Yesterday I decide to have a slots session, and it wasn't even fun. I made a $100 depo and start playing on my favorite slot game Nitropolis 4 from ELK

Most of the spins where dead spins with $2 bets, when I lose all my balance I made another $100 depo. And again some bad rolls until I hit the bonus, on that bonus I win $30 before the bonus started a $0 from the 8 free spins.

After that experience it leves a bad taste, I didn't enjoy the session, and feels like a rigged game.

Had anyone here had an experience like that and think about quit playing slots?
I haven't checked the volatility of this slot, but if it's not a very low one, $2 is a huge stake for most slots. Especially for such a small bank roll of $100 or $200. You must have almost one hundred times this bankroll to play peacefully. Several thousands of dollars at least to overcome the volatility I would say. Otherwise you must be ready to lose your bankroll quickly. $100 it's only 50 losing spins of $2.

Agreed, A 2$ per spin will not make you advance further due to the volatility of slot games. It’s more on a high risk high reward but it’s very hard to experience an early huge win on most of slot games due to its volatility set regardless of the provider.

I tried to play slot games with 99% plus RTP but it doesn’t give me close to breakeven range after trying 100 spin. I was supposed to use it to safely get a decent wager safely yet slot games mechanism seems like set in the lowest winning rate if you will try on,y with few spin.

The $2 bet per spin in a highly volatile games is really very risky.  Even $500 may not trigger the bonus we wanted unless one is very lucky.  With the given feedback on how deadspin is a normal result of the game a $100 to $200 bankroll may only give the player around 100 spins to 200 spins at least and with the kind of volatility this game has, it may give a result that is somehow disappointing with just the said number of spin. (unless the super bonus round is triggered and is very lucky to have a great bonus script.)

But then it was @OP's choice.  If I am to play this game, I would bet with the minimum or the one next to it to play this kind of game with high volatility and is known to give a series of deadspin with the given bankroll.

Exactly, for such low RTP we should never expect to get big win within a hundred spins. Betting $2 per spin with $200 starting bankroll and with the fact that the RTP is that low, what we can expect?
Of course it is a high risk but without a doubt it can give a high return when we are lucky enough, so we should always be ready for the worse case anytime we start gambling.
I'm slot lover but I have no courage to bet $2 per spins even on higher RTP slot although I have the same starting bankroll as him.
Maybe because I dont want to take higher risk, but maybe I can do $2 per spin on extreme volatility slot when my bankroll is at least $1k.

You shouldn't have made a second deposit after experiencing that loss the first time. Personally, I'm not a fan of slots. I'm not saying the outcome would have been different, but you should have tried other games the second time, like Limbo, Crash, or Dice. For me, at least, these games are better compared to slots, where the outcome entirely depends on the computer. Also, you can make more wagers with the same amount in these games. However, at the end of the day, the result may be the same.

Lol, you can't just advise someone not to made second deposit and blame him for playing for more. That is the mindset of the gambler, it's the feeling of the unknown that we want to try and see even if we are already on a losing streak.

So it's really hard to give him advise whether he will have to stop playing slot, or at least look at the RTP of the games he played. He could have been enjoying the game as well can't contain his emotions seeing those dead spin and so he deposited for more and see if his luck will change or not. Sometimes it happen to gambler that the second time their deposit, the outcome will be in you favor.

Perhaps he didn’t want to go far from what he’s used to. It’s not uncommon to have gamblers stick to a game that they are used to playing and understand more of its rules. So I’m not surprised that after encountering some losses, the individual proceeds to try again. At the very least, a few gamblers believes there is a possibility of winning after so many triers. It might appear so but, not many times. In some cases, you just have to take a break and try again some other day. Perhaps you might be lucky with the algorithm of the times.

Previously sorry if I said this.
but it's better for you to stop and quit slots before you become very interested in this and addicted. because maybe we will feel great at first, that we get very promising rewards from Slots, and especially when we also feel fun doing it, but believe me it won't last long. after that, we will become very addicted and can't stop.

And finally, it will be very bad when it has to end up as addicted slot gamblers. That's quite painful because it was my own brother's experience who finally lost everything because of slots, starting from the beginning of trying $ 50, until finally all his and his parents' assets were gone, without realizing it in a few months.

