I bought Verge when it was 0.08$. But recent hype related to secret partnershit did not turn out to be a success as the price went down immediately following the official annoucement of the partnership. Now, I lost in BTC value around 30% as the price did not get to my sell order. Therefore, the question to pro traders, should I hold or get rid of that s’coin? Thanks in advance!
For me Verge is a strong sell. It was a good buy in the two digit satoshi area, but I can not understand why people buy it in this overhyped price levels.Do not like Verge here but am a speculator. I already made back profits with Verge so even if I continue to play with it, it will never be with new BTC. I agree with you that 3 digit is overpriced for medium term, but for short and medium term, you can expect pumps to 1k or more a few more times, so I would always buy back more Verge at 500 or below, I have already twice done that with 2x or 3x profits. It is a pump coin, make no mistake, but lots of volume.
Copied/forked coin (no real skill needed), get a big enough community, pump time, dump on the newbs, rinse & repeat.
Needless to say I would not keep holding this.
I've bought XVG in range between 0.07 and 0.08$ , I've bought just after parnership release and massive dump. I believe that verge will remain previous levels and even go higher because this partnership isn't that bad. Moreover I like privacy coins and bet on them

I think you should hold you verge for now as what the market is experiencing is just for the main time as the market price will boom up again as this is one of the potentials coins available for now. You can also decide to invest some of the coin into some promising coin that will definitely yield more profits.
I'm not a super professional, but I will say that if the coin began to fall there you have two options, either quickly get rid of it or forget about it for a long time, but it's not a fact that it will give rise, so get rid of my opinion.

Do you trust the coin?verge is good project and has many supporters thats why im thinking why it seems like youre doubtful about holding it,since i can find good future on this though im not holding any amount.Lets keep it this way,if you think theres no recovery then sell all of them,but if not then hold the coin until it fully recovers and give you good earning
I am in on Verge big time. Holding on since October last year, didn't sell in December. I should have sold obviously and bought back in but hey, you never know.
But regarding Verge - this month will be big with all kinds of announcements (tokenpay + verge credit card), partnerships, halving and what more... So I think we are in for another ride back up with Verge!

Some people call Verge a scam, but I am sure these guys do not know anything about the coin and they are making the greatest mistake! I know that this alt will be gaining this year.

I would hold on for a while with Verge, I am surprised that the price went in the opposite direction especially considering the porn industry has been the leader in many new forms of media and the potential that Mindgeek the parent company could bring, maybe it will take time but I think holding is not the worst thing you could do.Well, I wasn't surprised. I saw how Verge swung on every good news, and you have to remember, it actually climbed/pumped during the announcement of the secret deal, all that hype and optimism were priced in. When I finally saw the reveal, I actually expected prices to plunge but my sell order still triggered at 1200 satoshi, so my real surprise was that it spiked first before declining. Still a good coin to buy for the short term, it will probably hit past 1500 sats a few more times before people realize it's not exactly a special kind of Monero.

You should definitely keep holding your Verge. Verge is one of the hottest coins in the market right now it means it can jump up and down quickly so long holders will make nice profits thanks to that "stair" movements that will keep getting better.
It is beginning to start a new trend and don’t worry about what you have bought.
I think you should wait for a good price, in my opinion this is an interesting project that has a future with its partners.
I think the team is very good and they are doing a great job. Definitely Verge will go further

Exactly, many people rushed upon buying when the company tried cheap marketing to get more users. Recently, there were highlighted by a scam partnership with Pornhub and wanted to grab more attention. I think you should get rid of this coin and sell as soon as possible at whatever profit you get. It is like saving your money before it fully gets dumped as this coin does n't speculate prosperous future in coming days.
Can you tell more about the "scam partnership" thing in detail? I didn't hear or read anything scam about the Verge & PornHub partnership.
As far I know that there was an announcement that Verge and Pornhub are partners now.
But the Verge community did not appreciate the partnership much, maybe they were expecting a strong partnership news?

That's a difficult decision obviously. Maybe a lesson to learn, not to buy a coin when it is too hot, and too high in price. It is always better to wait for a dip on a coin you believe in and jump on it at that point. Apart from that I would say, If you really believe in it, keep it. If not, get rid of it
verge is the most active coin from the beginning of the year, with multiple improvements.
Just looking at the facts of this coin!! it should already have been much, much higher than it is now at. Actually it is amazing that its success in its development, is not reflected in its price.
While most coins are absolutely bullshit coins with just a white paper and vague dreams, verge seems to have a development team, who actually believe this coin will reach what crypto currencies are meant to be.
Crypto currency should be just that, "" a currency"" , ( replacing or at least be an alternative to the regular government currencies )
For now verge is the only coin which is taking steps into that direction ( becoming a functional alternative currency to regular currencies controlled by central banks ).
Considering above mentioned facts, verge should be one of the few coins worth holding.....but in crypto space nothing is for certain. You have to consider the worst case scenarios and make sure you invest without risking more than you can handle.
