Haha, yeah the wallet kinda sucks, and only MacOS and linux atm. But you don't need the wallet to mine.

You only need to mine on the pool, request a payout, upload the transaction file to TO which will produce a response file you upload back to the pool and you coins will be deposited on TO.

Has anyone found a miner that will support C31 on Windows? So far the only C31 miner I found only works on Linux... :-/

If you read the post, you'll understand that our admin endorses it and apparently, there's a really high chance that it will be successful after a few months of liquidity (since there's only a few exchange had listed Grin).

It's really a loaded question. What gear do you have? Are you going to mine and hold or mine and flip for btc, etc. Too many variables to answer yes or no to. It does seem to be the *hot* coin to mine right now though.

Yes, actually Saphire will soon release a 16GB RX 570 that will be able to mine both algos. The GPU also needs 8GB and the ASIC friendly one 11GB if I recall correctly.

Hmmm, think you're wrong there mate. 1070s work fine, any AMD card with at least 8Gb works fine too. My 470 8Gb get around 1.5Gbs if I recall, which isn't bad and only half of a 1070ti.

with just 30H/s (that would be 3x 1070tis, 8 RX470 8gb and 3 Vegas) it would yield me 11$ a day. I'd make 11$ a day if I launched my 8 Rigs on XHV/Tube/Graft atm. So it is actually worth it.

Profit wise its currently ok. But its terribly overhyped project that launched half baked. No proper wallet and you need to transfer TXT files around to move coins. Really I mean....
On top of that it has flat emmision forever so it will just inflate and lose value.

Profit wise grin and beam are quite profitable. For grin though you need 8GB cards.
