Its name shitcoin speaks to the value of the project, a shitcoin project because it's useless and developed by greedy people. People will never invest in such a currency no matter how polished it is.
I doubt it that they will do something like this. If they have already a process of redoing projects and earn huge amount of money by just simply doing it, they don't have the urgency to unite and create something useful for the community.

Why wouldn't they? My firm opinion is that they simply don't know all the things that are going on in this space. Keeping up has been like a full time job for few years. How can you be a small developer team and keep up with all the new implementations and functions all the time? It's impossible. Also you can't rely on cryptonews because at least half of the articles are sponsored shilling.

Yes, if the project team only copies ideas from the old project without new things to introduce, then they will not develop and will even die halfway, because everyone will not believe in such a project again at this time.

Most of these Shitcoins have nothing to contribute to the space but to just scam people of their money, just look at the trend since 2016, what these people jump on is the next thing in vogue, fork a working project code and add one or two thing to it. Just look at the coinmarketcap.com, we have more than 2000 projects and still counting but most are just carbon copy of the order

yes, maybe it happened because the project developers themselves were unable to manage their projects or were unable to develop their coins according to the project work map. there are lots of shitcoins and were born from the erc20 platform. many developers no longer care about the projects they have launched and eventually over time the tokens die, have no investors, no real usage etc.

Yeah, I am counting on that too. I hope both devs and investors have by now learned what it takes to make something truly decentralized and P2P and backed with real value. Shitcoins including Bitcoin are just money backed with money and they can not self-sustain value with producing an algorithm that has not external demand. This is why I would use a Proof-of-Bandwidth algorithm, which I call "the real Proof-of-Work" because it mines a commodity that's in high and constantly increasing demand. What could go wrong?

It is not news that 80% or perhaps 90% of alltcoins are shit coins; and then it makes me wonder for what reasons you want them to unite? is it for blockchain reasons or what? How can you unite 3 or more different platforms into one, which can sometimes be of different blockchain ?

This is just ridiculous. Shitcoins are called so, because they are dead. Far from what you said, they don't have any active developers working on them. Because chances are very low that a cryptocurrency would die out, if the developers are working hard. In many cases, the same team is behind dozens of different coins and once a coin is dead, they will move on to another.
Those that do not upgrade are obviously dead. Those that do upgrade and fix their issues are still in the game. Ethereum is the best example of this. It would be dead if it wouldn't have fixed all its issues during the last two years. Now Ethereum 2.0 is launching with the scalability issue fixed.

Easy for you to say, but as developer hearing their project, do you think they will be at ease being mocked their project as shitcoin?
I cant say newer project can go to this extent but honestly I almost agree to a moratorium if those shitcoin could be turn off for good. Why not cleanse the market to have a better perspective from the investors?
Instead of launching their own, why not collaborate and combined knowledge, funds, and any ideas worth to do than selflessly trying hard right?

Sure I think there's probably no point to criticize and mortify anyone unless you have some better suggestions. The reason why Shitcoins do not hold value is that their algorithm has no external demand. The demand for the algorithm comes only from the own network. Things can not self-sustain value without external demand from the market economy.
Some team willingly build shitcoins for quick gains and some projects just failed because of incapable of the team, those projects that failed because of lack of professionalism can still rise up but not those that was build from scratch to be shitcoins all for the sake of money making
The team that voluntarily builds shitcoin to get a quick profit is a very stupid team, because in the long run they will not last long in crypto, especially if someone already knows about it when the project is run by them, and some projects that fail also can still be in build it in a different way, as long as the team wants to do it so that their tokens are not considered shitcoin by the public.

Yeah, and some of them are really bad at their habits, example of this was INGOT Coin. They shut their projects one before, then came up with a new team and a new features but still they didn't continue the shitty whole thing, such a waste IMO, the whole damned plan was ruined for they think its better to scam on the first place.They really didn't think of the benefits coming from the future. LoL.
This is the reason why I hate new altcoins. It's really useless to support them.
I think almost all new altcoin projects are useless and only take the opportunity for them to generate from the sales they have marketed, never mind the new altcoin loop is more focused on old projects that are already going well,
Like INGOT Coin and other projects that are running with it all closed because they were not successful with their plans so what should I hope for? and it will not last long, only stopping briefly in the market and then there is no value.
I think some of new altcoin projects might actually be something potential because there are experienced people now who actually know how different features make them perform. The early altcoins are just copies of Bitcoin bringing little to nothing new to the table. Except like Ethereum which created the shitcoin megastorm with its ERC20 token. Now that shitcoin storm has calmed and people are really thinking what are the features of a truly advanced cryptocoin?
