One user asked for a screenshot of the code that introduced this. Well here it is: http://imgur.com/bATFWPI

Now im not sure if this really means anything, but if you view the exif data on that picture this is the date it was taken "2014:06:04 11:26:39" So that picture was taken about 3 months ago. But somehow you just recently found the code?

Exchangeable image file format (officially Exif, not EXIF according to JEIDA/JEITA/CIPA specifications) is a standard that specifies the formats for images, sound, and ancillary tags used by digital cameras (including smartphones), scanners and other systems handling image and sound files recorded by digital cameras. [...] It is not supported in JPEG 2000, PNG, or GIF.

Screenshots typically don't have Exif data, and this one was in PNG format.

hmm well I uploaded it to this site http://exifdata.com/exif.php , and  http://metapicz.com/#landing    and both sites gave me that date when i uploaded them .

You were probably looking at "ProfileDateTime". That's not when the picture was taken.

http://metapicz.com/#landing?imgsrc=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FbATFWPI.png

My browser says the image was modified Sun 07 Sep 2014 06:18:13 PM UTC, I'm assuming that's when it was uploaded to imgur.

Imgur automatically scrubs exif data when uploaded to the site, so any exif that may have been on the image originally is automatically nullified once uploaded.

After arguing for HOURS MANL WILL NOT return my coins
Not because I wasn't affected, he admitted I was, but because I lost 2.34BTC PROFIT and not my deposit

SO BECAUSE these coins were coins that I WON he's not refunding, which is an absolute load of shit because these rolls verified BS and MANL stated that if they were deposited and my account was negative he would of refunded.

I lost because of his bug/cheat, and I want my 2.34BTC back. I WON them fair in square, and lost them UNFAIRLY. By all means am I entitled to a refund just as anyone else is

He also just disabled the chat.
Quoting again, surprised no ones noticed he completely removed chat from the site.

1730BTC invested, 500BTC drop since chat disabled

Yelling and screaming over and over again won't make resolutions happen any quicker.  You're not the only one that noticed chat is closed, since Manl fucking said it himself that he closed it some posts above yours.

I wish just-dice was back. The allegations against dicebitco.in are very serious and hope some sort of compromise is reached asap. But, it is hard to see how dicebitco.in will regain investor/gambler confidence in its operations again.

I don't see what difference that makes.

I lost 60 BTC fair and square when I was 90 BTC in profit.

Are you saying I wouldn't have received a refund if I had lost them because the site was cheating?

I can't see any way that that makes sense. Coins are coins - to distinguish between "profit coins" and "deposit coins" seems wrong.

What if they were won on PD then deposited? Or won on a different DB account and then deposited? Are they "profit coins" then, and so not eligible for a refund if the site accidentally steals them?

Another suggestion to the manl and gerry .You should keep the chat open irrespective of people complaining. Investors who are not yet aware of the problem and are not following this thread will be helpless.

What the heck? If he's "attempting" to resolve the issues. (Not likely) Why would he disable the chat?

That's the date the ICC profile was created by Apple.

It's something about the way the monitor displays the colours. Nothing about when the image was created.

I am sorry if i dont reply fast, i keep refreshing hot wallet(just sent 2k coins more).

What just makes me sad, apart from the big blow of the site, is that people miss the picture.

So we wanted to cheat. And scam.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE explain me why i am refunding people from my wallet AND didnt simply take the 7k coins and GO?

That goes to Stunna as well, which he didnt lose opportunity to put me a negative trust. I guess this fuckup is the perfect gift for him.

Oh well.

You are free to charge me with whatever accusations you wish. But scammer : no. Last time i checked in my books, scammers dont return the loot of their"scam". Just saying.

The fact that something like this has happened on your website has ruined your reputation beyond recovery, but allow me to hammer a few more nails into your coffin.

