Should you sell ethereum and btc to buy Solana/SOL?

Indeed for now that plays a role for the best coins as a means of long-term investment such as the three coins you mention bitcoin, Ethereum and Bnb. and these three coins must indeed be mandatory for us to have. because to prove the value of a coin not only takes 1 to 2 years, but it takes years to judge whether the coin is good or not

Why would anyone consider selling one of top altcoins and bitcoin, for buying another top altcoin? For me this is like selling a good item to get an item of identical value. You wont win much from doing that. Both are good for investment. If you feel like being lucky and done a good research, switching from top alt to an unknown but promossing alt is much better. With eth or btc > sol you will end with same value portfolio.

If you want to invest in solana it is the right choice, because the coin has a high possibility to increase in the future, if you currently have a lot of assets in ethereum then there is no harm in taking some to invest in solana, I think long-term investing is the best option because solana development will continue to occur and has not reached the highest point for now, Never hesitate to hold the coin.

Solana has certainly its own potentials to survive in the crypto space but i'm not stupid enough to sell my ethereum and bitcoin for Solana. But for ethereum and bitcoin, even if the market crashes, we all know the fact that they will always recover easily and go back to their top positions as the most profitable and strong investments in the crypto market. Its good to diversify but always prioritize bitcoin and ethereum on top of the list.

need a strong push for solana to be able to shift ethereum so that's why i have to exchange the bitcoin or ethereum that i have with solana, that's a bad thing imo.

Yeah that's what I am doing now mate, i am keeping my holding till now or even longer that I am willing to keep it here in my wallets.

Actually Ii don't do this option. It doesn't mean sol is not a trusted cvoin. Buut Ethereum iss trusted then this sol.The people who want to inverse on Sol, kindly inverse by the own money and don't do the transaction by investing by selling another coin. It's not a good move all the time. You may lose a chance of winning on that coin.

I wouldn't trade out your bitcoin for any coins. You should add coins like sol next to your bitcoin not 8n place of it. Too many people have bought coins in hopes of making money and trading back into bitcoin at a later date and get caught losing way too much money. I like so I just would wait until you get more money to buy it.

If so, what's the point of selling ETH? What I would do is simply buy Solana and continue to hold both ETH and SOL. It's just that they are two promising crypto assets that are better held together than selling one to buy the other.

Exactly. You won't be making profits if you sell a profitable coin to buy another promising coin. You might be losing in the end. It will be much better if you hold both ethereum and SOL and only sell them when their value hits another ATH and buy back again when their value becomes cheap. However, selling bitcoin for SOL is never a good idea. Bitcoin will always be the most profitable coin so it should always be kept and hold safely as it can give us huge profits when it starts to skyrocket again and end up in its new ATH.

SOL can be a coin of the future. However, I wouldn't sell the two most stable coins on the market. I would rather treat the investment in Solana as an additional investment. It is very possible that it will be successful, but if not, you can lose a lot.

In my opinion, selling such solid coins as Bitcoin and Ethereum to buy Solan is too much of a risk. I think the chances of Solana becoming one of the main coins on the market are very slim. I think that an interesting solution could be to simply invest part of the capital in Solana and leave part in Bitcoin and Ethereum.

If you don't have Solana in your portfolio, I don't think it's a bad idea to swap a portion of your BTC and Ethereum for Solana as this will further diversify your holdings but if you already have Solana you don't have to do that because Bitcoin and Ethereum are still the most reliable crypto to hold considering the present circumstance.
