Yes we should. But we should make sure we are supporting good altcoins and not scam coins which will end up failing.
Yeah you are right we need to invest and support the good altcoins for the good future of bitcoin,if the bitcoin is the only crypto then people will use this only as an investment so it can't be used by everyone in the future because it is not affordable for poor.So we need to use altcoins why it was meant for 'as currency'. Everyone is just concerned about profit and will choose an option that is giving the maximum returns. When bitcoins was not there, most of the people were investing in stock or shares. Where all the support for shares went ? All human being are greedy by nature and it is obvious that they are not loyal to any investment option.
Only people really concerned about bitcoins are the developers. They must be seeing their project at their child and will do everything possible to ensure that it lives forever.

Yes, There are many good projects coming up in 2018 and there are some already in market now.

If these Altcoins are clearly utility coins or security coins and have their purpose then yes, you should definitely support them. But if their purpose is unclear and the line between whether they are utility or security tokens is blurred - then no.
Yes we should support also altcoins without it more people will not gonna have the opportunity to participate other campaigns that can also lead them to success, and that's why I keep supporting altcoins because I know that they are also a part of bitcoin that can change it's price every time it get it's support into it.
I think we should truly support legit altcoins. Bitcoin was something very unique when it first came out on public. But over time many altcoins were released and some of them have very great usage. Supporting these coins is good for ecosystem.

I buy altcoins when they are cheap and hold for a while so I can sell when they go up and people are scrambling to get their hands on the altcoins. Easy
I think we should all support altcoins. Bitcoin has a limited supply which is sure to run out soon as over eighty percent has been mined. Some altcoins have promising futures too.

If we look at the development of bitcoin and altcoin prices in the sad crypto market for now, we should really support bitcoin and altcoin to recover the price. A lot of FUD about crypto circulating on the internet, greatly affects the elektabilitas crypto and we must prevent it by giving positive news about crypto.
Both support is important, because both are in the same type of digital currency. If in one clump of course will complement or influence each other.
Let's support both, There are good altcoins out there with good project, nice road map. I only support or invest bitcoin in the past but when i start reading about altcoins here in the forum. Some of them has good intention on why they create their project. That's the time i started following some altcoins. I think some of them will perform well too just like bitcoin in a given time.
Yes! I see eventually few alts over taking bitcoin.
