I wanted to go to a show and no one wanted to go with me. It was free too :/

Why didn't you go by yourself? And what band?

I honestly have nothing to complain about today. Earned some money, had a drink, made some food - family around all day and not a single major argument. Nice and relaxed day. As much as I hate Christmas, I've been in a really good mood for about a week.

I just microwaved some veg soup, took it out, started to stir it, then a bit of potato or something violently exploded and sent soup flying everywhere - my face, hair, all over the floor and worktop. Never happened to me before, but sometimes it does in the actual microwave.

A bit of potato exploded?
How the hell can a bit of potato explode from heat?
I would understand a whole potato but a bit of potato should be able to store enough heat to actually explode.
Either way , get a new microwave

Potatoes and veg can explode because the water in them turns to steam and needs to escape; hence explosion.

Nothing wrong with the microwave.

That's why I said I'm amazed you said a piece of potato.
For the steam to accumulate it needs to be if not the entire vegetable at least a big piece .
I've tried blowing up bell peppers in the microwave or in the oven , and that wasn't the best idea around.

I think it was a bit of potato. Potatoes are notorious for exploding, that's why you're meant to stab the bastards repeatedly with a fork.

First off, my parents sent me 40$ and I got some food.

Second, I found a place that takes BTC as payment so I could've gotten some take out. Thank you, google.

you should eat on a budget.. get frozen burritos for 50 cents apiece, and maybe some ramen noodles. $40 could last you 2 weeks maybe  Cheesy

I do have a job so I don't need to buy crap food just its bi-weekly and I don't use a bank. I'm kind of screwed on bills but I'll deal with it when it comes. I just cashed my checked and had all the cash in my wallet. I feel like an idiot. Ugh. I'm so screwed this month.

I'm basically just buying cereal, milk, rice, beans, vegetables, pasta, and sauce. Nothing special :/

why don't you bank? go with a federal credit union, i don't think there is usually a limit and no monthly charges.

I am fucked for my bills this month though. I just cashed my check and I don't use banks so basically all my money was in that wallet. I'll just have to figure something out for this stuff.

Luckily I buy gifts throughout the year for people. Shipping them in going to be a nightmare.

it happened sunday morning in the AM but here goes -

so i was cycling home and saw a poor distressed cat that i recognized as one of the neighbors, so i jumped off my bike to see the poor thing was okay and it really seemed terrified(i know it's not meant to be on the street). So give it a minute or two on the street with the small cat, turn around and some f**k had stolen my bike and cycled off......

Moral of the story, dont pick up your neighbors cute daughter or someone will steal your bike.

im curious, if someone actually did send her $5 worth of bitcoins, how could she actually procure food in a timely manner? localbitcoins is a killer and she would likely have to wait days before selling her BTC to someone in her local area... coinbase, well.. aside from charging 1% + 15 cents, she'd have to wait 4 days for a the transfer to her checking account.

Well probably because food = drugs and you can buy drugs off Silk Road. You can buy pizza over here with Bitcoins on takeaway.com.
