Time will tell - 99% of the people on this forum hope so.  

i  also think that signature campaign has a bright future. the knowledge about bitoicn is spreading among the people. they are investing their legal money in bitcoin. the price of bitcin is increasing day by day. i am hopeful that bitcion will remain stable after halving.

I would even say that Bitcoin is a future Look at % growth monthly,and now look at other currencies.
See the difference? if something can make growth like that,it needs to has future.Im curious about times when whole btc pool is going to be mined

yes i also agree with you . i think bitocin has a very bright future. as more and more people are entering in the world of bitocin. i think the up commin g halving will effect the position of bitocin. i am hopeful that the prices will not be effect by the halving.

I too believe on this. It should have a future as long as it can. More should experience the benefits of it. Even the next generation should fully use them as their currency. Lets hope for it.

Bitcoin have a good future... Now a days paper money are expensive to print and have a threat that people may stole that....but bitcoins are safe.... Daily new user are using bitcoins so it has a good future and its market is growing and growing

Now that I've gotten your attention, I promise there's a method to my madness. We've all been arguing over Bitcoin XT and (now) Bitcoin Classic while ignoring that there's a real world outside of Bitcointalk and the endless schemes to get more Bitcoin. In the grand scheme of things, it's not even really all that important whether Bitcoin stands a chance of destroying traditional banks as long as Bitcoin or whatever replaces Bitcoin if it stumbles can carve out its own niche. But we're marching toward a world where things are going to be moving pretty fast in matters that don't necessarily have to do with economics and finances, except for maybe who's going to be holding the moneybags. Is it going to be us, or is it going to be the big banks, or is it going to be some Third World tyrant who may have gotten a little too big for his britches and doesn't have a graceful way out? What I'm getting at here is, are we absolutely sure we're making all the right strategic moves to make sure cryptocurrencies have a meaningful, sustainable future instead of just being seen as a funny little gimmick that went the way of Beanie Babies in a few decades? Should we be making alliances with other up-and-coming, innovative technologies to make sure we can achieve our long-term goals? This is something we'll have to consider if we want Bitcoin to have any kind of a future.

Bitcoin is still young and it's very open to adoption but it needs more development because there are still problems with bitcoin such as the transaction confirmation speeds. It's not very convenient for all of us but this problem will most probably be fixed.

It obviously has a bright future, it is infant currently and still growing slowly, getting a larger user base day-by-day.

as long as the user still has bitcoin, then bitcoin will live and have the potential but to get users that much at least we need bitcoin prices are high? so many people would be interested. if the value of bitcoin low I'm not sure bitcoin could develop. because very few people are interested

Yes that true, even my self is wondering if bitcoin have a future when i start using it in 2014, But until now it is still capable of earning money,Its just bitcoin has a great future cause there have a great projects

I think it was inevitable because bitcoin have a reward limit or the amount of the share in mining. I don't know how many percent bitcoin already in mine but it seems to have more than 30% and will likely need a few more years until all the reward already in mine.
I don't know what will happen to bitcoin after that
