Slimcoin - the Proof of Donation inventors!
I did not compile it myself, I have it from
https://github.com/slimcoin-project/Slimcoin/releases/tag/SLMv0.6.0

The error message in german is: "Fehler: Transaktionserstellung fehlgeschlagen". It's something like "transaction failed".

I dont know how much of SLM you have. But you have to send it in small portions. Like if yo have 1000 SLM and you cant send it, try smaller amounts, like 700, or 500 or 300. If you did mining this happens because of many small transactions, So just reduce sending amounts of SLM until 0

I tried a fraction of my full stake too, but same failure. The full stake came in in one transaction, so no fragmentation.

I try another version of the wallet.

Alright! Please let me know whether it has solved the issue.

Hm, it can be that the app you are using was compiled for a different setup or it's some bug of the beta version.
Would you give a try the older, but stable version?
The file can be downloaded from here.

I use slimcoin-qt

The debug.log line you mentioned is not helping us much in this case as it states basically that a block was accepted.

What error message are you receiving on slimcoin-qt wallet when you try to send funds?

You've compiled slimcoin-qt by yourself, right?

Hi PeterColumboFalk,

are you using slimcoin-qt or directly slimcoind?

I have a fully synced slimcoin wallet with 4 connections, version 0.6.0.0-g8e9fe2c-alpha on Windows 8.1. The block high is the same as for the cryptoID blockchain explorer. But I'm not able so send coins from my wallet, I get an meaningless error message. I'm a newby with slimcoin.

The debug.log shows the following messages, that I cannot interpret:

Slimcoin - the Proof of Donation inventors!
I see very nice distribution of SLM per wallets if explorer is accurate enough.

And there is some interesting movement on Freiexchange these days  Smiley

Well, hope the value of SLM will be recognized

The value of SLM is growing these days, probably someone has understood it.

SLM Wallet is down on Freiexchange I've contacted their support and have spoken with @Fedde and he told me he'd have a look, but for the moment nothing has been solved.  Sad

It's a pity as we've had some nice movement there lately.

Update: The issue has been solved!

From here seems like Slimcoin has been listed on hoo.com, SLM/USDT pair, but if I go to the site I'm not seeing SLM there.

It is an old info. You can see price of SLM 3 dollars, it was once upon a time Smiley

Yep, seems like there used to be this page on their site: https://hoo.com/spot/slm-usdt, but it's not available anymore.

All my seeding nodes are stuck at block 2197245, since yesterday. What is the most efficient way to get them on the track?

Edit: seems like I'm on the wrong blockchain, I'm seeing the following message about the last block
Code:
ERROR: CheckProofOfBurn() : INFO: prev block not in main chain

Downloading the blockchain requires weeks on my VPSs  - wouldn't really like to do it again.

Edit: solved by deleting .slimcoin folder on all my VPSs and copying a .slimcoin folder from another server that had a relatively recent blockchain version.

Seems like if the server is being shut down suddenly the last block remains corrupted and the synchronizing stops. It's just a guess, of course.

Because I suspect that folks believe that sticking, syncing wallets are a Slimcoin-only problem, it's not, it's in Slimcoin's Peercoin heritage. This from the peercoin forum back on April 15th this year in response to someone reporting a wallet sticking while syncing:

Quote
Make sure you don't unlock your wallet for minting until it has finished syncing. If that doesn't work, make sure you still have the wallet backup and delete the whole folder, open the client fresh and wait for it to sync from scratch, then replace the wallet.dat file and open with the -rescan tag.

And that's a Peercoin 0.8 Core 0.16 wallet that's sticking while syncing because of premature staking.

I came across the post when confirming that the upgrade from Peercoin 0.7 to 0.8 was a hard fork (0.8 Peercoin hardfork task list), something that I think might be a bit of an organisation problem for Slimcoin, given the relatively large number of active addresses of uncontactable SLM hodlers.

Cheers

Some tard try to fake the Slimcoin ANN thread and inject a download link with malware. As I posted this, his thread is still up.

Fake ANN thread link: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/slimcoin-first-proof-of-burn-currency-decentralized-web-5273887
His pathetic github in the link: https://github.com/Slim-coin/qt
Thank you for the info, reported to moderators.
