Dogecoin can possibly blast later on yet it doesn't imply that it is smarter to exchange your bitcoin to dogecoin which is bitcoin has a preferable chance to acquire benefit over Dogecoin. Bitcoin has a fixed inventory while Dogecoin is an obscure number of provisions because of the continuation of mining on it, maybe this could be the motivation behind why Dogecoin didn't outperform other altcoins, for example, XRP or BCH, due to the stock that continues to deliver.

I have some DOGE, received from faucets. Not much just around 500.

After the increase in the transaction fees of BTC, I have thought of converting my BTC and LTC to DOGE for the transactions and keep them as DOGE. On the second thought, I thought of converting my DOGE to LTC and keep.

I have gone through some articles about DOGE's future price and I got some 50-50 opinions. I discussed with my friend and he suggested me to hold till mid-2021, I can't say why till mid-2021.

It's true that many sites have started accepting DOGE, thus it is getting popular so there is a chance that the price may increase. Still, my knowledge says there are certain loopholes like there is no upper limit in mining DOGE and it is still much easier to mine compared to others. In short, the demand & cost curve is a bit of a failure here. Though one can't say what might happen after 20 years.

Here I want some expert advice on this. Whether it is a good idea to convert and hold or keep my DOGE reserve constant.

As a trader, of course, you understand when the time is right for you to make the decision to buy, hold or sell the altcoins you have. but in the case of Dogecoin right now, I personally also have a little doubt whether to hold or sell it at the current price of 0.043, because it seems that the price of Doge coin has reached its ATH several times in the last month and now Dogecoin has also reached its highest price peak so it is very there is a risk if you have to hold Dogecoin for too long, because the price may suddenly fall.

yes you should hold the doge, because doge has the potential to rise high, look at the next few days.  Doge's price is going to go crazy again.  The doge community is very strong so I'm sure the doge will fly high, if you have more funds you better buy a doge and hold it.
Will it not be risky? because Doge also has a very large supply and very rarely stays at high prices for a long duration, it is currently looking very good because the potential to rise at high prices is still there, but it also has no small risk.
The supply is too large and the price is abnormally high, a very obvious manipulation of the market with Dogecoin, all have indicated that we should avoid this coin if we haven't invested yet or if we have invested and got a return but fearful of taking profits too soon, phased and partial profit taking is a method that should be used. Dogecoin is like you said, it has temporary sublimation periods as it is now but in the end, that sublimation will soon end and bury some people who are too trusting and naive in investing, taking profits has never been wrong in this market

Saving doge coins is very good, but with the summary that you give as if to have your doge sell btc to doge it's a wrong idea every time doge moves up there must be a large investor who buys that coin looking from the back there is no value, I'm not sure 100% doge will last long with high prices likely in the future the doge will boom I can't believe it before that happens before our eyes

We have our own opinions about what could be the future of DOGE crypto, many believes that this was a meme crypto which got fame mainly because Elon Musk shill The cryptocurrency. However we can make our own speculations about it because DOGE was been here in crypto world for a years and maybe Elon Musk are shilling it because he has a hidden agenda about it. But whatever it is, if i were you, i would still choose Bitcoin than Doge. I trusted Bitcoin more than Doge.

If at that time you converted bitcoins to buy Doge, of course you are now a billionaire bro, but I suggest you now leave Doge because it will be more comfortable if you stay in bitcoin

Observing the market I got the impression that DOGE is not a project for HODL. This is a project for trading, for manipulation. On a day, it can grow and fall by 100%, on it you can both earn and lose. Be careful and follow the news (such as tweets by Elon Musk and others).
some say DOGE is a MEME coin. this coin will boom when an event makes it viral. we've seen it happen several times. it doesn't even just happen to DOGE. but specifically for DOGE, we have seen how the lowest price is and the current price. how about an unlimited supply of coins. we must consider it if we are to hold it for long.

I think it's a risky investment. It is very difficult for a coin whose price rises only due to twitter or different manipulations to be a long-term investment. Anything can happen at any time and you may see a huge drop in price. Too many investors have made enough money, community support may end after a while.
It won't fly, i don't think so Smiley

I don't think that Dogecoin is good for hodling especially it is just make as meme coin and doesn't really have use at all but it is better if you will just hodl it short term or do scalping because I guess in that way you will earn a good amount of profit by trading or scalping in just a short period of time.

Doge is a meme coin and no real use case. People have fun pumping it but that is not always the case. Doge has a billion supplies and imagine if you are to buy Doge today and it gets dumped. No one knows when will you see Doge at the same price as today. You can buy it when the price at it's lowest and hold until there is hype.

For me Doge coin is only an old coin that is booming recently and cannot last long at a high price, now BTC is also up again so it is becoming the most popular in crypto, my suggestion is that you keep only half of your doge coins from your assets because there are many other coins which has great potential in the future for both the long and short term
I also have the same opinion as you, I see Dogecoin is only temporary hype played by the whales.
If anyone wants to invest in Dogecoin, my advice is to buy only 10% of the total portfolio you have. Because if more than 10% it is feared that the Dogecoin is not pumped by the whales again and you will lose very long, while the bull market has started.
Be careful when something is been hyped up, you wouldnt know on whats coming.Recently this coin had been pumped up and if you do able to buy earlier
then its just right or worth for you to secure profits and then buyback when this coin do dip its price.Rinse and repeat and this is much more safer
if you are really aiming on making money and the rest will really be just depending on you.Investment decisions will really mattering of own risk
management, if you do saw or do have that gut that this will increase even more then its your choice.

Just be sure that you are aware on the possible dump or making yourself get caught in the middle of this hype.So there's always the possibility.

Dogecoin is only for short term my experts says but it’s a massive scam. Price will rise through the day then they whales will dump when they are happy, making thousands while the little man loses out. Same happened with XRP the other night, don’t fall for it.  Try bitcoin, etherium or BNb

I can't say that it is a massive scam because doge has been here for years and years already. However, we don't know if there is active development going on in this project, which I believe, they don't have.  Doge is mostly used for transfer purposes by traders because of its cheap fees involved. But for long term holding, I don't think doge qualifies for that, my opinion though. For me, it is better to hold btc long term than doge. But of course, I still used doge from time to time especially when I transfer coins from one exchange to another.

That becomes something that should be considered as a good coin to be estimated yet everybody ought not place the entirety of their cash into the doge coin. There are such countless whales realize that if there's no advancement for doge and individuals should go leave from the doge market when it was getting pumped.
This time doge is pumping hard because of the elon musk tweets and there are good opportunities for a more fundamental pump soon as well and I accept that Doge can succeed

Shall I say DOGE is as old as BTC and ETH. I also earned some Doge from mining and faucets back in those days. It is an advantage to hold your DOGE.Already, DOGE is a long term coin just like Bitcoin. In my opinion, don't sell. You won't regret holding for more years. But DYOR

Its have no development progress, no vision, no max supply. Only have community strength behind it, i dont think DOGE have any advantage to be hold for the long term.
Unless there's a lucky moment like this happen again.

Historically, Doge is not just a coin today, it has a story that touches the entire crypto industry. The coin is steadily increasing in price although it does not have a product.

DOGE has been a wild crypto to these days because of Elon Musk hypes and tweets. But I think what matters to me is that DOGE has been there for quite a long time even before a lot of cryptocurrencies. And even for years that it was silent and its like a sleeping crypto, there are individuals who keeps on supporting it through (holding, trading - daytrading, faucet) and that makes it more interesting. What actually give values to a coin is the law that we called supply and demand. And as long as there is demand, price of DOGE will always be interesting especially now that the richest man in the world hypes for it.
