B slot i tried GPU's work on A and B no issues

That mean , when 580 delivered i will try it again to x3 B
if worked ? i can buy another GPU for x3 B but i will buy one by one because some mobo limited gpu
if i buy and not work i will replace 1060 to the new GPU 5700 or 580 ( thinking )

Short answer 1 psu: A+B = 8 GPU
another PSU only C 4 GPU

Or simply run less gpus save the cost of a new psu. See how 5 or 6 gpus do earning money.

Vs spending 100 -200 more for a second psu which can be easy to mis-wire.

If 5 work well and earn profit. he can add his last 2 with a lessor psu like this one.

this can run 4 gpus. so he can offload some from the rosewill   maybe do 3 with the rosewill and 4 with the hp psu

trust me the rosewill would rather do   600  watts then  840

use 2 wires to the gpu and 1 wire to the pcie board.
then use the data cable to plug in the mobo.
3  pcie wires per gpu   and a data cable to the mobo.  this isolates the 2 psu's and no shorts.

Hello again

Sorry for this post

I want tell you something confused me with your links

First of all now i have 2 PSU

and want buy third for mobo b250 mining
and i really want buy server PSU with breakout board
but my mobo require to install AUX 24pin to run each PSU
i not find ANYTHING can help here

i have very simple question
1- breaKout board how to know the best to buy?
2- i wish you give me link or name of AUX to use with server power supply to install to my mobo

The GPUs consumes around 20-35% of their power from the PCIe slot, and the rest from the 8-6pin connectors, therefore if you put all risers in one PSU and the rest on the other PSU, the load between them will be quite unbalanced.

The best would be to use 6 GPUs (both top connectors and risers) + motherboard in one PSU and the other 6 GPUs in the other PSU. Also make sure that the PSUs are below 75% load as philipma1957 suggested. This is true for any PSU if you want them to last.

So , 2 PSU with this mobo is fine then ?

https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/B250-MINING-EXPERT/

I read the manual say can 3 PSU , but i want make sure before buying anything

So do you tried 2 PSU same mobo ?

yes i have but you must wire correctly.

you need to isolate the psu’s from each other.

a pcie riser can do this for you.

that's fine per Rig 6 GPU i will do that

but do i need to buy new PSU or buy new PC mobo + ram + PSU?
Total 12 GPU

first rig 6 GPU
second Rig 6 GPU

Or buy new PSU for my Motherboard ?

Personally, I'm not a fan of mining rigs with more than 6 GPUs using risers, but since you are staring, you could just use the motherboard you have with one more PSU until you learn all you want to learn and decide what to do going forward

Yep i guess how . i have now Asus mining mobo
but have question here ,

Example
My power supply A will use it to power  ALL my x7 Riser by pcie cable
and my power supply B For all my GPU's x7.

So Rosewell power supply for the Risers
Evga power supply for GPU's

have issues here ?

Software power readings are not accurate. Do not trust it. 70-80W is actually 100-120W before the PSU, not even at the wall. It is very important to measure power with something, even cheap power meter plugs are better than software, and it is quite important to know the power consumption of your GPUs, specially if you are close to the PSU limit.

I agree with everything that philipma1957 said, and I would also put 6 GPUs per rig, specially with a 1200W PSU.

x3 580 8gb riser ( like image above ) in amd software  x1 78w + x1 83w + x1 80w
x3 570 8gb riser ( like image above ) in amd software 92w + 90w + 91w

All riser 580's 570's and 1060
Total 719w / 720w

now Time 2;48 hours

719 of that 1200 watt psu should be okay.

check once or twice everyday.

let us know how well it keeps doing.

A followup would be nice. As many rosewills don’t like doing 75% 24/7/365

but you are at 60% so I think you are good.

My rig Freeze double time , because core voltage gpu 5700
still adjustment until full test OC is not light work , i will talk you this week next few days when it 24h no issues ,

No, use PSU A to power MB and x3 GPU risers and pcies, then PSU B the other GPUS risers and pcies. Power A first, then B.

Either use an 'add to PSU' connector to link the two, or simply short the MB connector on psu B and switch it on second.

That way if your two PSUs outputs vary at all, it won't be your gpus in the middle.

How many PSUs do you have and their 12v rail power rating?
only 1 psu . not sure about rail , but is platium 1200w

How many GPUs do you have and their power consumption or model?
x7 GPU , x3 570 8gb , x3 580 8gb , x1 5700 , ( have nvidia 1060 6gb too )
let's talk about  x7 GPU
Forget the wires, you don't even have enough juice to stably power those 7GPUs.
I'd recommend adding another PSU to power the other three GPUs, plus you wont be needing those splitters.

There are a lot of guides in the internet on how to setup multiple PSU rig.

example ,

I have power A will use all pcie for GPU

i buy second power B , i will use this power only for power Riser

So , power supply A for GPU's , Power supply B for only Riser ,
My mobo Asus b250 mining ( can 3 powers )
is fine ?