But if you can really massage it very well and wisely, it will not become addictive later on.

This is how it feels for everyone that lose. We all feel that the game is rigged and this isn't just for the slots but for almost every casino games that we play.

Had anyone here had an experience like that and think about quit playing slots?
I did but for other games.

I've played slots but not that often and not with a big amount. I think the better approach is when your first deposit has ran out and you lost it, you better stop and don't follow it with next deposit.

Your deposit was only 50 bets and this is very little (even taking into account the second deposit) to feel all the swings of luck. I think you should have made a 10 times smaller bet and then instead of 50 bets you would have made 500, and if you take into account the second deposit then 1000. In this case, the probability of getting a large multiplier and getting a taste of the game would have been much higher.

You don't actually get lucky everyday on house games like this, there are days the odds will be in your favor and the other days, even with your best skills you will still loose all of your bank roll and some point you will not be lucky even at one of the games at all and this is the reason why we should be able to understand when and how to manage our funds properly so we don't get loosing out totally on days such as this, it's still possible you pull up on another nad you get to win massively and make the best off  the games on that particular day, so I will say don't give up but then make sure to manage your money properly.

I think you should stop, because it sounds like you are going too far with your gambling activity. Considering you deposited 100$ bucks, you should have lost that sum of money and just left for good. However, you went ahead, and made another deposit of 100$. That is how disfunctional gambling behavior starts, leading the gambler to play more than he can afford to lose, as he keeps trying to chase losses.

In the end, there is no fun, no entertainment, just the bitter taste in your mouth, like you mentioned in your post. Therefore, strict yourself to your initial gambling budget, and don't make any increasements on it after a loss. After a while you will forget this bad taste you felt this time, just make sure to not repeat the same mistakes next gambling session.

Here is the feature of the Nitropolos 4:

With the 94.0% RTP and Volatility being high, I think this game will give more deadspin than those with the 96.5% RTP with the same volatility.  I checked the demo game and it did gives lots of deadspin despite its paylines and optional bonus features of paying both ways.

As I posted on the earlier reply, one of the review of this game greatly supported the experience of @OP.
Players who can tolerate the low return rate and high volatility will be pleased with all the tricks Nitropolis 4 has up its sleeve. After all, the massive maximum payout of 50,000x bet is not to be taken lightly. It’s promising, but the road to it can be long and covered with more empty spins than a casual player can tolerate.

Despite the high volatility and many deadspin result, the game is quite interesting because of the many feature it has which is describe in this review article: https://hideousslots.com/slot-review/nitropolis-4/

Why are you doing that to yourself?
Get your priorities in order and stop throwing money down the drain. Most people are better off staying away from gambling altogether, but slots and alike are probably the worst.
I bet you weren't even informed of the house edge for the game you were playing, not to mention the game being provably fair, which should be the standard but isn't.

Sometimes you can play a game in casino and think it is rigged if you continue to lose without winning at all for many times. It happens in slot, dice, blackjack, roulette and almost all the games. Also I noticed that the more I stay to gamble in casinos, the likely that I will lose all the money. Do not gamble with the money that you can not afford to lose.
This is how gambling is you can't really predict the outcome of a game, most people think when they spend much time in playing games like slot for a longtime they may end up winning big. Gamblers should understand the limit of a game , and when playing gambling it is better to play with a spare money , a money that you can afford to lose.  Gambling is not an easy game like the way some people thinks they can easily make profit from it. It is just a game of understanding because when you think you can easily win with all the money with you if you are not lucky it can end losing everything.

