Is Verge the first privacy coin accepted from a merchant? If so, I would say to hold onto it. Even if it isn't, it's use on pornhub will help facilitate mass adoption. People who go on there and don't even know about crytpo will see the option to pay in Verge. And the traffic that site gets doesn't need to be mentioned. Users may prefer to pay anonymously rather than have the charge show up on a bank card. Despite the moral controversy around this, I think it will be a good thing in the long run.

From one side verge is anonymous coin and potentially will grow in future,  but I personal don't like verge because it's pump and dump price movement now.

Wow he bought at 8 cents!

Yeah, and do you think that there are only 3 or 4 people who bought at those prices? Let me correct you, there are thousands of people who bought at 10 cents, 20 cents, or 15 cents at least. So no, for me, those are people who do not even make their own research before investing.

Verge is a good long term hold. When people realize the impact and value of the pornhub partnership, XVG value will skyrocket. At 800 satoshis it is currently extremely undervalued. I would wait a while.

Remember that in crypto great rewards come to those who hodl.

I think it is good if you take some profits early enough to be safe if verge starts to dump. If the dump start you safed your investment it you dont feel so bad at the end Smiley

Verge community is complete AIDS. You literally lose brain cells hanging out in that Telegram.
haha Yea totally agree. I'm surprised like no one wrote that before. They reallly looks like a cult or something. Anyway Verge have their crazy followers but in general they sucked in main bisoness - security , cause thet were hacked. So now I guess they try to get more hype in they coin. But people or companies did that only when they can't do something real. So before you'll see that coin is stable( that moment can not be in this life actually) you should be careful with that. Just for notice look at their group and you'll see what is happening there

The Facebook groups are even worse.. It's just people constantly posting and asking "What will the price of Verge be in x days/weeks/months. Literally no discussion going on in there. If someone even tries to discuss something, another guy calls him an idiot and it goes nowhere..

Verge is one of the top altcoins and it will be good to hold it for a long period of time, i repeat only for long period of time because the volatility of verge price is quite high as compared to other cryptos, so if you are planning to trade it for short period of time then it will be bad idea but if you just want to hold it then just grab it as soon as possible.

I bought Verge when it was 0.08$. But recent hype related to secret partnershit did not turn out to be a success as the price went down immediately following the official annoucement of the partnership. Now, I lost in BTC value around 30% as the price did not get to my sell order. Therefore, the question to pro traders, should I hold or get rid of that s’coin? Thanks in advance!
You should hold in long term it will make decent profit because Crypto market is down in past three months so know only everything is slowly recover.
If you have many coin you should exchange some other potential platform or you have only few coins you must hold for one year automatically it will going to moon.

In think you should since it is now in a partnership with Pornhub. This partnership will surely have a great impact on the value and price of Verge. You should give it more time and wait a little bit longer before trading your Verge. Also, altcoins will have a strong market starting May due to the Consensus 2018.

I believe the coin dropped in value because investors were expecting much bigger news. So basically, it all depends on your own assessment of the new partnership. If you think the integration of verge could revolutionize the way of paying, I would definitely hold.

In my opinion, it's not the best idea to sell during a period of lows. If you really want to get rid of your stake, I would do so during a period of high growth. Just my opinion.

IMHO, verge team and commmunity are masters at creating hype out of nowhere.

I think it solely depends on what you think about bitcoin's movements. If you think that bitcoin will continue its rally and break the $9k mark or even the $10k mark, then hold. You've already lost 30% of your investment and cashing out now doesn't do much good. But make sure that if you do choose to hold, you dump it as soon as the price goes up drastically, and take the profits.

I don't see much point in holding verge in the long term. Other than short term pump and dumps, there is really nothing valuable about this coin. Hold XMR or ZEC if you want anonymous coins.

the current state for you has been quite difficult because it suffered losses. sell also certainly won't improve the situation because the loss will be greatly felt. only the most secure option is to hold until the price rose back at least until the price of the crew or could produce a profit, however, it took a long time.
there is no other way than to keep and retain it until it returns to its normal price, if you do not want to lose 30% of the bitcoin value you have, many now I see traders also suffered huge losses, even for example sold with the current price they are going to lose their assets up to 60/70%, but they do not want to lose it all, and they are up to this point still holds it.

Based on my longtime commercial experience, I think you should not hold it anymore. Sell it before Verge's price drops to $ 0.04. Verge made a wrong decision when partnering with Pornhub. The big investors hate this and they no longer trust Verge. So its price will not increase in the near future.

Verge has been on the radar of a lot of pump & dump activity especially since the debacle with tweets by John McAfee , but make no mistake, this is a very interesting project that can go to phenomenal levels; you can benefit from the extreme volatility by trading in and out of your positions a bit though of course.

Verge have potentials and it's market volume still growing, definitely it will exceed in the market and it will recover shortly from falling. If you really don't have doubts on it, HOLD might be a good thing to do. We think also that not only Verge are in dip but almost all altcoins are now on red, it could actually rise again in few days from now.
