The minimum bid is 0.05 BTC, the minimum bid increment is 0.01 BTC and the bids should be evenly divisible by 0.01 BTC. The auction will end on April 1st default forum time (UTC +0000) if there is at least 1 valid bid. If there isn't one, it'll end 1 week after the first valid bid. The winner's advertisement will run for 1 month.

Example for both valid and invalid bids:
Quote
0.05 BTC <------- VALID
0.03 BTC <------- INVALID

0.06 BTC <------- VALID
0.061 BTC <------- INVALID

0.25 BTC <------- VALID
0.2556642 BTC <------- INVALID

sorry, I missed something you say "bids should be evenly divisible by 0.01 BTC" but in first example 0.03 is divisible by 0.01?

If the highest is still at 0.05 then can I bid 0.06? or is the next highest 0.10 meaning it needs to be divisible by 0.05?

scratch that, its invalid because it is lower than starting, lol, sorry, I tried reading a few times but did not get it.

0.06 for www.squallcoin.com

Regards.
No worries, I'll probably add a short explanation next to each one on the next auction.

Goodbye, Z.

0.03 is below the stated minimum bid of 0.05 and invaild for this reason.

After 0.05 the next highest valid bid would be 0.06, however a bigger increment would also be possible.

either way, I want the next highest to me me to promote squallcoin.
That would be 0.06 right now.

The second part of the condition is confusing. If there are no valid bids placed at all, how can you end the auction '1 week after the first valid bid.'
April 1st comes with no valid bid, the auction stays open.
On any day after that, let's say for example April 5th, a vaild bid is placed.
From there, the auction will stay open for exactly one week.

Since this won't be the case, as we got a valid bid in the initial time, the auction will close at April 1st.
Right on point. In the next auction, I'll probably change it to "after the first valid bid is placed".

You placed a valid bid, hence the if condidtion isn't met and we can drop that part.

Yes the condition for the time after april 1st implicates that no bid was made until april 1st.. It confused me as well. But if read properly its clear.

it seems i won this auction? mprep can you please confirm it.
It seems you failed at reading (or understanding) the OP.

The auction will end on April 1st default forum time (UTC +0000) if there is at least 1 valid bid. If there isn't one, it'll end 1 week after the first valid bid.

April 1st is still 20 days away. If you are the highest bidder then, and only then, you will have won the auction.

Yes i didn't understand it fully. Thought it will end if 7 days pass after the only bid. Thank you for clarifying. Would have been too good to be true..

"Websites advertised in my signature are not endorsed by me."

By putting them into your signature that would be viewed as endorsing. Especially if you were paid to do so.
That's the point of the notice. I tell others that I provide exposure to rather than advertise the service/website, because I use it/love it/etc.

Side note: You still playing EVE? If so shoot me a PM, I would be interested in networking on that game.
I haven't played EVE, although the stories that come out of it are rather interesting to read. Let's stay on topic though.

Ahh fair enough. I apologize for the mis-understing. Perhaps a change in the wording would make it clearer?

Oooh, I thought this was Mircea Popescu's account, who from my understanding played EVE. Again, sorry for the confusion.
