Wow, this is really going to take a long while but I don't think the Ethereum community will be very pushy if the developers need this time in order to make this upgrade and development secured.
The community will definitely support this development because ethereum has a great potential value that really needs to be upgraded. Either it may take longer than 2030, it's not a problem as long etherem 2.0 will finally be happening.

I think Ethereum 2.0 should not need too much time to take fully effect. These day, technology grow too fast and within a year any project can beat other project easily. If Ethereum keep slowly release Eth 2.0, other competition may have release better product and then no one will know about Eth 2.0.
It's not about tech upgrade but the complexity of the works needed in order to transfer on a new scale blockchain without any hassle. For sure Eth consider this already but of course they wanted to secure a full blown success of their migration. Remember this isnt a simple fork this is a complete changing from PoW to POS so many things should be consider.
I don't think it took so long. You know, the market capitalization is down very strongly and businesses like Ethereum often have to take advantage of something new to attract more capital from new investors into the market. Therefore, they still have daily hardwork to produce a great result for us in 2020 or 2021 by the latest. I believe that the market has grown stronger and Ethereum 2.0 will be completed sooner than you think.

I think that ethereum waits until 2030 is too long and maybe if we wait until 2030 ethereum will crash and become zero. at this time the situation in ethereum is very bad, some investors have also begun to leave ethereum because the value of ethereum has continued to decline in the past two years. I think the ethereum developers must release eth version 2.0 soon in order to attract more investors. if the ethereum developer does not develop the technology then ethereum will be abandoned and replaced by another coin.

I thought it is a typo when you have said "2030". Isnt it that ETH 2.0 will be launching by next year? if it will take up to 2030, forget about it because there might be a new tech that will emerge and replace it.
You are right if Ethereum 2.0 takes so long until 2030 to launch, another will launch or will take place from running blockchain. Although already news was cleared about Ethereum that for next two hard fork and Ethereum 2.0. Another is no matter this long two bullrun before that time.2030 is truly a long time to wait and I don't think everybody is willing to wait for that long.

Hard fork I think should not take that long except they are considering the current value of ethereum. Remember the last bitcoin fork was around the greatest bull run in the history of cryptocurrency.

This is because of the fact that the whole narrative of ETH was based on the fact that it offers a more scalable version of BTC, and there was a period of time where ETH transaction fees were more than that of even BTC's iirc.
It's obviously a huge hit and a big reason why price action is subdued. If they can get ETH2.0 to work in the near future then they are able to turn this ship around.

If that long then many projects below eth will probably step up. Of course people and investors only interested on projects eith moving parts, so to say is, If eth will delay this further then how the community will trust them with investment of their coin? It the accomplishment can be done in longer time. The implementation should not be far cause new blockchain can easily changed from POW to POS.

Very long to wait until 2030? Whether during that? I think just not too long to Ethereum to 2.0, but if it is full power will happen 2030 why not? Instead, it's great to hold a little start now for long term investments.

Very true, it will require number of years to determine if the network is truly serving its purpose. But this only shows that eth network will be here for another couple of years or so. They are one of the platforms that are continuously looking for improvement on their services. And this is a good thing as their value will also increase.

"Rome is not built in a day" it is a reality in a long process as well as ethereum of course also requires a process to build everything from the beginning until now and added to the problems that must be resolved include:
1.chain storage
2. Block size and transaction throughput
3. status size and network performance
and here I feel proud because the team is trying hard to solve it!

yep , as far i know project will be started on january next year .
but on another article i read, it will be started on june next year , well whateva , as long that happened on 2020 , its surely good , since bitcoin halving make good sentiment on crypto world, as the runner up on crypto market, i also believe ETH 2.0 will make a new good sentiment for crypto world.

op speculates about predictions for when the full effect will occur, if eth 2.0 actually occurs in q1 next year even though it is still in the zero phase, it will still undergo a long transition process from two different chains between versions 1.0 and 2.0. I am not against at eth but I think if we will wait for 2030, it is long time,it is decade. So honestly speaking it is clear that waiting for another eth version is waste of time. I think if you are going to invest now on other like in bitcoin, when 2030 came you are already successful so don't waste your time to wait for not really sure innovation.
