Personally, I would not invest in ICO, invest in strong cryptocurrencies that are trustworthy, like bitcoin or Ethereum.

Invest in Bitcoin and Altcoins is safer than Investing in ICO! Invest now in Bitcoin and altcoins and hodl them for a long time to get good profits. ICO projects are now difficult to understand. Some good ICO projects are failing to reach a soft cap. I had a big hope for Konois ICO, but after 2 Months run, they gain only 126 ETH From Public Sale, Gilgamesh ICO was failed, Arizn was promising ICO but it fails too! So, ICO investing is not for everyone anymore, better to invest in altcoins.

it all depend on your choice as an investor, promising and viable projects are hard to come by these days. Even those that looks viable might end up not being unsuccessful due to loss of interest in ICOs among other factors. For me I prefer to invest in some promising Altcoins that are already on exchanges. 
All investments in ico , btc or altcoin have profit potential. But we must not forget the greater the percentage of profit the greater the risk. This applies to investing in altcoins . To invest in ico projects need to carefully examine their white paper , to pay attention to the team and the product , which offers project . With long-term investment in btc the lowest risk to lose their investment , but profits will be lower than in the case of altcoin.

You should invest in the coin which you have researched and have a good understanding of. Don't just invest in any thing just because people say so, look into all of them and determine which kind of investment would suit you best. You are the only one who knows the kind of sacrifice you are willing to make and all of these are different when it comes to that.
Bitcoin, altcoins and ICOs are all good avenues for making money in crypto. What matters is the ability to identify the right time to invest in Bitcoin, the ability to identify the right altcoin and ICO to invest in and how long to hold and when sell to make profit.

At the end decision is yours , all of these are good options , btc is safer but ico get more profit in quicker time , just with ico and some alts u need to be careful that they are not scam bcs u could lose some money . Make a good research before.
Bitcoin is best to invest in 2018. It is not completely decrease in the price.In some time it will go higher in the price at the upcoming month. In my point view bitcoin is best to invest.
I think ICO is considered as an investment, at the moment, quite ridiculous. Now only complete losers or project workers invest in ICO.
I think there are only a few good ICOS in 2018, so there are too many good ICOS in 2017. To find a good ICO in 2018 will not be as simple as 2017. It took me a long time to select and check the ICO.

Of course nowadays as drop down in the price of bitcoin should be invest in btc. Altcoins or ICO because in the start of this year bitcoin near 21k and than drop down but it will recover himself soon.

Bitcoin is definitely a good coin to invest in due to its large market cap. Some altcoins are equally good to invest in because they have also good investor support. Coins like ETH, Ripple, EOS are good to invest in. The best move to pick now is to diversify your portfolio and invest in both Bitcoin and altcoins to increase your chances of earning more profit.
In my suggestions it's better to invest nowadays in altcoins. ICO's nowadays is not safe because they are too many project turn scam because they runaway the money they got in the fund raising. Altcoins is much secured in investing your money because it's in the coinmarketcap and choose altcoins has a potential to give you a huge profit.
All of this are good for investment but i only suggest to you that before you invest in BTC,altcoins and ICO you must always check the possibility that you can get benefits if you are put an investment with them and research it carefully.
