it would be better if you buy bitcoin while mining litecoin because it is possible right?. you can get huge profit in buying bitcoin then you can get huge money without investing in mining litecoin too. so it would be better if you do both.

Why not try both? Split up your funds.

It was my first thought too. This is the best way to manage the risks. Oh, and by the way, do not forget to tell us how it turned out in the result  Cheesy

I think the budget you are currently holding isn't enough to cover payment for a LTC miner so it is better to invest in bitcoin for now.
Keep in mind that investing in bitcoin isn't always profitable, I have lost many times even when everyone having profits.
if you are lack of patience like me, then there is always risk involved with your investment plans.

Mine LTC of course, especially you have free electricity.

For sure i will do the same, why because electricity is free of charge. So you can get income without pay electricity.
The income only being used for maintenance.
I am curious why electricity free??

If I were you, I would just split into the two because is not always nice to put everything one has into one direction. So investing in bitcoin and mining litecoin at same time will be better, though depending on what capital you have. Good luck.

I'm going all in on BTC Smiley

Congratulations! You made the best decision for now. We know for sure that bitcoin is exceedingly rising it's value because of it's demand to the public. Like you and me, we have now started investing in bitcoin because we believe on it's potential to be the future currency of the world, why not? Bitcoin has been in the operation for almost 10 years and though we can say that bitcoin is  just starting it's era, we can say that there so many opportunities along the way for sure especially for those who invested in it. There is much an amazing point that investing on bitcoin can save you time than mining. However, in time you can also give a try on investing on litecoin for mining.

Should I buy BTC or mine LTC?

I don't have a miner yet should I decide to mine LTC, I don't pay for electricity. I have about $665 to invest. Im only asking here because I have the inability to make up my mind.  Tongue

Thanks in advance
i think you should buy bitcoin instead of mining Ltc because mining is to slow for earnings . Much better to buy on this moment although bitcoin is keep climbing i think you can gain much profit on it Instead of mining.   Sorry for interrupting but its up to you which you prefer.

It's better to just buy the bitcoin , and I suggest too that you better invest on bitcoin to grow or to increase the value of your profit , but it depends bitcoin may increase and decrease. Ltc or litecoin uhmm... I dont know about that an so on.

Buy BTC or mine LTC? In this kind of question, I suggest that you should buy Bitcoin. You know why? Because as you've seen the value and rate of it, it's getting higher and higher. If you will able to mine LTC, you are requiring to have patience for its rate because LTC is very different from BTC. Indeed, These two are quite good. But a go in Buying BTC. You can also invest and trade using Bitcoin.

I don't have much confidence in the altcoin movement. Increases in price I believe are based merely on speculation. Bitcoins introduced the world to P2P cryptocurrency, and we're still in the introduction phase. Because of this I don't believe any altcoin will truly be successful (at least CLOSE to the level that BTC are).

No, but even if they (ltc) can beg themselves (it) to 10% of the value it's worth considering... and that's exactly what appears to be happening (around 3-5%). If you're new to cryptocurrency and you can buy 25 LTC for $100 vs 0.8 btc, its worth consideration, especially if LTC does reach $100 some day.

Looks like you should've bought Litecoin! You would have around 1,300 LTC's today if you would've bought them when you made this post, and at current price,($4.05) they would be worth $5,265. Grin

Lets see how much will it be next year.

Don't bother mining unless you enjoy the hobby aspect.  I've spent countless hours last year configuring miners, building, buying, repairing, etc....  With a marginal profit.  If I would have invested my few thousand mining dollars when Bitcoin was $6, I'd be sitting on a much bigger hoard of coins.

With your few dollars, I'd go 60% BTC 40%LTC.  It is good to diversify.  DON'T sell for at least a year though.  It will go up and down.

I would look at bitcoin like gold and litcoin maybe like silver. There is going to be more litecoins so the value will never be as high but there is a lower echelon that will need smaller denominators to trade with.(the third world)
I think both will do well though but Im keeping my money in bitcoin.

Why not try both? Split up your funds.
I go 95% on BTC and 5% on LTC but the main idea is this - split your funds. Maybe 1% Ripples too? Just saying...

A popular computer game that incorporates litecoins in the future might make it very popular among teenagers, much to the befuddlement of adult bitcoin users.

No, because that game would just use BTC. The end.
