The ROI will be 2 years, as far as I understood.

IMO $2000+shipping is way too high for 8 Orange Pis, PSU and Ethernet hub. Oh, I forgot cables and other assembling stuff. It would be better if the developers published DIY guide and their custom firmware for Pis and router (if necessary).

Skycoin has released the first edition of it's manual for the powerful CX programming language. While being a fully general purpose programming language, CX introduces powerful security features that make it appropriate for building decentralized cloud computing applications and working with sensitive data such as cryptocurrency transactions. Features include:

CX is based on affordances, allowing the programmer to preemptively constrain and thus predict what their code will be able to do. This allows a genetic algorithm to be used to solve difficult problems or improve efficiency.  

CX provides both an interpreter for interactively coding via REPL, and a compiler for deployment.

Strict typing of variables.

Fully stateful and serializable into byte arrays. CX programs are able to be rolled back, instantiated or cloned; and subsequently deserialized on any platform with a CX interpreter/compiler.
