For me altcoins is alternative to bitcoin so if we support it the more bitcoin is going to go down, it is very similar to bitcoin only the different is that altcoins trying to target bitcoins limitations and use it as there advantage, altcoins is just starting and bitcoin is the leading crypto today so its up to you if you want altcoins but for me im still in bitcoin.
me also support altcoins too , because altcoins created and have a good purpose for their investor , trader or supporter.
but , seems both have a good potential to growth , but at this time bitcoin price will affect the altcoins price too , if the bitcoin price fall , altcoins will have same problem like bitcoin.

Support whatever project you think will do well. Personally, I love Cardano and IOTA the most. I believe those to be the future of crypto.
For me, Of course altc 8)oin should be fully supported. We can invest the altcoin project to be well analyzed. What problems will the project solve in our life in the future. Upon review I was confident that the project would work and I also had to support the altcoin and investment funds I had. 
I think we should support both. because with the bitcoin and altcoin our life gets better. if bitcoin and altcoin become extinct it will cause big losses and unemployment will increase.
I agree, without us no improvement will happen to both altcoin and bitcoin. We must support the two cryptocurrency since they gave us a better life and helps us a lot when it cones to financial need. Not only bitcoin that we need to support but also the altcoin because it also gives income and profit to us. The value of it was also depending to bitcoin. I think we can benefit more from theae two cryptocurrency if we continue supporting it. 
I prefer to have both bitcoin and altcoins. Many of them do have very great potential and can bring very great benefits, so it's wise to have an investment in both of these types of coins.
Yeah all this crypto world is interlinked with each other and although bitcoin is the King of all but somehow bitcoins also depends upon altcoins to some extent and if altcoins will be up, surely the bitcoin will also and for that we have to support altcoins and show our interests in them as well.
I like viewing altcoins as a testnet for all things possible with Bitcoin. It is software after all!
I think buying altcoins is a good idea, because they make it possible to make a little faster. Bitcoin I left for the long term, and altcoin allow me to earn today.
Of course altcoins should be supported but when we invest the projects of altcoins should be well analyzed. What problems will the project solve in our daily life in the future? After reviewing this i will be convinced that the project will live and i will support the altcoin and investing.
From a "lets make the world a better place perspective" should we support only bitcoin right now or altcoins also?
I support the lower coins more than the bitcoin.The reason for this is the chance to gain a lot more money from Bitcoin took the coins.Because their volume is much smaller.
Interesting reasoning, 5 years ago people thought to support alts or not, today the question is raised whether the bitcoin will remain or not ?
How quickly time flies and how quickly everything changes, i would not be surprised if in 4-6 years there will be a new something, which will attempt to replace bitcoin and alts/

or if you do research for new alt coin, you can grab a lot of benefit..
and can go to the moon with ico prices..

Yes because there is nothing wrong in supporting altcoins. I believe altcoins is made for the people who wants to purchase crypto coins in affordable price.
Then they will use it for their trades. So if they lose in trading, they wouldn't have a big regret on it.

Of course like with their help we can get more Bitcoin , you know you buy and sell.It's a little risky like...you have to watch the market because the prices are unstable and they can increase and decrease anytime so yes i think we should support Altcoins.

i think as a community we should try to stay away from all pre-mined coins... (obviously mining the first block as a test, does not count as premining)
I think we should let go of those token whom untrusted. But it should be prefer also to support some alt that successful. If we dont support for it then bitcoin would be alone. I can say that alt is one of bitcoin asset that they have this as it can help in promoting and spreading the letter into the real world. That we must have bitcoin. 
I will strongly support the altcoins with prospect and good project wise. Bitcoin is majorly a means of exchange to acquire the altcoins; bridging the Cryptocurrency market and our fiats. A lot of altcoins are springing up newly and now not only bitcoin is being used for purchase now. We now have ethereum, litecoin and even dodge being used.
