It really depends, there is about 20% less money coming into Crypto as there was 2 months ago. Many coins are going up, but it depends on the worth of the project. I only invest in projects that have a real USP.
We couldnt tell when the altcoins will start to recover. Thats why before investing make a research which coins is really profitable. Yes it depends on the project of a certain coins their plan and their roadmap which price recover.

Altcoins and Bitcoin do not have a price correlation with each other, so it does not make sense to wait for a rise if bitcoin rises, If this has happened in the past could say that it is mere coincidence or by people waiting for a new bitcoin by investing in other cryptocurrencies in the moment bitcoin rises.

The altcoin was recover slowly but as you can see the altcopin chart was straight with the bitcoin right now. As i can see that the chart will be rebound asap and remember this time the banned news means nothing for us.

Recover from what? Most well known altcoins are still growing. Look at coinmaeketcap the history of alts like ETH, Litecoin and Dash. ETH was on around 40$, Litecoin on 4$ and Dash on 50$ at beginning of this year.

also concerned that alts will never recover to June levels vs bitcoin .... just been a steady downward trend since June for major alts.... I think 2018 will be the year alts get pumped massively as hedge funds join in on the fun

That's why you need to choose your altcoins wisely (if you are not daytrading).
Because as you understood, BTC fall = altcoin fall, bute BTC raise doesn't mean altcoin raise.

Many of them have tested their support levels and are still there not following the bitcoin upward moves.

Anyway, I suppose it's gonna take some time to get things going again.

I am not sure what do you mean by recovering. It looks to me the ALT market is rallying! It has never been better to me. But I guess it all depends when do you buy. I usually buy on dips, when there are blood on the streets.

According to my observations altcoins have a direct correlation with bitcoin during his fall. But while growth is not always the case. So that's the big question when the market altcoins will rise.

Eh, it takes time for these things to happen. Sometimes I will notice a really good project and wonder why no one is investing in it and a week later its up 200%. Just wait, waves take time to travel.
