For autobetting being slow - we implemented some limits on very low bets, and prioritized higher limit bets(0.0001 and up you should have nearly zero delay)

I don't think it sounds good. In short, you indirectly take measures that gamblers would lose their money sooner.

Only if it's dooglus the retired casino mogul.

The other dooglus - the compulsive gambler one - should be kept as far away from our coins as possible Smiley

That other one is only ever an idiot with his own coins; he's not allowed out when others' coins are involved.

Which reminds me: is there a lot of dust left at JD? When I was withdrawing I stupidly subtracted the fee forgetting that the site takes it out automatically so I left a 0.0001 balance. Can you do a bulk dust transfer to emergency addresses? Or just "nationalize" (or is it "privatize"?) those, I don't care either way, it's just my OCD that's bothered by it.

Dooglas reading your post about going overboard with the betting worries me because I've seen you be such a great part of the BTC community to date.  I'm a compulsive gambler and it can make you do things you wouldn't normally do.  One thing that helped me early on was to separate myself from my funds so that I wasn't tempted to gamble.  GL

The 2FA incidents should be resolved by tomorrow Smiley In the meanwhile, make sure your clocks are set correctly!!

Lot of things will be added in FAQ as well.

thanks for all feedback!

I honestly think dooglus should be a staff or mod, admin. He could contribute so much to the site, and I'm sure you would trust him really easily. I think that would be a great idea. He can still ask you to make changes but it'd be easier for both of you.

Having dooglus onboard would be a major coup.  Even him having your promotion in his signature file is a boon.  The fact that he issued a mild takedown on the other site that offers investment cements your position further.

You are clearly on a winner!

You mean that 45btc bet after losing those 3 bets?

This. I hope dooglus would come out and make a clean breast of his state of mind at the moment. Just curious. Smiley

My thought at the time was that I wanted to win back my losses, and that a high-stake, high-chance bet was the "most reliable" way to do it.

That's stupid of course.

I'm playing and risking far too much, and it feels pretty out of control right now.

Is that the kind of thing you were asking for, re. my state of mind?

tl;dr: state of mind = fucked up

Yes, this is exactly what I expected you would feel right at the moment (been there, seen this). Wink

Just reloading TO-DOs!! STOP now should work 100% accurate on robot roll! 1 million bets mark passed! Keep firing feedback people! Smiley

Why auto-betting is soo slooow? It is frustration to watch the rolls. Could you optimize/rewrite the script somehow? And remove these annoying live stats at that.

I will have to check for memory leaks on the UI. To tell you the truth I have never left the site open for that long Smiley I will investigate nevertheless. Thanks for the report Dooglus!

FWIW I get the dead jim message too if I leave Chrome open overnight.

I was wondering this:

If I look at the 'investments stats', I notice that the site has a profit of -5.2 BTC.
Just below that, I noticed in the 'user stats' section a profit of 4.6 BTC.
Shouldn't these amounts be equal? What is the cause of the difference?
Investment I assume is the bankroll, the bank (house) is betting against the player. This means that the users of the site has won 4.6 BTC, and the house has lost 5.2 BTC, although I'm just guessing. I wonder where did that 0.6 BTC go? Tongue

I had that question too. Doog and OP explained it a couple of pages ago:

I deposited 8 BTC last night.

Until it got into a block, it showed up red on the list of deposits, as usual.

Then it confirmed, was credited to my account, and showed up green:

That screenshot is from a few minutes after it confirmed and was credited.

Note it says "unconfirmed" still, which is confusing. I tried switching pages several times, but it still kept saying "unconfirmed".

Is that waiting for 6 confirmations or something to switch to "confirmed"? I see this morning it's marked as "confirmed".

I believe that one is waiting for 4 confirmations that is needed to withdraw.

edit: nvm, that has been answered already. Enjoy the free bump Smiley

Deposits that have not gotten into a block are of 'pending' state. Deposits with 1 < confirmations < 4 are of 'unconfirmed' state and deposits with confirmations >= 4 are of 'confirmed' state. It is this way in order to know when you can actually withdraw.

That makes sense. You should add it to the FAQ. If you do, I think you mean "0 <" not "1 <".

At the top of the site:

Every link has a text link except for 'home', which is just an icon. It's just a little niggle, but every time I want to go back to 'home' it bugs me that there's no word on that link.

Some links have icons too, and some don't. Wouldn't it be better to be consistent? Put an icon and a word on all of them.

I left the site open last night when I went to sleep.

When I woke up, the site had frozen. The last lines in the chat were a bunch from manl saying things like (from memory)

"I crashed last night"
"literally fell asleep on the keyboard"
"anyway, back to work"

Usually the site comes back to life after a few seconds, but this time it didn't. I tried moving the scrollbar up and down but it was just dead.

I checked "top" and saw a chromium process pegged at 100% CPU with vast memory use:

and shortly after that the tab died completely, showing this message:

I don't know what the site is doing to use quite so much RAM. Can it be fixed?
