We are all entitled for our own luck as we are created by God, so focus on developing our skills and we can do that by educating ourselves in trading. It is very true for finding out the right time and the right levels for trading, we just need skill.
With developing required skills, we will get all the chances to be shining with our trading. With your skill you will get chances to make profits 99% still maybe if you do have luck favored you, would have avoided the remaining 1% too.

Skill and luck cannot be the same, but both are helping a trader to make profits. In my experience only with my skill I was unable to make profits at the same time luck alone will not help to book profits.

But, like what elder people do say, luck favors the skilled one. Yes, to maximize the possibility of using our skill in trading we just need luck.

I think between skill and luck is same, if you want to profit when trading you should know the skills,with a skill they do not lose. but skill alone is not enough,you must have the luck to get profit. it is my opinion.

Trading is mostly skill because you need to do work and research to know when to buy and sell. If you do a lot of trading, you can't make money if you don't have a sound strategy.

As quoted luck plays an big role in profiting, though the person doesn't have much skills. At the same luck won't give a constant earning, because every time luck won't stay with certain persons. Skill is not like that, we can make strategies and move on to get a constant earning. I believe that the person with skills is always lucky.

Yes indeed, luck is the basis for profit. Even so skills are also indispensable in trade. Because if we use trade only rely on luck it will not be profitable, so it is very necessary skills. With the skill we can increase the chances of luck.

Just forget about luck and go for skills. With skills you can get to anywhere and you can do anything. Skills matter a lot, if you have it in various field you can use it as a competative advantage over your colleagues. Particularly in trading, luck is not deciding anything, if we trade with only luck, then it is just a gambling.

It all depends on the type of the game. If it is dice than I absolutely agree, it is a sure way of losing money, given the house edge. But there are many games that require both luck and skill. The inference is that poker becomes a game of skill (i.e. not luck) after around 1,500 hands...

In this aspect, trading seems to be like poker, that is, the more you play, the more skill dominates luck

I can agree that poker requires you to have a high skill level that you have been building up throughout the years that you use in your advantage to win games.

But if you compare playing poker directly to trading, then with poker (regardless of your skills) you depend much more on the luck aspect than is the case with trading.

As long as people don't agree on in what category they place poker in, people will constantly keep the debate alive where they agree and disagree with each other.

You are also dependent on luck when you trade, for example if you are just beginning your career as a trader and then for political or natural reasons some of your trades were affected and you lost money then you will need for the nest months to trade just to recover your losses.

You drifted there by your conclusion that being a skillful means not ever losing to the market and I can bet my farm that every trader, one time or the other loses to the market. But what separates some traders from the bunch, is that some are able to read the market better and as well as manage their loses appreciably well than others and that is what skill does for a trader. Every business has its secrets, without it, one is simply a spectator.

the only reason why people around here use the word luck for trading around here is because sometimes prices don't move with any logic and mostly in altcoin prices they are moving based on pump and dumps and no reason whatsoever.

you will never hear a forex trader or a stocks broker say trading is luck!!!
you only hear it here because it is full of newbie traders with no knowledge of trading at all.

Very well said, newbie think trading is an easy journey because they only hear stories of successful traders. In real life, we need to understand that trading is something that we can work well to make a serious amount of money. If we succeed in the long run that means we have the skills and we can consistently profit from trading, and that everyone should do.

Newbie would surely think of this that trading is an easy thing to do because most people saying here is trading is the most best way to make money and if a newbie would able to read those they would surely think of it but as you mentioned trading is not easy and it does really need some skills and experience to it in able to be profitable and you are battling against price movements .

I agree with you that newbies that use trading to make a profit will provably fail.
But please consider that an important role in trading is luck,so if a newbie that does not understand a lot in trading has a lot of luck he may success in trading,and will be able to make some profits of it.

I would like to diagree with you because if you have even luck but you dont have knowledge on trading for sure you cant use that luck on trading because you dont know nothing at all at the first time. Lets say, you have the luck but you dont know how to use the platform, then how you would trade to make money because you are sure that you are lucky? Then its really completely useless at all..

Luck should not be considered when you are using a big amount of money to make money. It's all about the skills and you won't have the skills if you are not knowledgeable enough, when you work hard to learn and to develop your skills, luck will just come in an unexpected way.
