Yeah, maybe it's bad I should spell it, as "suggestions".
And centralized exchange is hard/very hard, but it's possible to execute, as far as I see. Maybe even decentralized (but it's even more difficult to have it in nice package).

Please say your opinion in this poll on twitter.

* Marketplace - payment SLM
* Exchange - our own

I have difficulty in seeing the point of inviting people to vote for features that have no implementation.

Good, less shitcoins, more good coins - it should benefit them.
They have 300+, so it's a big list still.
I hope that overhaul of website will, benefit them, with more trading activity.

do you want to build-in Slimcoin client some simple website creator, for the decentralized publishing system in web2web? If, so can we also build some ecosystem or infrastructure around Slimcoin blockchain (maybe on other blockchains too, but I'm curious, if that's possible?).

Yes, and yes.

Maybe not an ecosystem, but I thought about decentralized marketplace? Where from Slimcoin client you could enter, with simple list of categories, and products into marketplace? It would be static, when somebody buys product (of course in SLM), they have address/QR image to deposit, escrow-like? I don't know how about escrow, but would it be so hard to implement?

Offhand, I don't know of any decentralised marketplace solutions pertinent to Slimcoin.

2008 crisis? Only this comes to my mind, when I read this.

Graham - I have one really important question - do you want to build-in Slimcoin client some simple website creator, for the decentralized publishing system in web2web? If, so can we also build some ecosystem or infrastructure around Slimcoin blockchain (maybe on other blockchains too, but I'm curious, if that's possible?). Maybe not an ecosystem, but I thought about decentralized marketplace? Where from Slimcoin client you could enter, with simple list of categories, and products into marketplace? Maybe, I'm just too demanding, but it would be something quite new, to world (apart from already in place openbaazar).

A propos of bubbles ...

Quite good: “There Never Was a Real Tulip Fever” - https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/there-never-was-real-tulip-fever-180964915/?no-ist

referencing the (even better) 1989 paper “Tulipmania” by Peter Garber in The Journal of Political Economy, which, I'm slightly ashamed to admit, I found a fascinating read in a modern context ...

Quote
Flood and Garber (1980), Hamilton and Whiteman (1985), and Hamilton (1986) have demonstrated the impossibility of distinguishing empirically between hypotheses that asset price dynamics are driven by a rational speculative bubble and that researchers have not adequately measured the future market fundamentals anticipated by market participants.

and then there's the distressingly familiar ...
Quote
Since already valuable bulbs rose by no more than 200-300 percent over a longer duration, the increase and collapse of the relative price of common bulbs are the remarkable feature of this phase of the speculation. Even if detailed, day-to-day information about market events for this period were available, we would be hard-pressed to find a market fundamental explanation for these relative price movements. It is clear that the colleges generated these prices, although they are echoed in some written contracts. As noted earlier, the college futures markets suffered from a lack of internal control over the nature of contracts, which might have encouraged a speculation of this sort. These markets consisted of a collection of people without net worth making ever-increasing numbers of "million-dollar bets" with each other with some knowledge that the state would not enforce the contracts.

Where've we seen that recently?

I added an item describing Dcrypt to the “brainwallet” section

Forgot to mention, I parked the slimcoin.club resources in doc/slimcoin.club ...

https://github.com/slimcoin-project/Slimcoin/commit/4020346abba1c0c83b83cbdf43830cc854f4488e

Open file in browser, it should at least render.

I also would love the integration of the old slimcoin.club features

What I can't fathom is who actually might have used that stuff?

I added an item describing Dcrypt to the “brainwallet” section and enabled the disabled items (mouse ptr doesn't change, that needs fixing). They never functioned but could be made to. OTOH, there's some stuff buried deep in commit histories which might be relevant to Slimcoin, as a limited-functionality alt, such as this P2SH multisig tx generator:

https://github.com/bip32/bip32.github.io/commit/07eb3669c47089d7f2dba869d7c6d2bce1202cf8

(limited-functionality as compared to the mature Bitcoin Core implementation - have you seen the output of help on a recent Core wallet?)

Cheers

Some people are mentioning, that they would like to have a pool. I've seen there is a code to compile pool, someone test it, that it works?

I tried to get https://github.com/kryptoslab/node-open-mining-portal up and running and couldn't build node-multi-hashing (one of nomp's dependencies) on any version of node other than  0.10. so, I doubt if it can be used in production.

I'm thinking about whole infrastructure, which could be brought, with some github open-source projects, to Slimcoin, and other low-volume innovative altcoins, because they blockchain is empty, so we could test their throughput, to the limit (with right 'marketing', we could start up some projects like exchanges and/or marketplaces, dice, with other altcoin communities - Datacoin and Cryptonite seems to be interested), because as we see that BTC isn't for such activity suitable.
Do you have any other ideas, which could be start-up, as a service, and the best with some sources from github?
As I have written, I thought about whole infrastructure, which could be also, in the future decentralized, on eg. Datacoin blockchain, then payment could be cleared in Slimcoin or Cryptonite.
With our fast confirmention, txs would be cleared fast and network should remain stable.
Electrum wallet would be necessary, but as I've seen there were some sources for electrum server?
