I also didn't know what the real reason why they need the KYC for the bounty hunters. But in my opinion, maybe some countries needed to know who is the one who hold a token, they want to know identity of every holders and I don't even know why they wanted to know that. Maybe for the criminals to not work in cryptocurrencies or to know who holds a million of dolllars of token. In that case, we need to check very well the campaign or project before we entered so that we can minimize the risk of an illegal use of our identity.

It was an unfortunate event that i was able to join an ICO campaign that was really not good in terms of their management. They are requiring to do the bounty hunters a KYC process as to help them identify the real bounty hunters. Well that is good though and i am confident that i am able to comply in the KYC process. However, a couple of months pass the team requires the bounty hunters to contribute with 0.1 eth and that time I was about to think why when in fact they will do KYC? So i think there is something fishy out there in their ICO and i quit joining bounty campaigns. I posted more than 200 post for them but sad to say my efforts had gone to nothing. I am afraid now to join ICO bounty campaign. Should i quit? Well anyway i found SONDER and this time i am sure that i have joined a good ICO having a live sales which sold million of tokens in their private sales. No question with the success we are almost reaching the soft cap and i am planning also to invest with them as the team told us that our contribution as eth increases so does our tokens. WOw i am really impressed with these ICO. The team are working hard and i am happy and great to be with these team. I finally found the one.
Prize campaigns are not the only way for you to get profits in crypto. You can switch to being a trader. although it's not easy, if you keep trying and have good trading techniques, then you will get a big profit
the most important thing is to become a good trader. this will allow you not to spend all your free time on technical analysis. you will just do 4-5-6 trades per year and live on this money

Quiting bounty is not the best option.
if not then what do you think is the best option ? if the guy is struggling to work with bounties he should better quit and find more easier jobs that pays better than bounties .

Some bounties are still paying good cash.
only some  . there are bounties that are paying but i dont think that their pay rate is good . bounties have changed now and we wont know if when will they are going to get hype again .

Quiting bounty is not the best option. Some bounties are still paying good cash. Make your research and do your working plans. With time good things will surface and you will laugh. Don't quit bounty. Bounty is still paying.
More and more projects that do not produce in my opinion can indeed be a consideration if indeed we are not interested in doing more work for the promotion of the project bounty. it all depends on whether we are interested or not

Just quit if you want to, no one would even care to see you quitting bounty campaign, because that also means they can get more stakes for more members that leave the projects campaign. Although, I'm not sure you are hypocrite, yet you are still wearing signature until now  Huh

i agreed with implemention KYC on bounty hunters. it reduce multiple account, but when it asked us to make some payment for our eligible tokens from our job, its a crap.
I have been unfortunate to participate in such crap and immediately shun the bounty and the reward because I found it unusual for a bounty to make request for a payment before token distribution. For KYC I think is personal to bounty hunters and for me am not interested in any bounty with Know Your Customer.

Listen mate, there lot of bounty campaign here. Im sugesting you to chose wisely, try to join a campaign managed by some profesional and experienced manager such as Sylon, Needmoney, Blockeye, Hotachy. Also if the bounty campaign require you to do KYC just do it as long it worth to do, but if they ask you to pay, just dont. i mean 0.1 eth is not small money for some people right ? We help them advertise by posting here or do retweet and tweet at twitter also like and share at facebook.
I used to join some random campaign when i was junior member, but now i only join good campaign, yeah we will never know for sure if the project will be scam or succes in the future, but we can reduce the risk by only taking good campaign. So follow my advice and be wise mate. Good luck for your next campaign.
Well thank you for your wonderful suggestions it can really helps us through in searching a good and legit bounties and for that many of us here can be aware of those scam or fake bounties.,so even that i made some mistakes before i will never quit in crypto besides it is a lesson for me to do in better next time.

Prize hunters have different views and if you feel unsure of the projects that you have participated in before or after the one you have chosen, you should decide. because I had experienced mistrust of the project while it was ongoing, my suspicion of the team's strange attitude and the sale of closed tokens. I made the decision to quit and finally it was right, a few weeks later their project was dead and many participants were stuck there.

I also experienced the same with one of the project(XPL- short name), where after doing bounty tasks at the time of distribution, admins said that bounty hunter need to pay 0.001 ETH to receive bounty rewards as to minimize the gas fee. Admin also offered me free(which are of no use now) XPL tokens to swap my other alt coins, but I immediately sense the scam and did not sent him ETH.
We should refrain from participating such projects and continue with new good ones.

u don't need to stop from bounty program..Simply research another great bounty program. I concur with KYC, it's alright and I accept that they won't utilize that for something awful. Be that as it may, in the event that they request that you send some eth, simply leave that bounty and attempt another bounty. There are as yet numerous great bounty project out there.

My experience is that I have been given nothing for my hard works by some projects on the pretext of either they failed to raise targeted amount of money or they deliberately did not pay. Of course I would get a bit disappointed. But again I raise myself and move ahead to work for good projects. I have also found some good projects too. So do not quit.

Don't make bounty as your main job, you must have another job.
I gained valuable experience and regretted leaving work at the office.
Now the situation has changed and don't expect you to get a satisfactory payment from the bounty.
There's a lots of changes that happened after 2017 deciding to quit your main job is no longer a good option now, best to be treated as your side job and enjoy every benefits that you'll gonna take instead of stressing yourself trying to work harder and feed yourself as it's the only thing that you've got.

We shouldn't leave the job in the current situation because bounties are not giving good income. After fundraising, many companies are not giving good profit to the investors because they are not actively giving updates about the progress. Even though we get paid but those coins are very useless which we are not making any money after working more than 4 months of time.

There are a lot of these scam ICOs also have lots of good ICOs. So bounty hunters have to choose carefully before joining. If you participate in scam ICOs then you will waste your time and you will not receive the bounty. That's really bad for bounty hunter. So try to check carefully before joining

It's good that you have finally found a project to campaign for. But for your first experience with the project where you wrote over 200 post and everything amounted to nothing, I will like to tell you not to be discouraged. If you allow discouragement to overtake you, you won't have the energy to participate in other projects that are actually good and rewarding

Quitting is for the weak. Quitting joining bounty campaign is a personal decision though but ask yourself these questions before you quit. Why did you start joining the bounty campaigns in the first place, what if the next bounty campaign is your breakthrough? Bounty campaign is very broad and until you start doing a proper research before joining bounty projects, you will end up promoting scam projects. Keep it up and don't quit.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
Why you want to quit in bounty campaign if we earn more on that. Maybe you said that thing its because of that so many bounty campaign are to going be scam in the end or the bounty reward we receive are no value at all.
That's the reason, he gave up because he failed in choosing a good bounty and he was talking about ICO bounty since this thread was created last August last year where market is on correction, and of course ICO projects are affected much.

It's only the beginning of the year that market started to recover and we also see some recovery from the crowd funding side which is in the form of IEO already, if he didn't quit completely, maybe he will be able to find good bounty now that could help him earn his first payment and will change his mind on the way he look at the potential of bounty hunting.