Let's examine your website:

1. Your dice game was deliberately rigged.
2. After the rigging was discovered you quickly disabled the ability to lookup bets of other users.
3. You've chosen to only refund people with negative profit even though that results in only a 50% refund EV.
4. You turned down the opportunity to allow dooglus, king of retards, to help make your website more reputable.
5. You tried to shift the blame for this situation to a non-existent anonymous 3rd party. You've recently stated numerous times that you(manl) and gerry are the only individuals involved in the production and operation of your website.
6. Your whois(http://whois.net/whois/dicebitco.in) is completely fraudulent.
8. You artificially pumped up the facebook page(https://www.facebook.com/dicelitecoin) for your other website by purchasing 19,000+ "likes".
9. You joke around about DDoSing websites like it's nothing(http://www.reddit.com/user/dicelitecoin) - 3rd post
10. Your English is broken  Cool

If you've been paying attention you may have noticed that I skipped number seven - just like you skipped nonces.

There are several reasons why you may have chosen to not steal the 7k coins that were in cold storage.
Here are a few:
1. You feared the repercussions of openly stealing 7k coins.
2. You feared the repercussions of getting caught rigging your dice game, and wanted try to ease tensions anyway possible.
3. You think you can actually rebuild your reputation, and steal more money in the future based on that reputation.

You had the opportunity to make a decent amount of money, and you threw it away. Anyone who trusts you with their money at this point is brain dead.

Whatever the case,

https://warosu.org/data/cgl/img/0067/88/1366988815139.jpg

Just saying.

Thanks for checking on the chat Doog.
Also, after manl refused to pay people who lost due to the bug but were profitable, I asked him why did he not let the investors face the loss rather than the gamblers who lost it unfairly.

But if he still expects the site to continue after this incident, he should definitely look into a plan to repay the people who lost money due to the bug(maybe in a month's time). As No gamblers would also mean no investors, hence No Site.

Just to point out. The rolls started being fair soon after I posted about them on PRC and DB. And I figured the site devs had read the chart and fixed the bug. If this was the case, then clearly manl knew the reason behind that happening and was able to fix it immediately.

Or the mystery employee saw you talking about it and turned your doomswitch off...

I asked the dice.ninja admin when the chat about not having any other developers happened:

16:32 dmf 1 1409885702
16:32 dooglus 176 thanks
16:32 dooglus 176 that's Thu Sep 4 19:55:02 2014 Pacific

So getting on for 70 hours ago.

Manl, why don't you respond to this? You magically forgot you had a new hire 70 hours earlier? Give me a break.  Roll Eyes

We are 2 devs, me and gerry. The 3rd guy, which was hired almost 3 weeks ago and went into production around 10 days ago, was hired to mainly help gerry with the code. There are so many features we wanted to push and fixes to address, mainly on the Admin side of the site(backend).

I talk with toad on chat all the time, and occasionally we talk about things. For me devs = owners, and not employees. Want to crucify me for this also? Fine.

To address what Stunna said: You are wrong. I could disappear and no one could find me. There were SO MANY ways i could make a killing out of it. CHEATING THE NONCE?? LIKE REALLY?

what is the most likely thing a user would do when he loses? VERIFY his bets. Putting a cheat there so obvious and open is SO dumb, that i have no words to express it. Someone asked why we dont expose the guy which we hired, for the simple fact that we met him in real life. Exposing him could expose us as well. Not gonna happen.

Either if you like it or not, I will keep the site open and functional. People can judge how I am treating this situation, and make their own verdicts. Long story short : yes we fucked up. Yes it was our mistake. YES, we didnt run with the Bank Roll, even if by the looks of it site is seriously in trouble.

Judge people from their fuckups for once, and how they deal with them. Everyone does mistakes. I agree, some mistakes bigger than others(and some others HUGE like this one).

Chat is closed for now, its just creates havoc and non stop spam. Please send a support ticket if you have any issue. All tickets will be answered(provide as many details as possible).

Back to 2 devs anyways now.

For the record: 5300 BTCs paid out today.
