Do you need the money? Is it for bills? In which case you certainly should. No point in dicking around.

If you don't immediately need it then perhaps hold back a portion to see what happens.

If you had your payment in BTC, would you cash out your money or you would wait increasing of cryptocurrency?
I recommend you cashing out part of it and saving part of it and wait, i still belive we will head way up.
If you wanna be really really sure then do it like 70/30 sell keep part.
Good luck! It's quite gambing game!
If there any urgent money requirement you can cash out or else hold your coins don't sell we have bright future for bitcoins. If you wait for 3 to 4 months, you can make 30 to 40% profit than today's price. I will also get my payments in bitcoins but I am not cashing out I am saving coins in my safe wallet.

To cashout for what? In my case, I have spare on my fiat and now decided to go all in with my bitcoin to face the risk of possible price decrease before, during and after August 1st. If ever there will be a worst case scenario in terms of bitcoin price, I don't see it will goes down below more at $1,000 level. Remember that this price is level is considered high price when we are stuck in 3 digits. So for me, the value of bitcoin is still interesting. I started at bitcoin at $200 level so it's reasonable for me to stay even the price will go down to $1,000.

But what if the price won't decrease after August 1st? Then the reward of facing the risk will come. Be brave enough to face the risk as we have reason to believe that we can see another ATH in bitcoin price.

Now it is not a time to take a big decision, should wait and see the situation. Don't need to afraid and don't need to run back. It is little circumstance. We are trading with crypto currencies and in it dump and pump always happen. I will fight with my bitcoins till the end, and prefer to save them. But i suggest you, if you couldn't handle it then cash out.

Still users are still split on this. Other users are selling now others are taking the risk and buying it now until August 1. I myself have no decision yet if I will move my Bitcoin and convert it to Fiat currency or will keep it in my Bitcoin wallet. I still need to be updated on what is the latest news with regards to August 1. I just want for the best thing to happen with Bitcoin.

If I get payment in Btc I use it in two ways. If I need money in that time I cash out it. Or if don't need money I invest it in  alt coin.

It totally depends on yourself.
I invest all my bitcoins in trading and investing them on yobit. I get a good profit there. I find investing them instead of cashoing them out. The use of your bitcoins totally depends on you. You can do trading with them or start investing them. I would prefer you to start trading with some good knowledge and skills with your bitcoins for some good profit.
yes every one has their own choice. to me i have invested my more that 70% assets in bitcoin, and currently i am only holding my bitcoin and not going to invest it anywhere else. i sure about the price of bitcoin that after 1st August the price of bitcoin will boost, and hope that this time it will not stay but will continue increasing and hopefully it will cross 5000$ very soon. and therefore i am not going to invest my bitcoin anywhere else except holding it.

How much value in dollars you expected as the payment? This will answer everything. If you are satisfied with what your btc make up in dollars. Then, cash out. Else if you want to go for an investment plan. Keep your money in bitcoin and enjoy the profit bitcoin has to offer.

If you have immediate need, sell it now while the price is still above 2k. Otherwise, my advice is you to hodl and wait for the effect of segwit. Most people here are predicting that the price will surge after segwit activation, it might happen. The price may drop a few hundred dollars more because of fud in route to august 1 though.

If you would need liquid cash, i suggest you cash out right now without risking. But if you "can" hold your coins, hold them. With the price right now, its not the time to sell. Rather buy more if you can and wish to profit in the future.

Dude. I suggest doing your own research and decide yourself. Don't rely on other people's choices and or decisions. Or maybe look at previous threads here and in other forums, and also on reddit. I've seen too much threads like this to be honest.
Unfortunately, the paranoia of Bitcoin users run deep. They are so scared that they suddenly bitcoin will lose all value after August 1 they are not thinking clear anymore.
Scaling upgrade, potential split, USAF or SegWit2x activation simply a hot topic right now, similar to how SegWit vs. Bitcoin Unlimited debate was a heated issue back in the day.
This is the reason we have all these topics... Op, don't sell bitcoin at all, if anything you ought to buy more coins, because the price is amazing right now. Just remember simply keep your private key to yourself.

I would be saving it to another wallet, maybe an an android application that has a private key. It is advisable to pick another wallet especially when you are using an online wallet? It may be partial but your coin are morw safe.

Not everyone buys bitcoin with same mindset and at same price. Everyone has different expectations regarding price. But coming specifically to your case, I don't find single reason why you want to sell at current price. Nor its too high, nor damn low. Better wait for market to find a way once fork thing ends and then take decision.
