I advice you to invest in Bitcoin. I'm not saying that Ethereum is not good for investing. I just simply want to emphasize that bitcoin has a higher volatility rate that can cause you to earn more. Take advantage of the cheap price of BTC now.
for now I trust investment in bitcoin more. ethereum will not rise high before bitcoin rises. therefore, just invest in bitcoin.
I think Ethereum price in the cryptocurrency market is more attractive and lower than bitcoin. Although, Bitcoin is the number one coin that has big influence on the market, Ethereum has big room for increase in value and bitcoin will not disappoint either!

I think about the current situation of the cryptocurrency market when the rates become go down and down; you should invest in BTC and hold as long as possible. I think the value of BTC will have strong growth in the following year, has more potential than Ethereum.

I seen the both coins have the same quality and quantity, but now it's very difficult to give advice to choose between the two coins, myself prefer choose bitcoin because of the faster movement of bitcoin than ethereum
Both bitcoin end ethereum havent found their bottoms yet, that`s why you`d better wait for a bit. However, i would better invest into altcoins, but it will be more dangerous.

Just doing quick maths - January/February - 2017
Btc price- $20 grand - now $5400 - approx. minus x3.7 decline
Eth price - $1100-1200 - now - $ 160 - approx - minus x 6.8 drop.

maybe ethereum still has a very cheap price because of the many dumps from ico scam that sell ethereum that they get at very cheap prices, but in my opinion the most profitable investment is ethereum because when the dump ends, you will get more profits
