Are bonuses offered for investors?

The question makes no obvious sense in the context of Slimcoin. Did you perhaps intend to submit the post to a different thread?

What bonuses do you mean? That's not an ICO, affiliate links type of coin, that's legitimate project with dedication of some people, and goals.

Closing of nova is sad news for me and us, we must get to another exchange.

Intimation of closure of Novaexchange
Kindly note "Novaexchange" will have new owners and management effective April 2018, with major upgrades to the exchange to better handle scaling, stability and security.
For better management and security of customer funds we have decided to close down Novaexchange so that the users can withdraw all their funds with no participation/responsibility of action of the new management.

Preliminary plan:
2017-10-30 This information goes public, user registration closes, addcoin page closes, disabling deposits of ETC and ETH
2017-11-30 Deposits disabled for ALL coins, all users get level 3 verified account level
2017-12-15 ONE last deposit scan to take care of deposits made after 2017-11-30
2018-01-31 Email reminder to all registered users
2018-02-28 Trading engine stops, dice game stops, API stops
2018-03-31 Login stop, website replaced with information
2018-04-15 Support closes, all Novaexchange user data removed

Remaining user balances that has not been withdrawn before 2018-04-01 will be considered a donation and is not refundable.

@d5000 - I was talking with one of our potential contributors on slack, who want to help with redesigning website about framework UI to use, so no I didn't look at it yet.

Is there a way to tell whether a minted block is from PoW or PoB?

muf18 has already answered, but if you want to go a little deeper to understand the Slimcoin blockchain, convert the block into JSON with your Slimcoin client and look at the "flags" parameter. It should give you one value from "proof-of-burn", "proof-of-stake" or "proof-of-work". That's where the nice flame symbol at ACME comes from ...

At ACME, you can see the JSON block structure if you select "Unprocessed JSON API response" at the bottom.

on this page http://slimco.in/proof-of-burn-eli5/ the word "unfamous" is used to describe a 51% attack when the correct word should be "infamous"
Will change that soon, thanks! I've written that guide, I'm not a native English speaker, so I hope you forgive me Wink

@muf18: Have you already investigated "Semantic UI" so we can see if its CSS can be combined with Jekyll? I've briefly looked at it and I think it would not be too difficult - maybe the menus are the most difficult thing to change. Or do you want to create a totally new site?

Wasn't there talks about somebody creating a pool for slimcoin miners? With that it could gain more popularity as a lot of people don't like want to bother themselves with solo mining. (more setup to do, chance has a bigger factor in mining, etc.)

I want to upgrade website soon with help of one guy, maybe you can help us too? We want to completely redesign it and based it on some framework UI, with better UI experience.

I know that some folks don't give a care about typos - but on this page http://slimco.in/proof-of-burn-eli5/ the word "unfamous" is used to describe a 51% attack when the correct word should be "infamous" - (Disclosure...I am a holder of SlimCoin after I read a Steemit post a couple months ago and care that wording is correct) - also...while I find the features of the coin interesting compared to the other 1000 plus choices I have...what I think the coin has is hidden value in it's name itself...being SLIM is the goal of much of society...it can be taken advantage of....this coin has large upside potential IMO.

Only solo mining is possible.
With i5 6400 4ghz you can mine about 10-15 blocks per day. Block reward vary but it's about 10SLM.

tell me if it's still possible to mining in cpu? my pc is gtx1060 and with cpu I7 -4900k ,  please give me advice which pool works fine

Yes I am currently mining solo on a CPU. I believe that there are currently no pools, so solo will be the only option for the moment.

Dcrypt is more complicated than normal scrypt and thus it's only possible to mine with cpu or expirementally with amd gpu.
And also I'm giving announcement here: if anybody would want to help me with promoting, I can support him with some of mine SLM. Also I can organise up to 10K in giveaways, maybe some contest we can make?

The POW isn't regular scrypt. right?

Yes right, the algorithm is dcrypt rather than scrypt. I get something like 15-20 time the hashrate from the external miner from the link above compared to the wallet miner, so if you can, I would definitely recommend compiling and using that as you will have a far better chance of finding blocks.

The POW isn't regular scrypt. right? Must I compile the windows32 files?
I am still running the wallet generator with no luck so far...

The PoolerCPU program seems to work but never hits anything in default...
