We don't know what is the real project and scam project, because as of now 90% of all ICO are scam. The one thing i really sure is before you trust on the project, you may know personally the team or meet up them to identify if the identity are real or not and they explain to you the real purpose of the project.
I don't know where you got this number from (90%) but the projects I participated in were not scams.
Not a single one!
The problem is that people are too lazy to thoroughly study the project they enter into (read WP, calculate profit, figure out the dates of distributing the reward, etc.).
Because of that Telegram chats are full of stupid questions that one might answer just by doing a simple 15-minute research.

Yes, recently there are a lot of them, almost every 5-10 bounties is a scam, no matter how hard you understand the project, it can all turn out to be a scam. Therefore, you need to have some kind of intuition so that you can get straight into an excellent project.

Why are there so many scam bounties out there and how are we to know which is scam or not

Really there are so many scam projects that are paraded by fraudsters however before you invest with any ICO project you need to carry out a due diligent search to ascertain the authenticity of the project. To know a scam project you should read the whitepaper to detect some of the flaws from the team structure, the project concept etc

Yeah too many scammers out there which is affected on respect with every project for example I joined bounty campaign in KORA project. There are many people waiting for the payment. But until now there are no clarity about that bounty payment . If you want to joined a bounty campaign you must be carefull with the project goals and trust only in high-reputation bounty manager that means you may minimize the risk of you gettig scammed.

Let's differentiate between these two things. I would say most of the bounty are failed when they hit into the exchanges, it's not scam but more like they can't manage the project with the amount of the money they have gotten from ICO and such and turns into bankruptcy.

And yeah, finding "decent" bounty nowadays are really difficult.

because they want to earn money for free, and it is very difficult to determine a bounty scam or not, we have to do some research on our own before joining

Why are there so many scam bounties out there and how are we to know which is scam or not
Because it's an easy money. To understand whether bounty is a scam or not you must have a good experience, there are many indicators that show that bounty is a scam, for example, standard copy-pasted website, copy-pasted whitepaper, fake team and so on

It may be helpful to do the first research on the project you are going to follow, and who the bounty manager is.

This is one of the factor to look at the project legitmacy but actually you need to refer the project potential in promotion and taking forward to reach soft cap because the people are not much understanding about the ICO project so far if the project does not reach the softcap you will get the tokens for the bounty participants as well.

If you want to look at the manager and invest you need to go with Yahoo and Lauda they are good at picking the right campaign.
Yes suppose if you don't have knowledge how to find good bounties to participate or to invest, Check who is handling that campaign there are some reputed managers in this forum they only choose good projects so you no need to worry about your payments. According to me yahoo is the best manager in this forum.

Its really hard to detect if its scam or not., some scammers nowadays are making any possible ways to earn millions of money, they creates an ICO and of course, bounty is a part of marketing plan, ive been a victim a lot of times, and i think i need to be more cautious and educated when promoting a certain project, its really hard to detect certain ICO's out there but we need to do some research before promoting in it., its a luck if you can catch good ICO's nowadays most of them will disappear after its been listed on exchanges, some of them they will just pump and exit.

To everyone, please be more cautious nowadays.

If the project has a bounty campaign, then you can see who organizes it. Bounty managers carefully study the project before starting. For example, Amazix  very often choose excellent projects. Of course, you cannot rely entirely on the bounty manager, this is just one of the criteria for your project evaluation

Yes that is true there are lots of bounty campaigns that turns out to be scam and we cannot hold the facts that there will always be bounty campaigns that are scam. We cannot also determine easily which bounty is legit ans which one is scam but just a tip for you to avoid joining scam bounties is you need to be mindful and wise before joining an specific bounty campaign.

Why are there so many scam bounties out there and how are we to know which is scam or not

There are so many scam bounties because of money. We can't really assure how we can know that the bounty is a scam. Before joining bounties better to check the ICO projects website,  white papers and all social media account that might give us information about the bounties.

yes we can predict how the fate of ICO in the future by looking at the concept and white paper. telegram is also very important to see if the followers of ICO a lot, because if many followers then likely many investors are interested and invest in ICO. in choosing ICO be careful not to follow bad ICO. all aspects can determine the results of ICO.
I don't agree with you about the telegram. I wanted to take part in 1 ICO (I won't tell if don't ask). When studying quickly realized that I have a body with a regular bench. The telegram group had 20+ thousand subscribers. At the same time, the fees were insignificant. You can quickly create the illusion of a large community, with the help of bounty and airdrop.