If you do find yourself on not to be that interested or getting that entertainment or leisure you do seek on playing slots then it would really be that understandable or common sense that you should
really be stopping on what you are doing instead on going to deposit that 100 bucks or even more. Just like on what others been saying on here is that on the moment that we are losing then we would really
be having those thoughts in mind or impressions that they are rigged which there's no way that we could be able to prove out but we do really that basic stuff about that "HOUSE DO ALWAYS WIN"
kind of condition on which there's no way that you could really be able to beat up the system. On the moment that you are really that winning then those bad feelings or emotions would be instantly be wiped away
on which these current emotions that you are currently feeling up now will really be that replaced by interest and trying to pursue on playing again.  Smiley

Yes, i would definitely be considering on going with the minimum on which you could really be that make outmost of your capital but well
it would really be just that depending into your preference but having that 2 bucks per roll on a 100 capital will really be just that too short.

hmm, maybe it was just an unlucky gaming session. Were there days when you were lucky and quite often? And it was at that moment that you didn’t even think about stopping playing because you were lucky. Definitely, at the moments when you lose, there is a desire to stop playing, this is absolutely normal feeling, but there is also a downside, you need to half count how much money you have already left in this game and how much you have won, and then everything will fall into place.

Probably, he's lost more in the slot, and quitting slot games is his best option. Players like Op shouldn't play slot. He lacks control. I bet Op wanted to stop after losing $100, but he couldn't. Then, he summoned enough control to stop when he realized another $100 was on the line. I recommend sports gambling to Op, it doesn't come with a quick result. The faster the result, the more players will lose money. With their fast results, slot games compel inexperienced players to continue rolling.

Regardless of the situation, the player focuses on the next win. Relatedly, slot players shouldn't deposit immediately after losing a bankroll. They are extremely vulnerable and need some rest. Else, the player's loss continues. However, timing must be observed, to escape recurring mistakes. If he can achieve quitting slots, his problems are solved. And he'll need to continue this self-examination on any other game he chooses.

$200 is a descent amount of money for anyone, I mean, you can buy a lot of things with that amount, even you can pay a House rent in some countries, but now that I have 3 Jobs is an amount that I can afford to lose, at least once a month.

And you are right, I should play provably fair games where I can verify each roll and avoid this rigged feeling.
When convert $200 into naira it will be a lot of money that one can even use to start up a business for him or herself. So if $200 is a small amount for you based on how much you receive as salaries it means you can gamble with it because you can afford to risk it. I like sport games because I can fairly predict some of them and stake. However most times I do win and lose also, the important thing as a gambler is never to let gamble ruin you, because when you are too familiar with gamble there will be a day when you won't care if you are over gambling.

Everyone has their own financial situation in life which depends on the size of the income they have or on whether the job they have is good or not or maybe even depends on the size of the expenses they have. But the point is, whatever the total amount of income you have, the point is still to use an amount of money that really won't make you regret or feel emotional when in the end the money is lost due to defeat.
Another thing that is also the point is to maintain awareness that gambling is a risky activity, where if you cannot control the risk then yes of course, as you said, gambling can destroy our lives in various aspects, the point is to remain balanced and never do things. crazy that is beyond your capabilities because of course it can trigger emotions that will make you fall further into a much worse situation.

It's a situation I've never encountered before, but with the details you've provided, I can now envision just how exasperating it must be. If slot games are no longer enjoyable and instead leave you feeling low, perhaps pausing for a while could be the better option. A hiatus can assist in preventing additional losses, affording you an opportunity to deliberate on whether gaming is worth it or not.

You might also consider exploring an alternative game that you find more enjoyable or has a higher luck quotient for you. Always bear in mind that gambling is intended as a form of entertainment, rather than a cause of stress or letdowns. Taking action to either stop or take a break can help ensure that you strike the right balance and find joy in other aspects of your life.

You lost a total of $200 which is pretty huge for someone like me from a country where minimum wage is $47. However, I don't know what that amount of money mean to you because that will determine if you gamble beyond your limit or you are just within limit. If the money became a painful loss to you, which I suspected it is, then you have to adjust your bankroll management strategy. If you are convinced the game seems rigged, then it could be the platform you use, perhaps you can try a different casino especially those implementing provably fair algorithm.

That's why I don't play slots.

I won't say this or that game is rigged because I haven't played enough of it, but I just can't get anything out of these games. It feels like all I'm doing is killing time and losing money. I'd rather go to the cinema or something for $20 than lose it pressing a button for nothing. Every time I play slots I always lose. I don't even get that $30 bonus OP is mentioning. In my games it's straight up loss.

Should you stop? Don't know, but after losing $200 on that one game I probably would switch to something else.
