I always try to make my decisions according to my researches about the coins. In my opinion, btc and eth are really good options, instead of having ico tokens..
This time it should invest in BTC instead of altcoins and ICOs. In the second half of 2018, ICOs are almost unlikely, altcoins in the downtrend due to BTC, ETH increase. So it is best to invest in BTC and hold until the end of 2018, which will help you make a profit without paying attention to the exchange rate of the market is fluctuating daily.
For now, I think altcoin and bitcoin investments might much more better than making invetment in ICOs. Because the prices of the good coins are getting down again in these days.
I think you should invest in Ethereum. This is the most useful coin with good technology and smart contract's!
This is the most reliable investment. The ETH is actually used, the number of transactions is growing all the time. I think that by the end of the year ETH will at least return to its highs.

Either of the three , you can invest in them ,especially during the time the market value is so low then you can buy bitcoin, any other altcoins, or invest in ICO tokens who price is low , then you can wait and hold your coins when the time comes that the price vaue of the market is rising very high , then you can sell or trade your coins.
I would say avoid ICOs. They are too risky and most of them are just shit scammy ICO whose price will eventually fall as the tokens starts to get dumped once people realize how bad the ICO is. Best is to invest on Bitcoin or altcoins. Just spread your investment between this two and hold for a long time (or unless you have reached your profit goal). Less riskier than ICO.

On your answer - yes, I have invested in Oyster Prl. coin in 2018, even like a week ago. That coin and concept looks promising for me, and it was grown so a lot from the beginning. It is worth to invest but be careful choosing your ICO. Good luck with it!
ICOs gives you the best ROI ,however, it is stil the riskiest form of investment since many ICOs are scams. It is like doing an economic decision because it needs a thorough analysis. and if you're a beginner I think you can use both bitcoin and altcoins. the advantage of altcoins is that they are less riskier than bitcoin and the advantage of bitcoin is that they invented this blockchain system. But both coins also have disadvantages such as bitcoin having an unstable price which makes it risky for the investor and altcoins are still trying to improve or develop so I think there are still some flaws in terms of investing.

I think investing an ico is getting more risky gradually. But if you do good research about the new icos, maybe you can rise your chance to find a good one. For me, trading with top coins is better.
It would be better to make different strategies and not just one, always u need to have btc in your hands and when altcoins start to go down u can buy them from the dip, also if u have free time to search about Icos it would be great investment u ll have very big profit in short time.
I guess that more profitable now is to invest in ICO, because if you choose a correct and promising project you can make nice profit!

Yes it is a time to invest in bitcoin as we see in past that the price of bitcoin was dropped so many people think that its an end of bitcoin but bitcoin rise as bitcoin is dropped again and i am pretty sure that it will come again to its original price giving you a profit of 800+$.
