There is a big difference between solana and dogecoin. Dogecoin is a useless and technically worthless coin that was made as a joke and for some reason on this year people started to buy it like it worths anything and can do anything, which it can't. At the end of the day we are talking about something much different with Solana, there is actually an idea behind it, a tech that supports it and a great roadmap that if actually happens could turn it into something major.

I am not saying buy solana or don't buy doge or anything like that, in crypto world anything could go up or down and it all depends on what community feels like, ADA for example is thirdly rank on what it could be and not what it is. All I am saying is that doge and solana are two very different things that nobody could be comparing them two for what they are, only what people think about them.

If you have doubt like that, better to stay with short-term trade, very possible with SOL the market movements is really for
scalpers, you can buy low and sell high in a much shorter period.
It's something that you can play in the market and keep rinse over and over. Same with how scalpers are doing with
XRP, close gaps with buy and sell orders gives opportunities but keep in mind that in same opportunities also carried with
the same risk. In a short span you can also burn your investment..

I think there is lot of hype of Solana in the market but day before yesterday their network was shut down for more than 16 Hrs. because of overload of transactions and its price slided more than 15% asa result of this outage. I don't think Solana is replacement of Ethereum or Bitcoin , it is too early to rate Solana so high and buy it and sell everything else. Bitcoin and Ethereum have established their credibility over a long period time and I believe they continue maintaining their position in crypto space and it won't be easy to challenge their top ranks.

I think we need to take the risk and believe Solana will be profitable in the long run,
Of course when talking about risk, it will always be there and it all depends on each person's decision,
So far seeing Solana's progress is pretty good and hope it lasts for a long time

When compared to Dogecoin, Solana has more good prospects in the future, both short term and long term, Solana has good stability in the market in a few months, compared to Dogecoin which does not have any movement at this time, the difference is that Dogecoin is rising rapidly in selling price and down so fast too, solana has stability in the current price movement, I think solana is worth investing in in the future or now.

No, let's get into serious projects on Solana instead of buying SOL (coins).
Solana has recently peaked in capitalization and has an RSI divergence. One point of note is that Solana's mainnet crashed for 12 hours because there were too many transactions happening. That's also what I was thinking when looking at this project. The way to sort data recursively with 'Proof of History' is the weak point of the project, blockchain will get heavier and heavier. It is very difficult to operate a node on Solana because the data size is too large. System hardware often cannot guarantee the operation of such a node.
Solana's ecosystem has raised big money, so let's focus on new projects on Solana instead of SOL.

I had no doubt about in Solana, in fact, I hold this coin to hold in the long term. Because I saw it has a great future here in crypto space.
And I know that I know a lot of the community here as well are holding solana for the better future holdings that can give a nice savings. Have you check Matic, Busd, Dot, and link? these are also good for long term dude.

the pump that SOL shows is good indeed. and adoption for new projects is always there. and the success of the IDO made the community grow very fast.
there is a high chance that SOL will be very expensive in the future. just look at how BNB and ETH got started in the crypto market. everything from the ground up and shows a good long term project. I think SOL will be like that too.

I had no doubt about in Solana, in fact, I hold this coin to hold in the long term. Because I saw it has a great future here in crypto space.

Solana is a good coin for quick investment.
As an investor i will definitely buy it and invest on it.
But yes coming to the title of the OP, I won’t sell my ETH or BTC for buying this.
I will continue holding my BTC and ETH as long as i can. Yes if i have some extra funds and some little time to make quick profits, then i can go for Solana.
Till now Solana has done pretty good results, wish it will keep doing the same.

I see solana's progress this month very well, experiencing fantastic graphics. if you have to sell a valuable asset like bitcoin or ethereum and risk solana it might be too risky. however, if it's on a small scale it's not a problem. let's say selling 5% bitcoin and 10% ethereum to buy solana is good. as long as you have to always monitor the development of the price of solana and determine the target for solana so that the profit can be more than the bitcoin or ethereum being sold.

It has also gone to $194 also at the peak prices and this jan the prices were low and SOL is emerging as the one of the best coin but i would not suggest you exchange it for btc but for ETH you can surely go for and invest in SOL but nothing is guaranteed in this volatile market like with it's blockchain going offline the prices went down to $140 and lower also and many could have panicked out this time but for long term you can have your hands on it and gain profits in long run.

Solana rose very aggressively in the last month so I am a little doubtful whether it will continue to rise like this in short term. IMO, we can't say that this is good for the short term. if you look at last year's SOL 1 chart, you will see the movement that it takes time to go up high. maybe august is the start of its upside and that makes us think that it's pretty good for the short term. however, for popular coins like SOL, I might prefer to hold on to the long term over the short term. other than that, the potential of BTC and ethereum is also quite good. if I had it, I wouldn't sell it for SOL. if you are interested in SOL, then create your own portfolio without selling your popular coins. After all, having a principal like "don't put everything in 1 basket" will keep you from losing big because of 1 coin.
