Someday mined bitcoin will run out. So what will be its use? Commodity is the best solution. Make it as one, besides it is like gold that have been mined and miners spend a lot of time for it and also money. It should stay.

that someday is so far away and you are comparing the situation of the far future with the current price.

the price can rise so the fees+the small block reward can give enough money to miners to continue operating in the future.

Are you a miner? Just asking. Do we know what the future brings? What if the future have the same price as it is now or will just stay at the same level. We dont really know that right?
I think it was inevitable because bitcoin have a reward limit or the amount of the share in mining. I don't know how many percent bitcoin already in mine but it seems to have more than 30% and will likely need a few more years until all the reward already in mine.
I don't know what will happen to bitcoin after that

Now that I've gotten your attention, I promise there's a method to my madness. We've all been arguing over Bitcoin XT and (now) Bitcoin Classic while ignoring that there's a real world outside of Bitcointalk and the endless schemes to get more Bitcoin. In the grand scheme of things, it's not even really all that important whether Bitcoin stands a chance of destroying traditional banks as long as Bitcoin or whatever replaces Bitcoin if it stumbles can carve out its own niche. But we're marching toward a world where things are going to be moving pretty fast in matters that don't necessarily have to do with economics and finances, except for maybe who's going to be holding the moneybags. Is it going to be us, or is it going to be the big banks, or is it going to be some Third World tyrant who may have gotten a little too big for his britches and doesn't have a graceful way out? What I'm getting at here is, are we absolutely sure we're making all the right strategic moves to make sure cryptocurrencies have a meaningful, sustainable future instead of just being seen as a funny little gimmick that went the way of Beanie Babies in a few decades? Should we be making alliances with other up-and-coming, innovative technologies to make sure we can achieve our long-term goals? This is something we'll have to consider if we want Bitcoin to have any kind of a future.

of course bitcoin has no future. bitcoin is still very young and very potential bitcoin bitcoin over time continue to get a lot of users and it is key to the development of bitcoin

It has no future? Are you trying to say that it does?
It obviously has a bright future, it is infant currently and still growing slowly, getting a larger user base day-by-day.

As quoted by above mate, bitcoin has a very bright future. Bitcoin has experienced various negative statements and overcome those and reached high as well survived long compared to other digital currencies.

Well yes of course, definitely. But we have to take a few things into a consideration. Not everyone will be using cryptocurrency or bitcoin even if so hat happens that we adapt to the new digital platform

IMHO there will still be a lot of people using the paper money or it will take a lot of time, which, if you think about it, is completely a random event which highly unlikely about to happen.

I dont think bitcoins have a bright future because there are allot of people who dont believe in the bitcoin anymore.
And as you can see the price of the bitcoin is allready go that low with 100 dollar in a couple of days maybe i understand them now.

Bitcoin will never go back to $100 in future and if you think that bitcoin do not have a good future ahead then why are you wasting your time here, find some other way to earn money.

Of course it does have a future. I personally believe that all currencies have a future, though it is very likely some will disappear and only a few will stay. Like BTC/USD/EUR/ will be the main ones

However when the halving comes, BTC will just bomb. I believe it will interest a lot of people because of its new price tag which I can't wait till it happens.

Well I think bitcoin will have a future. It is possible that it's limit will be lifted once everyone started to us it as medium to buy their daily needs. If that will happen, well time will tell.
i think like that too to be honest and i know that bitcoin will have the future because it is the best currency of the world

I dont think bitcoins has a future because the bitcoin sill reach their  limit so if they have reached the limit the bitcoin will only have
a stable value so i dont think at that moment the bitcoin will be that popular.
You are right but it's too far to happen now. So let's just enjoy now the good benefits of bitcoin but i think even though the bitcoin will reached its limit and have a stable price i think that it will opposite to your opinion becuase i think it will be good advantage for other people like doing some online or offline business it will be more easier for them to accept bitcoin becuase it will stable and it will also serves as a secondary currency on most of the countries Cheesy. That is my opinion Smiley

If that is your thinking then it's fine. I understand that you don't know much what bitcoin really is.

Just watch those people who will earn big bucks in the future.

No worries, it is happening now. Look how many of us in here right now and what about those who are not in this community. A lot of people  are supporting it so it does have a future. It is young but it is way up now.

I doubt about that. Because in my opinion bitcoin always have a future but it's up to us on how it would be. Like if we continue using bitcoin as a primary cryptocurrency it will result for a bright future but if we turned back to bitcoin and we just keep selling our coins and thinking that it's just a shitcoin, it will result for worst scenario like the end of the bitcoin. I hope you got the point Cheesy.

A Great Time to Start Something!
June 26, 2016, 09:20:53 PM
You mean must have more lines than a spam, and must be provocative enough for new topic?
What is purpose of this topic anyway?
Bitcoin have future we all know it here.

Agreed, I really tried to read (at first) but all I see is a block of text with no real purpose.
....

Apologies to the OP, since I failed to read carefully the first time:
Should we be making alliances with other up-and-coming, innovative technologies to make sure we can achieve our long-term goals?
^^^
Great question and the answer is YES.
Even something as basic as making sure Bitcoin is easily integrated into the most popular open-source projects should be a top priority.

I am sure that bitcoin will exist for longer time than we have imagined even when its value will be very low. Blockchain is self stable and self operating platform so there will be nothing like all of sudden bitcoin will disappear.
Yes that true, even my self is wondering if bitcoin have a future when i start using it in 2014, But until now it is still capable of earning money,Its just bitcoin has a great future cause there have a great projects
