Gambling is never been bad and no matter what kind or type that you would really be that dealing with, as long you do make yourself having that kind of normal approach that
you are really just that playing for fun and had made out some allocated budget or bankroll for a certain session and lose it all, then you wont really be having that kind of reaction.
Gamblers do usually getting impulsive on the time that they've been expecting too much on what they are really that playing. As for the case in talking about parades on showing some
gambling effects then its a good initiative on showing up on what are the cons of dealing on with too much but there would really be still those individuals will really be that getting curious on what they have seen.
basically gambling is just a means of entertainment, some even say gambling is a game for the rich but becomes serious for the poor, I think that statement is true when I think about it. Because many people in my environment are obsessed with gambling in the hope that they can get a better life by winning at gambling which can help change their difficult circumstances. Unfortunately this only makes them more miserable. When gambling is done properly, such as not excessively because they know this is a means of entertainment, then there will be no problems, I even think it is unlikely that problems can occur. However, with the many cases that occur are negative, it is the majority of people who gamble unreasonably or excessively.
I've always been of the opinion that when it comes to making comments like this, we should not completely rule out the possibilities of actually winning an amount of money is capable of changing the person's life, this i say based on what I myself have seen happen before me.
A friend of mine who was very poor, is now a rich dude living outside my country, courtesy of the huge amount of money he won from lotto, he now owns several houses and businesses in his state, and I other parts of the country.
We can't deny the fact that it's actually very possible for a poor man to win a good amount of money from gambling thereby changing his financial life for the better, but the thing is, it's rare, and only a very few persons have such luck, what about the dude who won around $140,000 with a bet of 0.5 cents, this was discussed on this forum way back 2020 or 2021 if I still remember well, that money is huge and If I have it, I will never be poor again.
This is possibly the reason why we still see alot of poor people depending on gambling as their possible gateway to a life of wealth, but it's rather unfortunate that not everyone of them will be so lucky to achieve this, only a very minimal few will.
