to predict the rise or the price is very difficult, because the price can change without change we know and we used to, if it holds the money is me, I make sure to buy it right now, because if we expect the bitcoin price down did not happen then we will get far behind the price increase, and it will not hurt us to buy bitcoin if we intend to invest in the long term.

It's all about how much you believe in this project, and also what are your conclusions after learning a bit about BTC. If you think that it has a potential to grow even more and you just want to hold them, then you may buy them in small portions! If you want to trade, then you should learn the market, and trading techniques to get more profits then losses.
For me, I am a believer and hope its value rises way above from what it is now!

If you plan on holding bitcoin in the long run, then they are now; Difficulty is on the increase, and supply is getting harder When talking about short term though, it may wait for more prices to drop before buying so we should often monitor bitcoin prices if we invest in making a big profit.

New user to the forums and new to Bitcoin overall, just looking for some advice. My friends have bought packs with USI-tech a few months ago when the price was around £2.5k per coin. I'm looking to get into it but just wondering when to go for it.

I've been waiting for the price to fall which it kind of has now, do I wait it out even longer for it to fork again in November? Or do I just put some money into it now. I've been doing a lot of research before I do anything but just want some opinions on here please.
The dip we're seeing now is not the lowest we've seen this month, i mean, last week btc hit 5170$, while at the moment of this post, price is around 5500$ Of course, no one can say for sure if the price is going up or down in the next couple of days.
But I would recommend you to buy now if you can, as an investment for the long term, i believe we are going to see the 6000$ again very soon, and who knows, maybe even reach a new ATH.

my relatives always tell me this Chinese proverb. "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." Let me tell you that this applies also to bitcoin. back when bitcoin was only a few dollars I already know about it. The thing is that I din't think that it will be a good investment and never bother with it and because of that I have lost a golden opportunity. So the lesson is that if you see a opportunity to invest go for it. Just remember always take caution when investing and never invest what you cannot afford to lose.

Hard to say. I wouldn't be surprised if BTC were to drop as low as USD 3000,- some time in the next few weeks or months, but it's also not something I would bet on.

I guess it mostly boils down to your own risk aversion and financial situation.

What would be worse for you? Buying in now and potentially losing your investment or not buying in and potentially missing out on what could be financial revolution of the century?

I buy every month small amount no matter what price is

Dollar-cost-averaging is also a viable option to reduce volatility risk.

If you're planning on holding the coins long term, then get them now; difficulty is increasing and supply is increasing. When talking about short term though, maybe wait for more price dips before purchasing.

The correct time to enter no one knows ... study the currency, if you believe in the project, wait for the next correction and be happy ^^.

Well the price fluctuation is a thing that even the expert trader can't predict accurately. The price might go up or down.
The fork has finished and the price has seen a little of downward movement but it is not that much though. We can consider it still a higher price.
If the price is corrected more then there might be a downward more if not we can the price rising further more. There is a fork in November and so there are chances that the price might increase until then. So you have to take your chances against the price.
