Hi,

I have no experience short selling but I debate shorting now. Good idea? Anyone with experience? BTC seems overbought...
Short-term trading will now be a wise decision. When the market suddenly falls and the price of these altcoins suddenly becomes cheaper, the price of these small altcoins will be easy to grow. We should invest in the new altcoins listed on the floor to get more profit. The new altcoins are often pumped very strongly.

When the market is on the red zone, better to stay still and watch the market responses.
I think the downtrend will keep happening until the end of the year and will start growing up new year 2019
But if you're really observant, you can earn profit in short term , it's just a matter of guts and luck !

Reset your priorities in this bearish market, and try for a second to take your mind off earning huge profits, itll help you ease the tension and the anxiety that comes with this period in the market..

If you bought for 5000 or so, if you sell now you'll be losing about 1800,its so much of a loss, if you hodl on,it could drop further meaning if you sell then you'll lose more than you'll lose now..

But the fact still remains you'll lose, isnt it clear now as its been said a thousand times already that the most rational step to take now is to be patient and hodl, and even purchase more bitcoins now it's a wee bit cheap.

It's quite funny how the mass manages to be wrong time on time again. They bought the peak near the end of last year and sold--likely will sell the bottom near the end of the current year.

At some point you should expect people to follow common sense and to see where they go wrong, but nope, they keep burning themselves chasing quick profits. This market literally trashes these folks.

A colleague of mine was EXTREMELY bullish weeks before the price tanked below $6000 and now suddenly thinks Bitcoin is going to fall to $1500 because "experts" said so. Smh.....

BTC seems overbought...
Overbought when the price has already crashed from $20,000 to $3200?  Dude, you seriously need to reevaluate your definitions of financial terms.  At this point I'd consider bitcoin oversold, and if you sell it short now you might be in for a hell of a lot of pain and anxiety.  You might make money doing so if it were to fall to something like $2000 and you shorted a significant amount of it, but I would suggest doing the exact opposite.  Now is the time to buy in my opinion.  Smart traders generally don't begin their short-selling when an asset has already taken an extreme beating unless they're fairly confident that what they're shorting is doomed.

Sears stock would have been smart to short when it was at $10, because it was clear to everyone that the company was headed for bankruptcy, and when it was at that price it had already fallen by a huge amount.  But bitcoin?  Nah, now's not the time to sell it short.  It's not headed for zero like most of the shitcoins--and remember, when you sell something short, your losses are limited only by how high the price can go.  If bitcoin suddenly rebounded and headed toward a new ATH, you'd be totally screwed and would have to cover your short position as soon as you could and you'd be doing it at an enormous loss.  Just don't do it.

trading as no guarantee if you invest money by thinking then you will definitely lose , we should invest money by analyzing and by calculating risks if you think that markets will go even low who know this might be the  bottom and you will risk your investments

There is no accurate technical analysis in cryptos my friend. Anything can happen to the BTC price in the next 24 hours. It's purely based on hope, manipulation and speculation.
Luckily the BTC price is now volatile once again. Just notice the sudden deeps, Where the price seems to have settled up a bit is where you make an entry and set your sell target( not so high of course) To me 2-5% gains is enough in this bearish market because if you try to be greedy, You will loose everything.
Also never forget to set a stop-loss in case the price doesn't rise to your expectation.
