Its a personal decision to invest in ICO or IPO but I think ICOs are now replaced by IEOs due to scam activities and these IEOs are performing very well.

Should or should not invest - it's up to you to decide. Think with your head.
And how to make an investment, you can, as a rule, read on the website of the project you are interested in (or find a tutorial in their social networks, or ask them in the chat).

Everybody should know him or herself but still you can think that giving your opinion can have value. This is a project that is interesting, but investing more time is always worth the time.

It is also a question of preference and if you are willing to get involved with cryptocurrencies on a deeper level.

Lyft, Pinterest, Zoom, Uber… these are the big names went to IPOs recently.
It seems IPOs are roaring back, especially compared with the freezing winter for ICOs. Shall I invest in these initial offerings? If so, how?

It depends, do you know anything about investing? Have you researched those projects and did your due diligence? Do you have the right mentality and are willing to wait for a few years for your investments to give you profits? Are you willing to lose money in those investments if things do not turn out as expected? If you can answer to all of those questions positively then you could invest in those projects otherwise I will recommend that you do not do it.

Why ask us? It's completely up to you. I'm pretty sure it's not as easy to invest in an IPO though, as you'd have to register with a brokerage firm as far as I know. The process probably depends on what country you're in.

ICOs though? I don't think ICOs should even be considered nowadays.
When it comes to investment it isnt really bad to ask from others but basing on the question its clear that which one is really worthy to be tried
for IPO's it isnt really that easy to invest and we all know that for now ICO's are going instinct due to IEO existence. lol

ICOs are recently taken oven by IEOs. IEOs are performing too good these days also. IPOs are more regulated then ICOs and there are lesser chances of scam involve.

Well, yes, and this aligns the entire market quite well. Look at the market going to the top. So you can say about this. I am in charge of conducting such projects.

I think better joined and invest your money in ICO than IPOs because many ICOs have higher price after listing at great exchange market and you will know which one the best investment kinds for your assets.
The IPO is really not something too hot and ICO is the same. now I am only interested in IEO projects supported by large exchanges like Binance, Huobi or Okex. all will make rich investors buy a token. But the amount that we have to hold is huge. That is a big cons.
but if we want to be safe, we can invest in quite good exchange such as IDAX, Coineal, Gate.io, Bibox, ... there, IEO projects are really quite good.

Either its IPO ,ICO ,IEO or STO I think what should matter to you shouldn't be the kind of fundraising the project is trying to use ,you should depend entirely on what the project is trying to offer

You shall invest in initial offering and you can try to visit cryptorank to get the latest data about how much return that already brought by the latest ico in this year. There was a lot of information about the upcoming IEO or ICO too.
IPO is dead but anytime this will be the year for ICO. Don't invest in IPO but ico or ieo should be your choice.

Your money is your responsibility, you should take your own choice without outsider influences.
IEO is better than ICO i think, why don't you search for good IEO in some exchanges ? Always do your own research before investing.

ICO is not considered good investment these days, most of it are just copycat of another. also it's mostly short term, after u profit in one u need to find another and so on and so on. Better to invest in IPO or STO backed by good company which is IPO with less regulation

The answer is simple.  If you want to avoid possible scam, then choose IPO, at least this is regulated and have legalities in its part.  If you do not care and just wanted convenience then ICO is easier to invest in.  But no matter what your choice is, just make sure to dyor on each option.  Btw, why not look at IEO.  It is much better than ICO in some ways since developers are verified by the exchange  where they will hold their IEO.

Haven't seen an IPO for a long time now because the last time that I saw one is with bitmain and the other ones was during 2016. The time when ICO is starting to boom but IPOs didn't.
Invest if you think if its suitable to you but don't invest if you think its not. IMO, you shouldn't invest with them anymore.

ICOs are not regulated like IPOs. Doing an IPO requires a lot from those businesses. Everything has to undergo due diligence. Literally anyone can do an ICO with utility tokens. Be careful with those.

I personally  doesn't know much about these IPOs but have heard people say a lot about IPOs. Considering the scam activities, I will say that IPOs are less scam activities than ICO.
