Reality check, no altcoins and even bitcoin can replace fiat easily. There's a lot of factors to consider and this will take more decades and we will never know if we're still alive.

The last thing we can hope for is SEC to regulate ICOs and by having their compliant, yes it's a free market but if this wouldn't be control everything will be a mess.

Certainly not. I agree that majority of ICOs are either outright scams or fail to deliver anything due to bad execution, team, idea etc. But there are some projects which came into existence due to ICO only. Biggest example in Binance. Most popular exchange right now. If it didn't got funds via ICO, then it would have probably never launched. So what we need is a regulation and responsibility in this sector.

Vitalik has discussed about an ICO model which can help achieve that. Basically it is like a tap of water. Here tap can be thought of as a fund whose control is in the hands of investors rather than the ICO team. So every time team completes a milestone and is ready for next, investors can let some fund flow to the team. If not, then they can simply withdraw their money. So things like these are needed. And of course investors also need to invest in projects which are not HYIPs, promising bizarre rate of returns etc. Stay away from them, research and then invest. That will automatically make scam ICOs disappear over the time.

Fiat is base on each country or region why cryptocurrency is a startup token which is set up by an individual or a group of people with different use case and aim to make cryptocurrency well know to the world as a form of payment for online transaction, so having many token or coin is not an issue but the issue is do they really here to solve real problem facing all sectors of industry and I think that should really be our concern as many are in this for quick money and run to hide their face .

this certainly will not be clear, because there are still so many people who have the desire to open the ICO, but on the other hand the ICO is currently utilized for fraudulent matters. if the ICO is not upgraded, I think that investors will also diminish little by little. well, ICO is not only about good projects, or good ideas, but also a professional and trustworthy team, and many more that need to be considered.

the growth of the ico market has certainly brought many people to the crypto world and that is good. only a pity that the ico market has developed so negative by the whole scam icos. without that, it certainly had more positive influence on the crypto market.

I think no one can answer this question. Now there is little information about cryptocurrency. Many still do not know about cryptocurrencies.

Did you forget to read about cryptocurrencies and their philosophies? Did you not know that the idea was to give the freedom and liberation to everyone to choose whatever they wanted, to do away with other people controlling your decisions? With censorship and people dictating what you do?

I hate 99% of ICOs,,, but I would never say they should be put to an end. People do what they want, and it is up to you to decide if you want to be part of it.

I don't think I have to end this for Ico, in the current market conditions, of course, everything will have an effect, including in terms of Ico, everyone will hope that in the future ico will have improvements so that everything will run smoothly and in the future hopefully there will be more ico who have goals nice

No I do not think ICO's should be abolished as per your original question. Why would you deny some fantastic future projects on the basis that are currently a lot? They are not all currency based some of them are simply companies with real products choosing an alternative way of raising funding.

to compete with the fiat currency it is clear what will happen, but for now with worsening market conditions, it is still not time for fiat currencies to compete, but if fiat is rivaled by crypto it will fight many countries

It seems to me that there are new projects everyday in this Crypto industry. This has made me to think about the total number of fiat currencies in the world. I got to know that there are about 180 fiat currencies recognized by the UN.  CMC recognizes 2094 cryptocurrencies as at now.  Looking at the difference, do you think it'll help us to compete with fiats?
How does the numerous cryptocurrencies affect the growth of our Crypto industry.
Will putting an end to ICOS do something good in the crypto industry?

For me I think developers need to remodel their ICO model, we have seen that creating new tokens for every new projects make no sense and as long as they understand this that something need to be done. If the 1 of every 10 projection of success to failure rate is anything to go about then it can be said only 200+ of this projects would made it to next stage

Well to be honest the infiltration of all these numerous alt coins have contributed to the reduction of the value of bitcoin but i don't think putting an end to ICOs can solve the problem because most of these ICOs have very useful cases that can really help mankind if their project is fully put into motion. I suggest we regulate these ICOs because some are just copying others and trying to make things look new when they don't. Sad

It's not the total coins. So many dead coins need to be delisted from CMC. The total coins that has been showing on CMC needs to be decreased because the dead coins can't be counted as crypto. It's dead and it will disappear in the future. I thought that you should put your concern on this case.

Why affected with some ICO? This is a good way to have invetsment in the crypto market cap. Maybe youre frustrated with the scam ICOs. But decentralized means cannot be controlled, if you want to stop ICOs and how people can know some potential projects for investment which dont have enough resource and help to develop. You just see its negative side but not the good part.

This is a free market, and no one can say if we needed to put an end to those ICO projects. I mean this is a legitimate ways to raise fund for a certain legit and trusted project, so I don't see anything wrong with that whatsoever. If you think that they have some bearing on bitcoin market though, I say no, they won't affect bitcoin any form.

Actually ICO is a good thing, it's just that now switching functions are used by certain groups to take unilateral benefits which ultimately makes everyone think that ICO is bad.
In my opinion the ICO rules must be changed or if it still remains like this does not rule out the possibility of many more fraudulent ICO SCAM projects.

The beautiful thing about literally ANYONE can raise money through an ICO is that it truly is a free market. However, in a free market many people suck at making financial decisions. Some don't do enough research, some fall for wild claims of guaranteed profit, and some just get greedy and put too much in. Doesn't mean the rules need to change, because technically there are no rules. People just need to be more cautious.

I think ICOs should not be put to end because ICOs is where starting companies get their funds from for development. Well, literally everyone could start their own coin so regulation could make these unstoppable growth to be better in a sense that coins with real projects will only be allowed.
