It's going to be a way for the cryptocurrencies to be more adapted by normal people (meaning not tech savvy people). I agree that the transaction fees now are really high compared to the previous times, it was just like 10k satoshis back then. Now it's really hard to get back what you sent just with the fees but seeing the price go up means that it's going stronger.

Yes, Bitcoin will still remain and will not be disappear just because of a little problem of it like the transaction fees. Bitcoin has future and I believe on it. Even its value right now is low it will increase soon. We just have to wait for it. Bitcoin is now powerful and this may lead in to a good future of it.

Bitcoin was not used by many people back then because the Digital Currency was pretty new to the scene. Certain people in specific countries and especially Asia has witness their money being scammed because of MLM’s plus the other fake Digital Currency systems that people are building up over the years –that makes investing in Bitcoin a little skeptical since they will lose their money investing in nothing.

Bitcoin is making a little bit of progress and the people who try to scam with their own Digital Currencies are recognized as a suspicious entity a lot easier.

A few years ago there was the doubt in the minds of many people if Bitcoin would really be recognized worldwide, and that was one of the reasons why Bitcoin was so cheap. But now, it's easy to see that there are people who find strong use cases for it, especially in countries like India and Venezuela.

yes you are right that the price of bitcoin is just a reflection of the progress and development of bitcoin because if somebody want to see the bitcoin development it will be enough for him to see the price of bitcoin and this price of bitcoin is made by the users of bitcoin, the investors , the miners and the support of all these people.

There are even more countries that are going to get higher demand of bitcoin. And if you believe that bitcoin doesn't have any future then you are just making yourself to get out of bitcoin. The future of bitcoin is really big because many are going to like when they will see the price of bitcoin pumping and flying up to the moon.

It is not only because of the value of bitcoin but also the support of the people for bitcoin and also the miners who are maintaining the market and also the network of bitcoin by confirming transactions and so on. Bitcoin price is just a reflection of what is the progress and development of bitcoin and we should not be focused on that "price only".

Now that I've gotten your attention, I promise there's a method to my madness. We've all been arguing over Bitcoin XT and (now) Bitcoin Classic while ignoring that there's a real world outside of Bitcointalk and the endless schemes to get more Bitcoin. In the grand scheme of things, it's not even really all that important whether Bitcoin stands a chance of destroying traditional banks as long as Bitcoin or whatever replaces Bitcoin if it stumbles can carve out its own niche. But we're marching toward a world where things are going to be moving pretty fast in matters that don't necessarily have to do with economics and finances, except for maybe who's going to be holding the moneybags. Is it going to be us, or is it going to be the big banks, or is it going to be some Third World tyrant who may have gotten a little too big for his britches and doesn't have a graceful way out? What I'm getting at here is, are we absolutely sure we're making all the right strategic moves to make sure cryptocurrencies have a meaningful, sustainable future instead of just being seen as a funny little gimmick that went the way of Beanie Babies in a few decades? Should we be making alliances with other up-and-coming, innovative technologies to make sure we can achieve our long-term goals? This is something we'll have to consider if we want Bitcoin to have any kind of a future.
