my bad luck, the day before the spike, I sold Monero hoping for a quick profit at $48, was planning to buy more. I want to buy Monero but I dont know what to do and what price to enter. I know it can be huge in the future.
also to mention, i sold dash the same day at $231 and Monaco at $8.
I feel like crying right now. I would have more than doubled my money in last 3 days.
Monero certainly with its slow transactions is not very attractive, but this coin can please in the future and at least reach the price of dash. As a leader among the anonymous coins.

Yes, if you have enough capital, why not. Monero price now revolves around $ 213.30 USD which increases around (2.82%), monero every year its price is up, therefore monero is very good if for long term investment long.

This 2018 year will year of privacy coins. That's why such coins will more in demand. If G20 decides any bans or persecutions than privacy will become the most necessary. Screenshot my answer!

You know you turned out to be right, Monero's price reduction was significant in the days of correction. But with this size of capitalization, it should return to its former level and grow, so you still have a chance to buy, but we will do without further forecasts.

Given the current situation, it is worth noting that in most countries, most investors are not buying any coins, either Bitcoin or MONERO, because the market is falling deeply. Many people choose to buy at market prices, but it is difficult to make a profit.

I don't think it's wise to buy monero at the moment. Soon the price will drop back to normal. Had the same problem, I sold my monero when price was still at 1.6M sats and now its over 3M, such a waste. If only I hold on to it a little longer.
I think you are just less patient just this kind of emergency does show a downward trend.
I think if you are more patient you will get many profit

Monero built its reputation by being one of the most private, secure and anonymous coins in the world. Unlike bitcoin, which broadcasts all transactions on a public ledger, Monero keeps wallet addresses and transactions under wraps. so future more crypto users will needed monero so now buy monero is best choice.

People keep talking about speculative coins like deeponion and verge but I am sure monero won't be replaced by any other anon alt coin. Its yet best one developed and I see very ambitious future front of it.

I think Monero is currently the best privacy coin out there, a great community and a very active dev tem, stealth address ring signatures have proved its funtion over time, but I think there are many interesting altcoins which can be in the long term a better investment and who knows maybe will surpass Monero in a couple of years. One of the most promising ones on which you should take a look it's DeepOnion IMO, it's going to introduce most functions to make it untraceable such as DeepSend and DeepProtocol, also it has introduced many interesting features such as DeepVault and OBFS4 and MEEK protocol. You can check it out and join the community here https://deeponion.org/community  Smiley

I think with the coming hard fork on the Moner, it is quite possible to invest. For those who will have XMR, those participants will get XMV, in a ratio of 1: 10. The photo will be taken on the block 1564965, approximately April 30.

Regret is a good thing, but taking the past and just thinking that it was your destiny alone all the time could be harmful to your future.
I think the support level at 0.022 looks very strong atm and it may stretch it down to that level once it breaks 0.025 back.
You may then buy it again and wait for XMR to cross 0.05 once those Korean exchanges start pumping it hard.

And then I discovered all of Moneros privacy flaws and attack vectors. It's seems to me like an elaborate scam. zk-SNARKs (not just Zcash) actually offers real anonymity and utility. I left Monero because I found vastly superior tech.

Zcash is just a funding mechanism for zk-snark cryptography research. When it reaches a sufficient level of refinement, it'll just be added to Bitcoin as a sidechain. Good luck finding someone to buy your bags then.

I'm actually expecting zk-SNARKs to be implemented in Bitcoin Cash. Guess that will make you holding a bunch of bags too....a bunch of bags that objectively worse than my bags.

Bummer on that bad luck. At this point I'm not sure I would, makes sense that there would be a decent sized pullback but you never know!

No. Way overpriced. You're buying the top of a bubble. Also monero is a scam.

Why do you think its a scam out of interest?

Not saying it is not a scam, just not looked into it.

He is invested in ZCash and is afraid. I do remember him talking greatly of Monero 3 years ago.

Too late in my arrogant opinion, that shit was stable sort of for a long long time, I guess some whales were busy with collecting thousands of coins

Now the time for the big pump is here and we can see how they're pumping it. you see with Bitcoin people didn't know about the benefits and that's

Why it was cheap for years, but what's their excuse about Monero now? they had plenty of time to realize it's value but why suddenly buying in bulk?

I'm not going near any of the coins recently being pumped because I could lose every thing I've got from trading and investing on Bitcoin, for now

I'm just going to stick with BTC because I don't know any better and more profitable coin in this market.

This pump was caused by being listed on bitthumb
