seeing the development of SOL some time ago, I believe that many people are thinking of selling their assets and collecting them in the form of SOL. In fact, currently the price of SOL is still very high, and has the potential to increase.
however, I would also not sell my assets if they were bitcoin or ethereum. I strongly believe that the potential of these two coins is greater than SOL in the long term. even when we look for a little information, then the conclusion is holding bitcoin and ethereum still has far more potential than other coins.
I also have the same thought. if interested in SOL, it is better to make a new investment instead of selling popular coin assets to buy SOL. thus the potential profit received becomes wider and larger.

It's really up to you. If you think SOLANA will be a great additional to your portfolio, you can make a diversification rather than selling your other assets. No need to fully dump your BTC to ETH unless you want to risk everything to SOLANA. As long as you understand the risks then just go ahead.

Personally, I want to diversify my portfolio assets with Solana. Long-term or short-term, I will sell it based on my anticipation of the market. Try deciding by yourself with your own given factors.

Sol is up 400% in a month, too risky if we buy Sol at this time. Solana is growing very fast, and we should not get caught up in the wave of FOMO.
Long-term, I still believe that the sol ecosystem will continue to grow with many indicators reaching new heights.

I am thinking about: is SOL really that promising and guarantee a good and worthy future investment always?
SOL has been pumped, and should we get in this coin after it's pumping?
I personally will not take that high risk of selling moreover my BTC and Ethereum to convert to SOL.
It is better to invest in whatever that we know, not based on hype at that time.
We must also know the exact good time to enter the market of a coin. If we are entering when the rate has been pumped. it will be very risky.
I actually have some SOL for trading only, but not willing to add more SOL by selling off my BTC or ETH.
Why? Yeah, I ma nota big-risk taker

There’s a huge pump with SOL recently but that is not enough for me to sell BTC and my ETH because they are all good to hold, and if you really want to buy SOL better to use fresh money. Looking at the price of SOL right now, it looks like the peak was already hit and the price starts to enter into a sideway trend so if you’re still planning to buy, this might be the best time to enter.

I will do the same. Or other option is just to sell some of your btc or eth, and then, buy sol. But don't sell all your btc and eth because they are the top among these currencies. With regards to SOL, you don't have idea what future they have in this market, can it compete with existing networks like ETH or BSC, in terms of popularity of usage? The price may be growing right now but up until what point it will continue to increase?

Solana ecosystem has grown massively this year while attracting a lot of projects to its blockchain, thus I can say it is good for both long term and short term, although either of them depends on what the holder wants to achieve and his target. But what I won't say is advisable in my own opinion is selling Ethereum and Bitcoin to buy SOL, that would be a terrible idea, unless you are in good profit in Ethereum then selling the profit to buy SOL would be a good idea.
Ethereum on the other hand, have a lot of good fundamentals or upgrades next year and this alone is capable of keeping Ethereum bullish till next year and thus increasing its value over time.
Moreover the price of SOL really dumped this week because of what happened to their network or even more, thus anyone seeking for long term holding can start looking for a nice entry.

Maybe a short term investment would do, but how sure are you that it is going to continue with this uptrend and for how long? Although Bitcoin seems to have reached his limit for now others been circling around the price range of $50,000 and $40,000. Same way you least expected this Solanatoken to reach this high, that’s the same thing that might happen with Bitcoin soon. And it maybe at a time when you have already sold yours to buy another token that may soon start to depreciate.

SOL has been very good lately in the market and i can see it has a huge potentials that will pump hard in the future. But i still not consider selling my bitcoin or ethereum to buy this token as i don't have the full trust for SOL to keep on pumping even if the worst scenario in the market will suddenly happen. Maybe if i decide to sell my bitcoin or ethereum, the reason is i want to enjoy the profits for now as their current price is already high. But i don't close my mind from investing into SOL in the near future if it still has its own huge potentials that will beat the market's sudden dipping of prices.

I actually see the solana is the opposite of what your thinking . is good for the long term because if you look at the information from their website they claim there will be a lot of progress for the long term update. In my opinion, Solana's project is worth it to follow right now. and its not overvalue or undervalue.

Couldn't agree more. Solana might be a temporary trend and
why change from something that has always proved itself in the right conditions over to something that you're not sure about its long-term stance.

Personally, I would not recommend it. Having SOL on the side, yh, sure go for it but not at the expense of BTC or ETH

I support your opinion that it is not a good decision to buy Solana by selling our Bitcoin and Ethereum. Because no matter how good Solana's performance
this year, it can't beat Bitcoin and Ethereum, so don't sacrifice our Bitcoin and Ethereum to be able to buy Solana. I still see Bitcoin and Ethereum as
much safer to choose than Solana. If we want to buy Solana, we can use the extra money we have, if we don't have the money to buy Solana,
we shouldn't need to buy Solana first.

Solona is a short-term project, better to HODL your promised top altcoins rather than selling it for temporary small trades. There is potential on the mentioned projects but the bear market will wipe all profit on the mentioned markets whenever it happens. BTW, it is a bit late to buy SOL at the moment wait for the better timing and buying opportunity. The market is going up atm, it is a matter of time to turn down in the next 2 weeks, in my opinion.

It was too late to buy Solana at this time since it was already at its prime and we are not sure how long this hype will end. If ever I sell my Bitcoin and Ethereum but this is probably the reason why I sell them as it was the better time to sell, not because of the intent of buying Solana.

I know that this project has the potential base to its current performance but I need to see how it performs when the crisis has come. Maybe I could whitelist this project and monitor its projects, might I consider buying them in the future once it still performing great.

Well the decision is all yours Investing is a little bit risky this time because of the market condition we are now at bullish season and most of the coins are in high price one of this coin is the SOL/ Solana that really have a supersonic rise in the last few weeks. There are a lot of people who are really amazed with the massive rise of solana and based on the price it has a massive rise for just a month so I think Solana is good for short term investment, just always remember that only invest an amount that you can afford to loss to avoid disappointment.

I also think it's a very good choice for short-term investments. At the speed at which the SOL is advancing, very soon we will be able to see a 300$ milestone. But I don't want to sell Ethereum or Bitcoin to invest in SOL and I won't. However, if I have extra money, I'm interested in investing in SOL.
